8 out of 10 times we like this place. Standard burrito place Faire. Good homemade salsas But unfortunately the order accuracy isn't there. Over and over we get wrong items. This last time the order was written on the foil and they still had the wrong burrito filling. Beans not beef! We like coming here and usually the food is good. But the last two times I ordered tamales, and I love tamales it's been on a Friday night and it seems as though I got tamales that should have been thrown out Wednesday. Not ripping on this place because we do like it but the tamales are so dry and falling apart tonight my wife and I both said we've never made tamales but I bet we can make better than this. Went to Burrito Loco today for lunch, and was very happy with the food. I went with the fajitas, which were very good. And the portion size was great. My wife did the TWO item combo, Enchiladas and Tamale. She was a huge fan of the enchilada which was very tasty. The Tamale was a little dry. Rice and Beans are good, it's kinda hard to mess them up. I'm happy there's a burrito place here , but this one is not run as well as the other locations. They always forget something on your order and I'm not going to go all the way back every time, I'm always in a big hurry and don't really have the extra time to go through the bag to make sure it's all there. I have before though and there was food or always everytime without fail sauce or the carrots and peppers that they make you pay extra for missing. Every other Mexican restaurant does not charge for this they act like it's made out of gold. The customer service could really use some work too. read more

Only reason I am not giving it a 4 and not a 5 is El Burrito Loco has gotten a little to big for their britches, since they became a chain. They now charge an extra .60 cents for carrots and peppers, and ALWAYS forget to put it in! Also they give you like 3 salsa's for 6 taco's. Every other taco place gives you as much salsa and peppers as you want for free without asking, so this is obviously a giant pet peeve of coming here. I am super stoked their is finally a taco place out here, and I can only hope we continue to get more choices in the ethnic option food department, so yay for that. I really like this place. I usually order a burrito bowl. They give you tons of food for the price, and no extra charge for the guacamole, unlike some other establishments. My favorite is the chorizo with egg. Their steak fajitas are really good too. I tried the ground beef once, but it was a bit bland...could have used some seasoning. Not nearly as good as other locations, and the customer service is terrible. Something is always missing from the order, and staff is not happy when you return and ask for the rest of your order, so you have to make sure and check your bags before you leave if you don't want an attitude. I think the worst part is if you want more than one cup of hot sauce you have to pay for the order of chips and salsa. No other locations do this. The meat is very poor quality compared to other locations as well. I was so excited when I found out there would be an El Burrito Loco in Channahon, closer to home, but this is such a disappointment. read more

Quite disappointed. We ordered for delivery so that no one would have to drive tonight. My daughter, a vegetarian, ordered a vegetarian burrito. Received a beef burrito. Our choices were a 60% refund or drive over and get the one we ordered in the first place. We order from them weekly. Average $35-$40. This is the last time. Poor customer service.
