Chicken quesadillas. I couldn't come close to eating it all.

Great food! Authentic Mexican choices on the menu. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. The service was friendly and accommodating. No alcohol, if that's part of your expectation you will be disappointed. Super busy carry out business. We loved it

    The lighted sign saying OPEN!

Showed up at 8:15pm, and they wouldn't serve me. They close at 9pm. Call ahead I guess to make sure they are actually observing their advertised hours of operation. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Lafayette, though!

Steak tacos. On flour tortillas. Onion and Cilantro.

It was the perfect stop after the football game at Purdue. Very small, but not busy. Service was great and quick. Food was delicious.

I LOVED the restaurant that occupied that space years ago, Adelino's, but it was a totally different type of cuisine, so I didn't go into it comparing the two. The ambiance was great. I loved the way they'd revamped and utilized the space. Our server was attentive initially, but after we'd put in an order for an appetizer and told her we needed a minute to look things over, it took forever for her to come back to take our orders. We didn't see her much after that either. The food wasn't worth the price in my opinion. The queso dip was good, but I feel like you should get more than you do for $10. My boyfriend loved the cheesy birria tacos, but I was less happy with mine. The meat in my tacos was barely lukewarm when they got to the table, which was weird to me; even when I get shrimp tacos elsewhere (when the shrimp isn't fried), the shrimp is at least warm. The fish taco was better than the shrimp taco, but you can get far superior tacos for cheaper at other restaurants around town. We both ordered a Paloma and found them to be very tequila forward and not as effervescent as they should have been; we were expecting carbonation but couldn't taste any bubbles (and barely any grapefruit) at all. I enjoyed it more than he did though. Overall, we're pretty sure Nom Nom is a one and done for us, which is a shame, because we'd heard great things and went into it with high expectations. But for almost $80, the food and service we received just weren't up to par.

Note that they *just* moved locations last month in Broad Ripple. They did have a small space off of 65th Street, but they moved four blocks south and are now off of 63rd Street (in the previous Lou Malnati's space). They have a big outdoor patio that overlooks the river and much more space inside too. The owners are a married couple - one from Brazil and one from Mexico. Their son's name is Fernando and so it's a total family spot, infused with local ingredients and a lot of passion. Some of their most popular dishes include the feijoada (THE dish of Brazil), as well as the chicken stroganoff (also one of the top Brazilian dishes which I didn't know... apparently Russian immigrants brought it to the country in the 1920s). The chicken azteca is very popular and the pão de queijo is as well. I get the feijoada every time because it's the only place to find it in Indy and it's delicious. It's a hearty pulled pork, sausage, and black bean stew that comes with sides of white rice, orange slices, collard greens, chopped tomato salsa, and farofa (cassava flour that looks like sand but makes your dish have a great texture). All of the ingredients mix together so well. It's a hearty dish, a new experience, and will leave you coming back for more.

The owner was so personable and catering. Wow! Shout out to Cristiano! He introduced us to his mom and wife. He was so sweet. I will be back! this was the best guacamole I've ever had and my salad was the Brazilian salad and it was decent. I will probably order something different next time but All in all four stars and will return. Sidenote, the owner gave me flan as a treat, and it was amazing amazing. Amazing.
