Wow! Just happen to see the sign while stopping for gas across the street so I came in for lunch. Friendly host, super friendly waitress, excellent service from beginning to end! Stopped here as we were passing thru town on an 8 hr trip. Very, very good Tex Mex food! We had the El Burrito Special & Shrimp Brochette plates, and it was all delicious. Jackie, our server, was friendly, on top of things and overall excellent. The exterior and interior were well kept, and clean, and decor was what you'd expect for an older Mexican restaurant. Not sure when we'll pass through Cleveland, Texas again but will definitely return for the food and great service. read more

We've now given this place two chances, and both visits were disappointing. Today, we waited over an hour for our food, which arrived room temperature--sour cream included--and the meat was spoiled on two separate dishes. The waitress was very sweet and apologetic, mentioning that the kitchen always runs behind on Sundays. That sounds like a fixable issue if management chose to address it. Sadly, after two similar experiences, we won't be back. read more

Two experiences: 1. A waitress walked by the table and said "I hate working at this f&@king place"...loud enough for patrons to hear. 2. We walked in, waited to be seated for five minutes. The girl at the counter never acknowledged us in any capacity. We turned around and left. The few times we have actually been seated, the food was mediocre at best. We won't be going back. read more

Watch out guys when they say prices are subject to change without notice, it will bite you in the butt I got to the register and found my ticket was $3 more than price in menu, and the employees said well there is a sign out from the says clearly prices are subject to change and the manager just changed the price in the computer. We have been coming periodically since 2016. Food is always consistent/yummy and staff are welcoming & friendly! There were some issues with sitting with children in/near the smoking room, but they took the initiative to note that themselves and divert us to another table away from there without even having to ask or mention it. Very appreciative and refreshing to have someone think of that FOR us!!! Cost is a little higher so we do not visit as often as we normally would as a family. But it's our go to Mexican food restaurant in the area when we do need to satisfy that craving!!!!! read more

We should've known this wasn't going to be a good experience when the waiter (Mario) carded my 32-year old dining companion. Chips were stale but the three salsas were fresh and delicious. A happy-hour House Margarita arrived on the rocks and looking cleared than most canned lemonades. The flavor was sour and so light that neither of us thought it could be a margarita (I tasted it and insisted he order something better. There too-shelf "best margarita " according to Mario would be our shortly. It arrived looking the same but now with two limes wedges. We honestly think they just added a shot to the miserable margarita we'd returned. We rejected it as it wasn't any better - and the manager came by so we could explain. A beer was the final choice. Our food (two different enchilada plates) were standard fare. We'll not likely return. read more

Low quality texmex. Some items are okay and the queso is actually really good. Like good enough to eat with a spoon but I've gotten sick every time I eat here (even if I don't have the queso) . It doesn't matter what time I go the wait for my food is ridiculous. I'm also not a fan of how over worked the bust girls are : / waitresses stand and watch while two or sometimes 3 women have to serve chips and salsa while clearing all the tables. Mind you it's not uncommon for there to be large parties of 20 all at once. read more

The parking lot was pretty full, so we felt comfortable trying it, despite the mixed reviews. This place is a step above a TV dinner. Cheese enchiladas are just that cheese wrapped in a tortilla and covered with a chili sauce. They weren't cold, but weren't quite hot enough to melt all of the cheese. Yep, it's basic Tex Mex. Nothing special, but certainly fine and will satisfy you. I came with a group of 7 from work, and everyone thought their meal was fine-really the definition of A-OK. I will say the service was great. She didn't bat an eye at seven separate checks, the 3 people who changed things about their drink order after she'd gotten them, or the fact the at least 2 of us told her we were in a hurry. She was a trooper and got everything right-wish I had gotten her name because she deserves a shout out. I noticed in going here that it was one of three Mexican places within a few blocks. It's a fix for Mexican food...great green sauce for chips! The meats are above average. Everything is prepared a head of time and heated up quickly ensuring the lovely people of Cleveland get back to work on time ( LMAO). My kids love it cause it is so fast. Like I said, it's a fix. Very disappointed to have brought my mom here for lunch because the food was terrible; however, the service was good. I'm hoping they are just having an off day in the kitchen. Her silverware was dirty and we were brought another set. I ordered the Dos Carbon and she ordered the Taco Lite. The fajita meat was grainy and flavoring off. The tortilla was like one from the grocery store just wrapping the meat. My mom's crispy tacos were fried and guacamole (looked store bought) spooned on top with another mound of sour cream. This is not the same place and food since it was sold to a new owner. Have eaten there numerous time over the years and food and service was great. Now new owners and food was terrible, ordered nachos and the cheese was grated and microwaved tasted terrible. Husband ordered his usual and it was no where near what he wanted.
