I visited this location on Cinco De Mayo this year. They had live music, balloon making, and drink specials this day. The restaurant was large and had ample amount of parking. We walked in without a reservation and were sat immediately. As the night went on, the restaurant became very busy. Upon being seated our waitress came promptly and took drink orders. She was friendly and informative. I ordered a margarita and the quesadillas. The drink was very good and strong. The meat on the quesadillas were seasoned well, but the outside of the quesadillas were a little greasy. My friends each had a margarita and various dishes, but they enjoyed their dishes as well. The price of the food was reasonable along with the portion sizes. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for tasty Mexican food.

Receipt showing the ridiculous 18% forced gratuity

So apparently Los Cucos has gone to forcing tipping at 18%. They do not let you know this beforehand. I guess they hope you don't notice & do what I did. I only noticed what the total was which was $155 (after their deemed 18% gratuity) & by using that number I tipped our waitress $30. The food is good, but not good enough to have a specific gratuity forced upon the customer. There's countless other good mexican restaurants out there who don't do this. I did speak with manager Fatema who did not seem to care. Just stating it's their policy & she would tell the general manager what I said.

Tacos was so so good! I had a great time here. Definitely would come back in a heartbeat

Los Cucos is good a Mexican place very good food with good chips and salsa, the Taquitos/flautas I recommend and probably the cheapest thing on the menu, i also recommend the Mexican bowl which is my favorite item on the menu and is loaded with rice, corn, beans, creama, your choice of meat chicken-beef-pork or can do all three meats for 3-4$ which runs you about 15$ for the bowl it's well worth it. They also have some good birria tacos where you can dip them in birria soup very filling. They also have some good kid menu options like chicken quesadilla, chicken tenders, cheeseburger that compliments with rice and fries. They also have special drinks horchatas and lemonades and breakfast buffet on weekends. See my pictures for food and menu options they have. I have had an experience where I brought some out of town family about 10 of us and we were seated in party/banquet room behind the bar we ordered normally while waiting a large crowd starts coming in little by little we thought oh wow it's getting packed all of sudden and our food came so we started to see decorations being put up by the crowd of people tables were being lined up and we started getting looked at and said wow a party is going on they book the area and they put us there and the whole time we felt this energy of we gotta hurry or something but we didn't but it was uncomfortable feeling because management/hostess messed that up badly once we were getting ready to go I demanded i spoke to a manager and I did I told them they were wrong explained further and I was given a 40$ gift card it didn't cover the uncomfortable feeling and the sense to rush out of there but this was the only big issue I have ever had eating at this place, we also had some slow service moments throughout my the years of eating here but that's ok otherwise never had an issue. This place is right next to Texas Roadhouse right off the Northpark exit going north of hwy59 (69).

The Guajillo Chicken Enchiladas were delicious. I'll make this one of my favorites. The service and the atmosphere were outstanding as well.

Chicken strips kids meal! Came with lots of food but they wished they had gotten the chicken quesadillas after tasting it from my plate!

Still good! Tried both locations in Fall Creek and Kingwood and both great food! Kingwood has been very good with entertainment both times we went. Today there was a balloon artist visiting tables and treating the kids to personalized balloons. Music playing in the entryway. Pleasant servers. Becoming a favorite!

This is a really nice Mexican restaurant with excellent food. The food taste fresh and was not lacking when it came to flavor. They are generous with the meat fillings in the meals we had. Our waitress was great! The dining room was nicely decorated and tables were not crowded together which was nice. We will definitely eat here again

I love this place! I can do without the smell of cleansers and the grease trap, but otherwise a great place! The food comes out quickly and is very good! Staff is friendly the restaurant is always lively.

Friendly service. Great chips served with hot warm salsa. The fajiomeat was great with no unchewable pieces. Guacamole fresh served with pita chips. Seated immediately and priced fairly

I've been to the original location in Spring Branch, but this was my first time visiting this location. The bar is located in a shopping strip off of 59. Parking is plentiful. Unlike the original location, you do not have to scan your ID (if you've been to the Spring Branch location, then you know what I'm talking about). It was pretty early on a Saturday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. I sat at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name that served me, but she was nice. I ordered the Kingwood which is a gin based cocktail with cucumber. The drink was fine, but it was a little tart for my preference. A splash of simple syrup would have balanced it out. I did request for it to be less spicy (it has jalapeño in it). They have live music, though when I was there, they didn't have a band playing. They serve typical bar food like burgers, salads, and nachos. The vibe wasn't quite the same as the location in Spring Branch, but it was fine. This is a nice option for craft cocktails in Kingwood.

Ambiance: 5/5 Nestled in the shopping strip center off 59 HWY from the outside it blends until you notice the sign and you see "cocktail lounge" I believe it's a first the front of Kingwood and I got excited and had to stop in. Plenty of parking and casual attire is welcome. But if you want to don your full on spurs, Stetsons and swagger or your surf threads, go right ahead! Although I'm sure shirt and shoes are required and you'll probably get cold since there is no sun or waves inside. Once inside the theme is as the name of the bar is, Cowboys and Surfers. Plenty of seating from booths, tables and bar. And there's also pool table and shuffle board. There was a live band "Pack of Strays" playing and was enjoyable. The lounge has live music on certain days and a Happy Hour everyday from 4-7, so I will have to come back to check that out. Service: 4/5 I sat at the bar and bartender didn't really engage much, though I noticed him engaging with a couple of select groups. No I wasn't on my phone when I walked in, if anything I make it a point to be mindful when entering any place as to note my surroundings and also be able to tell what the vibe is like. Though the service wasn't necessarily anything noteworthy, which attention & engagement would've made the experience/review a 5, the drinks were specially crafted which takes mindfulness to make. Food/Drinks: 4/5 Their menu has multiple options when it comes to drinks and also offer some food selections. I didn't get to try the food, but saw some items that looked interesting and want to try. They also have a list of beers and wine, so again, something for every taste. For this visit I only had two drinks. Beach Break: 4/5 with choice of Gin or Vodka (I went with gin of course) it has a refreshing taste as it is shaken with fresh cucumbers and lime juice, it also has simple syrup. It was more tart than I would think it probably was going for. I did appreciate that they didn't go heavy on the sweetness, but would've liked it with agave as the fresh ingredients would go well with it. For my next visit I will likely ask to substitute with agave as they do have it and it was in my next drink. The Kingwood: 4/5 crafted with my favorite "Hendricks gin" and named after the neighborhood we live in, this cocktail is also refreshing and enjoyed more than the Beach Break. It went down easy, bartender did ask if I was good with the jalapeño that it's muddled with and this time I opted to only have it with muddled cucumber. Again refreshing and not tart so maybe this is the alternative to Beach Break. It is made with topo chico and Tajín rim. Overall it is a laid back environment, live music and the drink options are promising, it's a cocktail shop (candy shop). If you live in the area or find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and come kick up your boots and hang ten.

The staff took full accountability, apologized, and even brought us complimentary garlic knots. That's how you run a business. Since it was our first visit, our waiter took the time to recommend some of the restaurant's favorites. The manager also stopped by our table to check on our experience. When we told her how kind and attentive our waiter had been, she surprised us with a complimentary Parry's beer cup and bottle opener. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. The garlic knots were incredibly soft, buttery, and packed with garlic flavor. The atmosphere was perfect for watching the game, and the customer service turned what could have been a negative first impression into a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back!

I had the Bolognese and my wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. First off the Bolognese was one of the best I've ever had and I grew up with old Italians who prided themselves in their sauce. Reminded me of home. My wife's sandwich was so big she had to cut it in half. She said it was really good and that they could just serve it without the bun and it would be a hit. Ended up taking half of it home which I finished later in the evening and I have to agree. It was a really good chicken sandwich. And I can't forget the fries. They were great too. Chicken Lollipops were also ok but kind of small yet great as a sharing item (5) per order. So, service was friendly and top notch and provided at first by Chandan from Goa, India and then a local Hispanic lady who was pleasant but seemed in a hurry.
