Service is ok if leisurely. The food not necessarily up to much. The price of a bottle of water stung, be sure to check the cost of any drinks in the menu. I had a burger. It was meant to be in a brioche bun but came in something resembling a washing up sponge. Then meat was grey and greasy. My partner got a smattering of chips, I got a few more. The chips were good. We only had water, a starter and a main course. The cost of which was what I would expect to pay in London or New York for a far better lunch. In my experience, this is one of the better places to eat in this development.

We enjoyed a most wonderful lunch here yesterday and from start to finish it was without fault. The cheerful, friendly and efficient Irish waitress who looked after us was very helpful with menu suggestions, allowing us to chop and change various dishes with ease. The food served was delicious and very obviously freshly prepared for us. I feel I must have had the most delicious cod fillet ever ...it was encased in the lightest but crispiest peroni batter, so thin it was almost translucent - I don't know how they managed it! This was served with crispy potato wedges, fresh tartar sauce and a small side salad. My two companions each choose the same - prawn and avocado salad, which arrived in huge bowls with tons of salad items. We were also given a little basket of warm crusty bread and real butter! Will definitely be back very soon!

So maybe it should be a 2. But, they clawed back some points towards the end... Hmmm... To summarise the experience: - It's a gorgeous looking place, right on the marina. Fancy looking table cloths, nicely put together menu, absolutely packed. It seems like a classy kinda joint. - This drew us in immediately. We then had to stand for a few minutes in the entrance until someone approached us, which a young scared looking lad finally did, not knowing what he should do. We asked if we could sit, to which he pointed us to a table. Grand. Sat down. Waited. Waited some more. There is genuinely nothing that ticks me off more than not being approached by staff when first coming into a restaurant. We must have been there for a good five minutes til someone finally dropped a menu over. THey ran off again then, no drinks, no hello, nothing. Grrr. Off to a bad start. - Que lots more service blunders. Forgotten course of starters. Zero smiles. No checking if we are ok at any stage, no changed cutlery, napkins etc through courses. - Then the food. Some of it was nice some of it was not good at all. For my starter, I got a stacked vege & goats cheese creation. That was nice, but then there was this radioactive green syrup poured all over it that was just weird. It looked like that syrup the ice cream man pours on your 99. I don't want it on my veg! We both got cod, which tasted sooooo salty I can't even tell you. We called the waitress over and she explained that it wasn't fresh fish. IT WASNT FRESH FISH. In a fish restaurant. On a marina. No. No. No. All sorts of wrong. Sent it back and got some fresh fish which was delish. The damage had been done; it had put a bad taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. To be honest, all the mistakes were rectified, and they seemed like nice people working there. But there were just too many of them (the mistakes not the people. Could have done with a few more of them...), and we got off on the wrong foot in the first place, which would have been hard to rectify in the best of times. But this my friends, was not the best of times. Nor was it the worst... but it was less than mediocre. Such mediocre times. Sigh...

Very nice ambiance on the marina. Excellent fresh fish. Broad menu. Great desserts. Don't miss the…read moreprofiteroles or the cappuccino

Friendly, english speaking servers, and great wine choices. Food was very delicious. Patas Bravas trio was great, 3 different style of potatoes. The goat cheese and fig plate was delicious, one of my favorites. Also had seabass croquettes, which were very good. The beef skewers was not what we expected, but still delicious; beef and toppings prepared inside a pita, there were 4-5 pitas in the basket, so it was more like mini-gyros in a pita, but still good. The prices were good for the size, all our plates were less than 10 EUR each, and the bottle of wine was 12 EUR. Delicious meal, huge menu, pretty restaurant, and very nice outside patio. I recommend!

We ordered 6 and the waiter was shocked saying we'd never manage it! As we waited, we thought maybe we'd ordered too much but we had 4 hours til the restaurant closed so we were in no rush! As it happens, we managed 6 tapas, basket of bread, pudding, a cheeseboard, bottle of wine and liqueur. Don't know what that says about us! We didn't find the portions huge but they were delicious: The fried Lanzarote goats cheese and black pudding with baked strawberry and pepper cream gets a special mention. Staff were really warm, welcoming and funny. We're really glad we chose the old harbour to stay in as it's a lot quieter and with lots of great eateries serving fresh and artistically presented food.

Buying their fish from port and growing as much of their own veg as possible. If it can be home made it is ! Right down the delicious garlic mayo and tartar sauce . We had the Grilled Sole special and the Mussels El Golfo. Perfectly cooked great tasting cuisine.... The next day we returned and started with a shell fish soup. It was more stew like than soup and more fish, squid and prawns than shell fish but it was perfect and so tasty I ended up licking the bowl clean ! She had some tomatoe soup which was divine but not in the same class of my shellfish. For mains I had a grilled fish platter. I couldn't tell you exactly what was there but I can say there were five or six types on my plate and it was all very very nice. The trump card for this establishment is their pricing. We spent less than 15 quid for two courses with wine. Which for food of this quality is a bargain !
