Buyer Beware! Would strongly recommend buying a used car from anyone else. My reasons...APRIL 12,…read more17 my husband & myself bought a CLK 500 04 Mercedes. After a short test drive, I mentioned that the horn didn't work. Kal said , no problem, he'd have it fixed by the next day when the car would be delivered. I said I was the only driver in the family & it would be delivered? He said he always had his cars delivered. Great we thought. We also noticed the front headlight were very cloudy& wondered why more than anything. No problem,he'd have them buffed clear. How nice. A 4x4 metal flap by the back roof area was disconnected. Kal said it was simply missing a clip & he'd repair it. This was going well. Moving on, noticed the back left cover on hood was coming undone & getting frayed. Guess what? Kal would have it tucked in and secured, easy fix! The car would be delivered late the next day. Deal was done Also said he'd have the car detailed. Perfect....not! Phoned the next day to learn time of delivery. Couldn't make delivery, had to order some special parts. Fine, Friday would work. Nope, Parts still weren't there. Next week? Not Monday. Finally we got the car 8 days later. Late Wed. afternoon. Guess what? Nothing was fixed! Horn didn't work, flap still flopped, untucked top cover, headlights were still cloudy & car was dusty & crusty in corners inside & out. Called Kal &he insisted the horn worked when the car left his business. Hmmmm. Put on a flat bed truck, went 30 minutes on a freeway & it stopped working??? Wondered why he kept the car for 8 days & didn't work on it, why not simply sell the car as is & save us, especially my 88 year old husband, tons of frustration & irritation dealing with broken delivery dates & us having to continually re-schedule our time. His answer....he was in LA buying cars at auction??? Obviously he wasn't going to correct any of the problems. Our fault, buyer beware. Get everything in writing/printed, sign it, have the seller sign it & then a 3rd party. A bunch of wasted time, he lied about making repairs which I now have to pay for, do yourself a favor, deal with a dealer who has gotten good Yelp reviews!!!! Thank you, Kathy Heaney
