Bosses, managers and office personnel are liars. We made a deal in writing and when I tried to leave a deposit they said they couldn't sell it at that price after all. Then they said the unit sold but I called their other store and they said it was still available. Liars. They tried to promise me all other add ons and storage and warranties for free that they couldn't honor. All positive reviews are from their staff. As we handed over our title to trade in, they asked us to LIE to the banks! It wasn't just a small lie, it was everything about us is a lie. We are first time RV customers. After shopping around SD, we ended up buying a used 5th wheel from MyRV,. We saw a unit that we liked but we were not sure if it was the right type of unit for us. They were very accomodating and office manager Collette said any problems would be taken care of through the warranty. We did not immediately buy the unit and the salesman called us several times and said he had other units that we may like. We looked at the yelp reviews before buying the unit and asked about the 1 star ratings that are posted online. The salesman stated that it was very normal as other RV companies did not have very good yelp ratings as well. Being 1st time RV buyers, we trusted them. OUR MISTAKE. They convinced us to buy the unit from them, price etc. Once we were promised the unit would be delivered by a certain date, it took an additional 3-4 weeks. The actual delivery was a nightmare and cost was more than we expected. We had problems with the unit within the first week and we were told that the warranty would cover any issue and their maintenance/technician would come by. That is not true, no one has come by to even look. After phone calls and text messages to Collette, I finally drove to the dealership and explained the problems we've been experiencing. Collette was not there and would not return our calls. In the past, she said she would have one of their techs swing by. We have not had any positive experience with them since. I spoke to gentleman that was in charge there and he basically told me that we are on our own. Once you buy the unit, they wash their hands from any type of customer service. A RV is not like a vehicle where you can take it back to the dealership for unforseen problems to be solved. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY WILL NOT KEEP THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO YOU AS THEIR CUSTOMER. We originally were going to trade in a 5th wheel, did all the paperwork etc. and then we ended up being able to sell the 5th wheel private. I purchased a used RV from MyRVSD on October 10, 2023. The process was fairly smooth and I am happy with my RV. However, I still have not received my registration or license plates. My temporary plates expired on January 8, 2024, which was 90 days from the date of purchase. I now have expired plates, no registration and now I can't reach anyone for resolution, discussion or updates. I made multiple calls and messages on their answering system in November, December and January. When I called on January 8, 2024 to find out what was going on, I eventually reached a live person. I was told by Collette that it hadn't been 90 days, but it had. Understandably, I was/am irritated and frustrated by this situation. I was forceful in my discussions with Collette, but never disrespectful or aggressive. Eventually, she would not talk to me on the phone when I asked why there was no follow up and tried to find accountability. I asked for the information to contact their corporate office, and she said they wouldn't deal with me. I received a text in which Collette said "Getting a new title won't be done within 8 days. The unit has you listed as the registered owner, the Lein just isn't cleared yet. There's a new law that prohibits cops from pulling you over if it's less than the second month expired. If you get a ticket with a fee for the expired tags, I will pay the fee." She told me they were waiting for "the bank" to "clear the title", and said this happens all the time in California. The last time she responded to me was January 11th, telling me I just had to wait, and if I needed to speak to someone, I should call the office and not text her anymore. She also tried to tell me if it less than the second month expired, I won't get a ticket if I drive it. Well, we are now at the second month expired, and I cannot drive it. It is now February 6, my registration will be 30 days late tomorrow and there is still no word from MyRVSD on where my license plates are or if this title has been cleared. I'm not sure where to go to find resolution, but I figured starting with a public review may spur some interest in resolving this. Update-02/07/2024 After calling several times today, I finally reached Collette, who tells me they are closed today, but she saw my number so she was doing me a favor by answering my call. She said she saw my review here and also the post I put on their Facebook group (which I am now blocked from) yesterday. I called their office several times yesterday as well as sending Collette a text message which was ignored before posting anything online. If I had not posted anything, and called multiple times, there would have been no communication from them She said they had to try to get a duplicate title since they never got the title from the bank, and that it "just" came through yesterday. When I expressed my frustration again, she said "I don't want to argue back and forth with you. I don't want you to have a bad day, I don't want to have a bad day." ?? Told me to call back in 2 weeks. When I said "2 weeks? No...", she said "Ok, bye" and hung up on me. I called the DMV myself and after waiting over an hour, found out that they submitted paperwork on November 13, 2023, but it was incomplete. They were contacted but never responded until I pushed the issue in January, when my temp plates expired. If I had not called repeatedly today, I would still not have any idea what was going on. read more

Very poor customer service, bought a toy hauler in November 2023 waited 2 weeks for them to prep trailer, showed up the scheduled date to find the trailer still wasn't ready and was now missing a bracket for the rear drop down bed/bench, I've been calling leaving messages stopped in and was feed some bs, trailer still not fixed along with other miscellaneous Items needing repairs. It has been 10 months and I regret to have to write this review. We have no had positive interactions with MyRV, following the purchase of our new toy hauler. Initially, we had an excellent experience with dynamic and engaging sales staff. We made it abundantly clear that we would need a mobile technician for any issues. As part of the sales pitch, we were assured mobile technicians would be available to us under our extended warrenty. However, shortly after our purchase, several issues cropped up (which we have now come to expect from purchasing a Forest River product). After reaching out to MyRv, we were told the mobile tech had just quit and they had no one to send to us. They also told us they would not be reimbursing any independent technicians. Months later, we had another issue crop up and were told the same thing: the mobile technician quit. They sought no ways to provide any solution, only stating we would have to pay out of pocket for an independent tech. As this is a total violation of our extended warranty, we are very disheartened, but left with no options. They will not attempt to provide any kind of support, even though they are the ones failing to produce technical assistance. The prorities of this business seem to lie solely with gaining a customer, then hedging out of any obligation, even at the violation of a warranty. Had I known none of these commitments would be honored, we would not have purchased anything from this location. I strongly caution any prospective buyers, unless you are prepared to shoulder and finance your own repairs. read more

This place is very unprofessional and Colette is not a very nice person and she has a attitude towards anyone who has any concerns about the way she is not communicating with her employees and treats the customer like they are the ones who are in the wrong and when asked for the Owner she immediately responds with we won't take that abuse seriously refuses to give the customer any way to contact the owner because she doesn't want them to know that she is causing problems and has caused a customer to feel like they are doing something wrong and she refuses to accept responsibility for she mistakes and wrongdoing and that is disgraceful and unacceptable and she needs to apologize to the customer and the owner needs to have a conversation with her about how she needs to improve her skills and communication with customers and do her job properly and not lose sales. So I Would love to give this place no star review But in order to post it, I have to at least do one star they don't deserve a one star review just based off the interaction with Collette. I will be taking my business elsewhere for a camper trailer. And if the owner of this business has any respect for their customers, they would most certainly want to contact that customer or customers and apologize to them for how they were treated instead of allowing a manager to not let the customer contact the owner, and in any other business and employee or manager would probably be fired for this on the spot or at least reprimanded to do their job better and not cost the company a sale and cost them a customer. read more

It is pretty telling that only 3months after we got our trailer from here the only people who are still around are Collette in finance and Dave who sits behind a desk. They have no staff. Zero service people because they all quit. They will not warranty work they performed and are completely nonresponsive. Features we paid to have them install didnt work first time we took the trailer out. Since they have no staff they wont fix it. I found a place to get it taken care of (since Dave doesn't do anything) and Collette lied to me saying it would cost them 1,000.00. It was really less than 300.00. I would like to share our experience with this company, MYRV IN EL CAJON, Ca. We were referred and since we walked up to the lot, we were greeted with our salesperson, Isaac. He was wonderful. Patient, knowledgeable and over all very warm and easy to talk/question etc. His personality just made all our experience choosing our rig exciting.
