The food is so good. Doesn't have heavy seasoning or sugar, so it tastes lighter than the food in most Mexican restaurants, yet it was cooked so delicious in a natural way! The salsa was the same way- more runny and light tasting- even my daughter who doesn't like salsa said it's really good. I think the food here's more healthy and home-style. We've been meaning to try this place for a while now and very glad we finally did. The food was excellent! Warm chips & good flavor salsa are complimentary if you dine in. I had 2 carne asada tacos and my husband ordered the special which was 3 chicken tacos with rice & beans. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back. They offer drive up service and the price was more than fair!!! We could not have eaten at McDonald's for that price. $13.50 for our entire meal, tip generously! The only recommendation I would make is to add diet Dr. Pepper. read more

Everything was delicious here. The head tacos were outstanding, and the tortillas were soft and pillowy. The flavor of the al pastor tacos could have been bolder, but they were still very tasty. The burrito was one of the best we have ever had, and the carnitas were so tender and flavourful. The green and red salsas did not disappoint. I've gone back again and am even more a fan. I'm a south Texas girl and, after my first visit, found myself revisiting my visit in my head. When I went back, I realized that besides good food and reasonable prices, the ambiance and flavors took me right back to my favorite hole-in-the wall South San Antonio. The staff was even as warm and welcoming as back home. Now if they just made breakfast tacos, especially Carne Guisada or bean and cheese. But nobody in the PNW makes them. One of our favorite places for Mexican food. Whether you get take out or eat in, this place will not disappoint. My favorites are the veggie tostada, the carne asada or fajitas and just their regular bean and cheese burrito. If you eat in, they serve your food with chips and a very flavorful salsa, its not very chunky with tomatoes and onions but the flavor is amazing. I also love the fact they have Coca Cola from Mexico which is a nice addition to a meal. We frequent this place in person, take-out and even door dash. Service is always friendly and helpful. On a bicycle ride and wanted lunch in Mt Angel.....something other than sausage for a change. This good Mexican food place is not in the heart of town, but on South Main. Easy to miss but the locals sure know it's there. Tasty Mexican food and lots of choices. Friendly staff was busy at noon on a summer Saturday but wait wasn't too long.
