Food was great. Servers were very nice and friendly. Service was fast once we were seated. It was hard to hear each other due to ambient noise. Could benefit from some noise reduction decor. The seating part was a little disorganized. There were many tables open but the host seemed to be helping with set up also so it took a good half hour to be seated. Overall, it was still a good experience.

Another amazing dinner at Oso with some friends. Had the combo plate tonight and it was great! Best part of tonight was the service! We had Sarah (new), and she was great! Service with a smile! Thanks Sarah for making our dinner with friends amazing! Keep up the great work!

Rustic bread order - do not skip this, especially the jam!

Wow! This place is a gem! It was a last-minute lunch stopover after a long hike at Silver Falls before heading up to the Portland airport. I got the grilled rustic bread and a Greek salad. Both were incredible, but the best part probably was the accompaniments to the bread. There was a slightly spicy jam that I wish I was eating right now (I dream of that jam!) I sat at the bar and there were at least three different people taking care of me, making sure I had eventing I wanted and needed.

So we ate here two months ago and I couldn't wait to get back here fast enough. The food was absolutely wonderful and amazing. I've been raving about it and telling everybody I possibly can or come in contact with about it. But unfortunately, two months later and my opinion has completely changed. The food was off. It was bland. and nowhere close to where it was two months ago when we first tried this place. We don't live in Silverton and we traveled a little distance to get there not to mention my parents came in all the way from by the Portland airport. It was my mother's birthday, and I took her out to dinner here since I had been raving about how wonderful it was. It was a huge letdown, especially for the amount of money that I paid. So if I'm gonna pay good money for something I expect a good quality product in return and this definitely fell short even the mixed drinks tasted like crap. They did mention that they were a little shorthanded and they had a brand new kitchen manager running the back of house so I guess that would explain some things but still that's not my problem. Say this is a small restaurant and there wasn't that many people in it and they had more than enough staff to run this place, but yet only the hostess seemed to really be working her ass off. The wait for our food was long my rice was hard and crunchy my steak had no sear or flavor my salad dressing was so strong with vinegar it was pretty uneditable the mussels were fishy and way to strong on the lemon the drinks were not tasty and refreshing like the last time we we're here. Oh yeah, and the peanut butter pretzel cheesecake wasn't very good either Hershey's chocolate milk sauce on a plate was pretzels that weren't crunchy and fresh but more wet and chewy and the cheesecake itself almost had a sour taste to it not what I expected from such a fine dining establishment. Not sure I'll be back here for a while. Maybe next time I'll just try a gyro because that seem seems to be more in their wheelhouse then the expensive steak or seafood they ruined. We also got a couple appetizers that I wasn't very fond of either the fried cauliflower add some spanakopita I've had much better spanakopita and the fried cauliflower was just weird. Whatever the sauce they had it in just really wasn't working it wasn't bad it just wasn't good either. So I had to edit my review this place did drop from a 5 star down to a 2 star, but with the reply backhanded apology that I got from the owner it has now dropped to 1 star. Because she felt the need to explain the dishes to me like I don't know anything about food or the troubles of how a restaurant is run. My mother is a great home chef I've been a professional chef for over 35 years. My stepbrother followed in our footsteps with a passion for food once he started living with us and he then graduated culinary school moved to upstate New York and has helped opened over a dozen stuck up restaurants like yours with fresh farm to table menus and with many of farms he shops from that I've personally visited myself not to mention all the local farm we have here that I've worked with in the past. But thank you for assuming I didn't understand the menu description and know nothing about food. As I can see I am not the only bad review that has touched on some of the same subjects I had mentioned. I am sorry if this review offended and upset you but it is my personal opinion and I am only speaking of my experience as I gave you 5 stars the first time I ate here but quality and consistency is key and this time you fell short. As I said the food wasn't horrible it just wasn't good and spectacular like it was on our first visit. And if I was you I'd try to get back your old chef that was running things right and offer him a huge bonus because you are now just riding on his coat tails so get him back or find another good chef before word gets out that the food suck now. And as far as you offering a free dinner after your snide remarks, no thank you and as to why nothing was brought up at the restaurant during my service is because I would never dream of sending anything back to the kitchen and upsetting the flow of the entire restaurant stressing out your cooks and possibly ruining everyone else's meal by or experience. Very unprofessional just like yourself. Say thank you. Have a good day and I doubt we'll be seeing each other again. Oh, and just to let you know since you were so proud of your burger that's not just a burger. My mother did say the burger was actually pretty good. It was just the chunks of gristle that she had to pull from the patty out of her mouth, that was the really nasty part for her. you should've just stuck with. I'm sorry you didn't have a wonderful experience. We all have a bad night. We strive for better and hopefully next time we'll live up to your expectations that probably would've worked out a lot better for you

Great place. AC. Great service. Amazing food with much flavor. Great cocktail menu and actually taste amazing

Decided to come have dinner here after learning that Guerra's was closed down, a few doors down. The meal was just "okay", nothing great. I ate more off my plate due to being hungry rather than the taste of the food. I ordered the feature Flank Steak Skewer Special. The steak was tough and a bit hard to chew. The side rice was really lumpy and flavourless. I ordered medium rare and some pieces were as ordered but others were well well cooked. Could have used more seasoning for sure! The Black Garlic Chimi-Churi was delicious though! They need to bottle that! Side salad with the house vinaigrette was good. Would I order it again? No!!! Service was great though and the place has a nice ambiance. Very pleasant place to gather with friends. That alone is what the three stars are for! Not many restaurants in Silverton but I honestly don't know that I would recommend this one. Will have to try somewhere else next time.

First time to this new restaurant and we were not disappointed. We chose to go here for a date night out and it was exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere had a blend of casual yet elegant which makes it great for any occasion. The food was fabulous. They really highlighted the best flavors of the Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Make sure to not skip the patatas bravas, they are a must have!

The stark difference in our second experience was night and day, making this visit truly exceptional. The cozy and romantic aesthetic of the restaurant remains fantastic, and the food and drink menu is still absolutely amazing. This time, however, we had the pleasure of being seated downstairs in Tiffany's section, and she was beyond stellar. Tiffany is the definition of exceptional service. She gave us a complete, helpful rundown of how they structure their tapas menu, offered fantastic recommendations, and was incredibly attentive throughout the evening. We had a great time chatting with her and her professionalism and warmth instantly made our return worthwhile. Her suggestions were perfect--she expertly helped us select a great wine and recommended the black ink pasta, which was a showstopper. Why do I seem to locate the most delicious foods in Oregon?…read more Not only did everything taste delicious and fresh cooked perfectly but across the street is the cutest grocery store that sells organic delicious food, drinks, and snack. But we will review them later *=* Back to the restaurant. Service was nice, for point price of food here, it would have been great if the server had asked if we wanted a refill on any of our drinks or if we needed anything else besides cleaning up our plates every chance they got when we were all still eating but resting between bites. I could loudly overheard the bartender and our server make a comment about my drink order. One other thing that was strange for us was how long it took someone to come over to get a drink order, while we looked over the menu. There were two servers and only two tables being occupied in the entire restaurant when we arrived since they had just opened. Towards the end of our dinner, the restaurant front manager came out. His name is Justin. Very nice person, asked how are meals and of everything was satisfactory for us. Now I could have mentioned the small little weird things but what mattered to me the most was spending time with my family. So maybe I might return or maybe not. Either way the restaurant itself was great! Food excellent but voicing your opinions regarding how people want their drinks or food when it is coming out of their own wallet should not be a topic for open discussion when the ordering person can hear the whole conversation. Justin please speak with your staff regarding timing. What is an appropriate length of time to allow guests to sit at a table. After watching two out of three servers walk past us so often I looked over at my spouse and wondered if we should find a different restaurant. So many layers, but thank you reader for sticking it out with me. Not sure why the little hiccup's happened but either way for a $217 bill and $30 tip service should have been better. This is just my own personal experience and opinion. Please check them out for yourself because everything we ate and drank was delicious. Mainly the front house issues. I too also use to be a server so I come from a different culture when dining.

There's plenty of tables and a long bar with ample seats. The service has been mostly good. The wine list is ample and the cocktail selection is massive. I haven't had a bad drink here. This most recent time, I ordered the 45 minute paella. I don't mind waiting with a glass of wine or cocktail for something that's a treat like paella. Sadly, when it came out it was disappointing. The seafood was cooked well but a little underseasoned. The rice was very bland. I'd chalk it up to someone having a bad night, but this is the second time I ordered the paella and was disappointed. Sad to say, there are enough better restaurants in Mac that I don't think I'll rush back here on my next trip to the area.
