This El Car Wash is definitely better than the one in West Boynton! That or it all depends on who you have working on your car. This one did a way better job than Boynton for sure! The one in Boynton usually missed the front bumper and I would have to constantly mentioned to them that "hey! Don't forget the front bumper please". That I or I'll just drive back around to another wash! I mean, I don't know how they can miss it, they're literally wiping it dry first! They always missed some spots inside the cabin and under my daughter car seat (now I just moved everything to the back for them to clean). And alway forget the door sill and the gas cap/tank area. For what they are charging, job should be atleast somewhat spotless. This one in Wellington did a pretty good job of cleaning my wife's car! Atleast 60-70% better. read more

Warning !!! El Car Wash in US 98 and Binks in Loxahatchee, FL does bad business practice. I canceled membership on Dec 2, 2025 at 5:00PM when membership expires at midnight and should have charged monthly $38.00 fee on December 3rd. It got worse as they charged me twice so I am in the middle of a dispute with CITI as $38 showed up on my bill on December 2nd and another $38 on December 5th. I stopped by in person to see Austin the manager on site where he promised it would come off. Its now almost 3 weeks. I will pursue with Better Business Bureau and Google Reviews. read more

I would give zero stars on this review if I could. My SUV got dented and paint was chipped. No one there speaks English very well. If you don't speak Spanish, don't bother. At first, they told me they were refunding my money. They did not. They showed me a video of my truck in the bay with 4 people all around the area. This is from 20 feet away from a top view. The video was chopped up and looked like it was sped up like the Keystone cops. The manager I spoke with kept saying, "See, no damage". There was damage. We dropped off my brand new mini cooper here because my dog likes the dog park and when she enters the car there is usually dirt on her paws and there is dirt and fur everywhere. But hey- it's my dog!! You drive up and pay. I asked for a wash and inside done. It was $30, or I could have joined a club and got all the washes I wanted for a month for $30. Bits it's not close to my house, so I did 1 time wash. Also you have to remember to cancel it or they auto bill you. You have to pay at the time you order for which car wash you want. Then you stay in your vehicle and drive your tire over these little balls and put your car in neutral. And these balls just move your car through the car wash. It was pretty cool. When you exit the car wash, you drive up to the lane they tell you to and then you get out and they continue to do the inside and vacuum and windows etc. I had to go to Costco so I left the car and informed them of my intentions. I came back 20 minutes later, and I took them a while to find my keys. Overall, the inside of my car was fabulously clean. They forgot the rearview mirror and on top of the display. When I called, they noticed they had "accidentally" set up 2 extra accounts in my name that had never been used. They offered to help refund that last 3 months but the customer service rep said that she "refused to refund me any more money" even though they had fraudulently been charging me for the past 15 months. Please make sure, when you use this company, they aren't charging you for additional accounts that never get used. I have been using Motor City Car wash since it opened around in 2009 or 2010. To say the least I was a loyal customer. They had a lot of the same employees up until it was sold. Those employees were hard working. The management had great systems in place that worked well they moved the cars through. You drive your car out of the wash and there is no one there to tell you where to go so cars back up unsure what to do. Then Motor City silt or changed to "El Car Wash." This places is the pits. Prices raised, service declined. Seems like most of the originals are gone, that speaks volumes for the current management. No customer service, gone are the hard working team members, there are a few left , but they are surrounded by lazy coworkers who walk around to avoid working. I went inside to inquire where to put my car and two people working were talking, they both looked at me as if I interrupted their conversation. About a month ago I came in at 7:45 for a wash and self-service interior. The cone was up at the front . I inquired about closing at 8:00 and got about three people who kind of ignored me. I had to get a manager to allow my car to be washed. Then the vacuum shut off mid-way through the job. If you are open, be open. read more

I'm surprised at all of the negative reviews given my experience this weekend. I've been tired of all of the pollen buildup on my car and decided it was time to take my car to a Carwash instead of doing it at home. The prices ranged from ~18-$25 for a basic wash and there is an up charge for interior cleaning. I went for a basic cleaning but got up sold on the interior cleaning for a total of $35 plus tax. The car wash itself is a drive thru, put it in neutral, classic automated experience. Once you're through, they direct you to a lane where an employee will towel dry you car, apply tired shine, and clean your interior. The interior cleaning took about 20 minutes and it was spotless. I keep my car pretty clean but they did a great job of getting all of the dirt, clean up some small pieces of trash etc. They also used some protectant on my hard surfaces and used leather condition on the seats. Overall, this was a good experience. The cleaning was so good that this is what I'd do before trading in car to make it ready for a sale. I'd give them 5 starts, but I felt rushed at the start of the cleaning to pick an option from one of the many choices and let myself get up sold in the process for sake of keeping the line moving. read more

I Tried cancelling my membership here three times in the passed four months due to soap residue being left on my car and the lackluster effort put into the interior cleaning. After being told my confirmation for cancellation would arrive digitally it never did and after contacting the business a second time to no surprise it didn't come the second time either. I then resorted to contacting the customer service for the third time to be finally after be put on hold for 25 out of the 40 minutes I was on the line. I was told due to employee fault my membership wasn't cancelled to which they offered a 109$ refund out of 267$ which I was not okay with only to be told there's nothing else to be done and that our conversation is going in circles and there's nothing else to be done. First my screen on my radio started glitching and then once I got home and started looking none of the cup holders were wiped or sprayed cleaned. The doors were not wiped, I wiped plenty of things with my finger that could come off easily with a wet rag... 0-10 do not recommend- save your money and time. Very disappointed they tried very hard to get me to sign up for monthly package and I even told the man "let me see how well they do today before I commit." Watch out! My husband asked for help to pay for car wash on machine. Employee signed him up for a monthly service. My husband said he didn't want monthly as we live 5 hours away and he said no problem, go in to cancel. They said we couldn't cancel for the month and got charged for the month. Just a horrible customer service experience. I've pulled up, told the guy I had a coupon and that I've never been here. He literally did not say a word to me put a number 12 and an X on my front windshield and told me I was good to go. I was a little frustrated and was like I wonder where the vacuums are because now the outside is clean I'd like to vacuum the inside. I called them back, but no one answered. I called several times so I decided to call another L car wash. The lady was very nice and had good customer service skills. She tried her best to curve the situation, told me that she was going to call the manager so I could come back and vacuum my car and that there was self-serve vacuums and also towels. I headed back to the car wash to pull into what it looks like the self-serve area to then find out that self-serve wasn't until 6 PM. By that time I was already surrounded by other cars being detailed. I even saw the guy that initially ran my coupon and didn't say anything to me and literally called him out on it and asked him why he didn't do his due diligence about letting me know about full service or that I couldn't vacuum my car at this time? he just kept telling me to read my coupon. These guys are crooks. Last month I took my car in for a detailed wash. It was $40+ dollars. The guy who wrote it up said that for an extra $1 I could get unlimited washes for a month. I said ok. I just got a notification that my credit card was just charged $48.13 as a recurring charge. The phone number listed for Motor City by my credit card company doesn't work. I called the store on St Rd 7. She said I signed for it and too bad. They'll cancel the ongoing charge next month. I didn't realize I was signing up for a monthly charge. I don't live near them any longer so why would I sign up for such a plan? The guys that take your order for a wash are always trying to add on extras. I've caught them a few times. I only got a basic wash, but was stuck behind other vehicles getting the inside done. There should be separate lines based on the level of service. They have the vehicles 3 cars deep to get finished but you have to wait regardless of what you're getting done. A 2 minute wash, 2 minute dry turned into a 30 minute experience with just waiting in line after the wash and trying to get in and out back onto state road 7. Beware the bait & switch and poor quality of service! They'll give you a coupon (for 50% off for their #3 full service in my case). If you add anything on top of that (e.g. interior), it invalidates the coupon and you pay at full price. I mentioned right when I asked for the #3 that I had the coupon. They of course up sold the interior cleaning, which I wanted anyway, but conveniently did not mention that adding the interior cleaning would invalidate the 50% off of the #3 service. Then they watched me look for my keys for a minute before showing me that they had them all along. On top of that, they misaligned my side view mirror, failed to clean my cup holders & entire center console, and left my rear door unlatched after finally giving me the keys. Not cool! I had two things I addressed needing to be done for my car and when I picked up my car both hadn't been done. Kind of disappointing. I pointed out spot of residue on the car and they then cleaned it for me. The person who cleaned it then clearly stood there looking for a tip which made me very uncomfortable. He mentioned it was his second day and the manager was mad that he (the employee) was working today. So off the bat, it was a very uncomfortable start. I had my car washed, vacuumed, and windows cleaned. I can see that the car was partially washed with spots and poop still present. The car overall was vacuumed quickly so much smaller debris was left. The windows are still covered in streaks and smudges. I don't recommend coming here as it was a waste of 24$. read more
