We used this food truck for like five years running at our summer event and it has always been a huge hit! The food is amazing, service is friendly, and they have options for different dietary restrictions. Get the Plantain Bowl and the yuca fries, you won't be disappointed! read more

Tried this food truck at the Kentwood food truck festival as it was a more unique option. I chose the beef empanadas and I was concerned it wouldn't be enough food for a meal but it definitely was! The pastry was surprisingly light and not greasy and the filling was delicious. Came with a tasty dipping sauce too. A friend got a plantain bowl and loved it too. Will definitely recommend this food truck if you come across it. read more

We hired El Caribe for our son's high school graduation party. Can't express how amazing the food was as well as how quickly they were able to serve a lot of guests. Super experience for us and will track them down again for future events. Everyone commented how great of an idea having the food truck was but even more how amazing their food was. Thank you again for making Cam's party so memorable. No they did not feed our golden retriever Tucker...he just wanted to say hello. read more

This has been my new favorite food truck in Grand Rapids lately! The staff is quick, efficient, and so friendly. We have found their truck at Food Truck Friday at Riverside Park and the Kentwood Food Truck Festival! We always get the empanadas and prefer the beef ones. The Yucca Fries are fantastic and enough to share as well. Both options come with great dipping sauces that really make the dish. Our first visit also included one of their sandwiches but it was pretty messy to have standing in a park so I'd probably get the bowl instead next time. The menu must change because the bowl wasn't an option when we went for a second time so we just got the empanadas and yucca fries, which was still fantastic. Give them a shot, you won't regret it! read more

We opened El Caribe food truck to share our Dominican culinary art with our community. I Chef Gilma DeLaCruz graduated from Secchia culinary institute in 2017, I grew up in the restaurant industry with my mom. It has alwas been my passion to create memories ad share culture with food
