Enjoyed a nice lunch for two. Got a booth quickly upon arriving with complimentary crispy tortilla Chips and plenty of salsa. Hot sauce options to spice up the meal on the table already. Craving tamales ordered the 3 tamale plate with beef. I was surprised by the amount the meat and cheese layered on top and not rolled inside the tamal. Plenty of food for two to split as an entrees. Small portion Refried pinto beans and Mexican Rice as expected kinda bland and not very warm at all upon arriving at the table. With only one other person in the restaurant and ordering only one entrees I expected faster service and hot food. The plate was the warmest part of the meal. The chimichanga description on the menu said deep fried. I'm picturing chi chi's deep fried. It wasn't deep fried. The rice was cold on the hot plate. The beans were warm. Not hot. I think I got 1/4 cup of ground beef in the chimichanga and it was ok in flavor. Nothing stood out. Not going back. $18.99 dinner was a no for me. Best part, chips and salsa. read more

I wouldn't come back here when there are so many other options in Midland. The servers were very friendly but when I asked a question I realized that she didn't speak English. She ran and got someone to translate. So I actually didn't order what I wanted because I knew she wouldn't be able to understand what I was saying. That's my fault ! My friend got the super large burrito and it was the size of a Taco Bell bean burrito and had no side dishes with it so I thought that was kind of expensive and he didn't like the food anyways. I got one of the vegetarian options and the bean burrito was like a small burrito I'd make at home with a can of refried beans. It also had a cheese enchilada that was like something I would make at home too. When we sat down and got the chips and salsa, I asked if they had a hot salsa also. The waitress went and got someone to translate who then ran and brought me a saucer full of hotter salsa that was good, but I wasn't told that it would be an extra $5 and didn't realize it until the bill came. The food is some of the most bland flavorless garbage I have yet had for Mexican food in Midland or Sanford. I though taste of midland was bad, then I ate here. Taste of midland is still trash but 7/10 compared to this place. 0/0 read more

Decent service but meal was awful. Salsa was basically puréed tomatoes-no flavor, no heat, no onions, jalapeños etc. ordered the chicken chimichanga and same no flavor and chicken was so tough I ate 2 bites and was done. read more

Not to bad this place is very small and overlooked in the Sanford area but the food is pretty good and fairly cheap I would definitely recommend this place nice atmosphere clean and the server was polite (I think he is the owner) also I would like to add my food was so hot I had to wait a few minutes to eat it I love that read more

Really good tacos berrias! Yummy!!! My granddaughter had a cheesy quesadilla and hubby had a Botana! Excellent service and as a special birthday celebration, they brought deep fried ice cream and a special sombrero for my granddaughter to wear as we sang to her! Nice job! Authentic place! read more

Hadn't eaten all day. Saw the yelp rating and thought it sounded good. No liquor license so no margarita. Order the Chile Polanos with Chicken. 85% of the meal was batter. No meat to speak of. A teaspoon of shredded lettuce. Nice guy but crap meal. read more
