Great food and service, the tostadas with chicken, grill chicken tacos, rice and beans are my favorites entrees

Food is great! Service of one server is terrible! She is rude and short with customers..... Clean and quick kitchen.

This sits exactly between three nephews and none of us knew it was here. Yelp actually suggested it and as a result we have the perfect digs for when we come to town. What a quaint, cozy little eatery. Perfect for a group of family or friends. This would be ideal for travelers looking for a quick bite or folks on their lunch break, staring down limited time to eat. The menu is quite extensive and the prices very affordable. Mostly variations on the standard for each item. Simply add or subtract. For example: Nachos (supremo, vegetarian, fajitas or botana) I have our group eating community style. Everyone orders a decent size meal and divides it nine ways. As far as I'm concerned everything tasted great, but I confess, my attention was predominately on fellowship with the kids. They've embedded pennies in the table. Poor little Tony was too young to understand that he can't get them. He tries, fails, forgets and tries again, about every twenty minutes or so. Hilarious. Maybe next time we meet we can fill the restaurant with family and poor Tony will find something different to fixate on. 03/25 read more

Delicious street tacos. Chicharon was my favorite, quite possibly the best I have had. I also had tripa and pastor. Alejandro's Enchiladas and chips with cheese was also delicious. Came in after church on Sunday and Staff were super friendly. Plenty of seating. Good options of booths and tables. Will definitely come back. read more

Stopped for dinner while camping with friends on a Sunday. We all enjoy Mexican food and we're looking for a new place to go. The Yelp ratings and reviews caught our eye so we thought we would give them a try. All of the food was was very good and it was all made from fresh, not frozen or ready made. I liked the fact that they had chips with mild salsa and a separate squeeze bottle of their hot sauce to zip it up a bit! I like it hot but my wife does not so that was great. We will definitely be back at some point in the future. read more

This small restaurant is a local favorite run by a very nice owner and her chef. The food is prepared very quickly, which is great for people swinging in from the highway for a quick meal. Portions are good sized. Prices are VERY reasonable. The menu is classic and basic, and the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. We had tacos and tamales, both which we enjoyed very much. The tamales were home-made, had a nice spiced center, and were very filling. Five star-worthy qualities: super friendly and attentive service, clean and tidy, a menu full of choices sure to please everyone and delicious homemade salsa and chips. Full disclosure: we are from southern CA and we know our Mexican food so we may have a very high bar. The food was freshly made, hot and appetizing when served. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. We had a combination plate with shredded chicken and chicken nachos. My husband and I agreed that both dishes were tasty yet not extraordinary. I went on a mission for about a year to find the best authentic tacos in michigan. I've stopped many places in the flint and surrounding areas and have been fairly disappointed. A friend recommendes this place and it is by far the best. They have tippas, chicharron, and a large menu. I have been back many many times and i havent had anything yet that wasnt absolutely amazing. 10/10. Service and atmosphere are great. read more

Yelp reviews drew us in...and we were not disappointed! We were just grabbing a quick small lunch so had 2 fish tacos (Mexican style - onions and cilantro) and the queso fundido with chorizo. Wow. Just wow. Complimentary chips and salsa? Yum. Fresh and tasty chops. Salsa fresh and perfectly seasoned (cilantro was just right)! Hubby said the fish taco was maybe the best he's ever eaten. (I thought it was good, but not as good as he thought. He ate the rest of mine and said mine was a bit fishier tasting than his was.) That said, for me, the chorizo was the best I've ever eaten. Flavor, texture, everything. And the cheese was delicious - and I especially loved the fried cheese "skin" on the bottom of the skillet!! And service was impeccable. Now this is the place in Saginaw for authentic, Mexican cuisine. Very fresh, fast and great service. I got the Choripollo and it was very creamy, great flavor and the perfect temperature. Hands down the best in Saginaw! read more

The food I bought was the hot tamales. They tasted so nasty. They tasted like cornmeal. So gross and they were burnt. Just disgustingly gross nasty. Please yall don't order the hot tamales from here. They have them other places for better quality and nicer customer service. They also made some baritta tacos with the liquid that you get with it was flavorless and it was clear. Now you know ain't no birria tacos suppose to have clear sauce with it. It suppose to have some color. I even showed my coworker. Who happens to be Mexican who said that it's not suppose to look like that. read more

OMGNESS! Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try with my mom. She realized it was the fish place she lived years ago but now an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was amazing! I had the Mega Plato: shrimp, chicken, steak, bell peppers and onions. It came with a special grilled cheese tortilla. It's was unbelievable. Mom got Enchiladas Del Mar: shrimp, chicken and crab with Tomatilla sauce! I haven't seen my mom eat like that in a while, she loved it! Homemade salsa and chips were fresh! One of my children was raving about how delicious and authentic this restaurant was. We drove over an hour to find out for ourselves. From the road, it doesn't look like much. When we entered, it was quiet and only two tables had customers seated. There wasn't anyone at the front to seat us. After a few minutes, someone came out of the kitchen and told us we could sit anywhere we wanted and disappeared again. The one waitress was moving quickly. Phone orders and carryout's were constant. When the waitress returned to our table, she handed us menus and took our beverage order. We received an apology for having to wait but we understood why and weren't in a rush. The restaurant isn't overly decorated. It's not dark or too bright. We received our beverages right after we ordered them. Our meals came out one by one so everyone of them were piping hot. Everyone ate everything on their plate so we left without leftovers. We definitely will be back. read more

I just discovered this place was here thanks to Yelpers. I had to try their carnitas plate. It is my benchmark for good Mexican food. Living in LA for 15 years has made me pretty picky. The carnitas was delicious! I ordered the biria tacos as well and it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and informative. I will be back often to try all of the wonderful options. read more

Great tacos de la calle (lengua, chorizo, fish, and birria), enchiladas verdes, and horchata. We got carryout and everything was fresh and ridiculously delicious. Shout out for the best horchata we've had in a while--not too sweet, nice rice flavor. Someone has made an effort with the decor (cool inlaid coins in the tables) and the whole place looked and felt very clean. Will definitely eat here again the next time we're in town. read more
