    Cinnamon roll

Best breakfast cinnamon roll ever. It's like cinnamon raisin bread rolled up with a spot of cinnamon butter in the middle. It's delicious and not too sweet. I warmed it up for 20 seconds in the microwave and had it with my tea. The Tres leche cake was really good too. I love all the different flavors of tres leche to choose from. I'll definitely be back to try more breads.

Some of the best pupusas I've had. Staff is always friendly, and there's usually a line, but it's worth the wait! This location is a lot smaller than the one in Van Nuys but it's clean and nice inside. I will say parking is limited, especially during the busier hours. Street parking is scarce.

SUCH GOOD FOOD!! the food, the drinks, the pastries, the pan dulce, everything here is so amazing! The customer service usually goes by really fast, depending on how long the line is. I also got one of their horchata's and it tasted amazing & was really refreshing. Been here a couple times already and the food is always being freshly made and it tastes amazing. This is definitely a place I keep coming back to! They have a small seating section, but I definitely recommend eating here!

Customer service of the lady who helped us was horrible. I wish the other young lady would have helped us. I have been following this place in IG and drove from LAX to give it a try. I was so disappointed with the service she gave us. Even after I told her it was our 1st time visiting. She seemed so annoyed & bothered by us. My husband said I should have just walked out & not bought anything. Didn't try the food. Champurrado was super hot, but okay, nothing special. Bread was good. But for the drive, price & and customer service, I'll take hard earned money to my local bakeries. I was considering returning to give the food a try. But no thanks. Unfollow for us.

Good papusas bad bread. Stale. Nice on the service - so overall pass on the bread. Not a panaderia at all.

It was right next door to my appointment and I thought I'd give it a try while waiting for my mom to finish up with her pedicure. They are $3.50 per tamale and it took approximately 10 minutes for my order of two to come out. I think they were steaming them. The restaurant was quite large and there was only one other customer there at about 4 PM on a Thursday. They had the ARV playing on the TVs and have bar seating. The service was friendly. Tamale is 8.5/10: it's packed with a lot of really fun, filling items, like a green bean, potato, olive, and hominy with white meat chicken. The chicken is a little bit dry. But the tamale is very flavorful!

Traditional Salvadorean Cuisine in the SFV!…read more Our first time trying Salvadorean food at this family owned restaurant in Reseda. Carlos gave us some great recommendations so we ended up trying pupusas for the first time. It's made with a homemade corn dough. It's thicker than a regular corn tortilla and stuffed with ground pork and cheese. They have a variety of fillings. You can add salsa roja, a flavorful tomato-based sauce or habanero sauce. Served with Curtido, a tangy, fermented cabbage slaw. So crispy, cheesy and filling. It came burning hot - I could barely hold it. But, I would definitely order this again! We tried Desayuno Típico, a traditional Salvadoran breakfast, which came with casamiento (beans and rice mixed together), Salvadorean style chorizo, fried plantains, 2 eggs, avocado, fresh cheese and Salvadorean style sour cream and homemade corn tortillas. The pupusas were the highlight fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The curtido and salsa complemented them really well, adding just the right balance of tangy and spicy. You can tell everything is made with care and traditional recipes. We also tried the Torta Hula Hula, which was absolutely delicious and loaded with flavor. On top of that, the empanadas de frijol and empanadas de leche were both amazing perfectly made and seriously satisfying. We also checked out some items from the bakery, and they did not disappoint. The bread was soft, slightly sweet, and tasted incredibly fresh, perfect with a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's the kind of place that feels like home cooking rather than a typical restaurant. If you're in the Reseda area and looking for authentic Salvadoran flavors, this place is definitely worth checking out. We'll absolutely be coming back.

The location is a bit hard to get to - you can see it from Sherman Way but it's located at the end of a small side street that parallels Sherman Way - it's basically a small shopping center at the end of the street with a bunch of apartments. I missed the turn in the first time around and thought there might be a back entrance around the alley but there's NOT, it's just one way in and out of the lot, off the small side street. The staff here are very friendly and helpful in answering my questions. It was Wednesday and they had a special on the tacos and the 3 pupusas. We ordered 4 tacos - two carne asada and two pastor, the carne asada plate with salad, yuca and chicharron, 3 chicharron pupusas, and the Jamaica drink. It was way too much food. I enjoyed everything, and my top favorites were the pastor tacos and the pupusas. The pastor was so flavorful and perfectly cooked! The pupusas were so good I forgot to take a photo. The combination of crispy edges, light and airy dough with the perfect amount of firmness, and the generous chicharron filling with the curtido - omg so, so good! I will definitely be back to get more pupusas and try their other dishes! They also offer a Mina's Box which is basically a to go lunch box and is a great deal. There's limited parking in the shared lot.
