los camarones a la diabla
Tammy H.

This spot was a random lunch hit on a work day and it was a little disappointing. The service was friendly and the menu had a lot of variety for whatever you may be craving, but my dish was not enough to make this a 5 star experience. I always order los camarones a la diabla when I dine at mexican restaurants that offer it and this dish was so odd compared to so many of this dish I have had. Honestly, it was disappointing because the server said the shrimp was grilled and then sautéed with the diabla sauce that he said would be pretty spicy and it was far from that description. The sauce was definitely not spicy and the shrimp were saturated in the sauce and not grilled at all. Tasted quite bland with a small salt kick. The rice it came with was undercooked and the fries were sadly the highlight because they were at least hot and crispy. Definitely not what's typical for the sauce and plate side options... First time I was not offered traditional sides with this dish. Overall, the experience was ok at best.

Bean & Cheese Dip Negra Modelo

Mole! Absolutely delightful. The wait person was sweet, and brought salsa and chips to greet me with an ice cold Negra Modelo! Traditional menu with tons of choices. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was moderately full at 2pm, obviously locals. The restaurant is clean and the music is at just the right level of mariachi. I ordered the enchiladas mole and they did not disappoint. The sauce had a proper kick! This is not your supermarket glass jar mole. Fantastic. I'll be back.

This place is a hidden gem. It's beautifully decorated inside. Ambience is The food was delicious and fresh. I had the shrimp ceviche, asada tacos, and my husband had the shrimp empanadas. Everything was so good! Not to mention the service was accommodating and fast. Will be coming back.

Pretty unassuming place from the outside. Inside is a whole different ball game. Very festive and somewhat eccentric. Staff was very friendly and very fast. The ambiance is very bright and flamboyant with small touches of weird. The music was way too loud. I couldnt have a decent conversation without shouting. Not sure why restaurants do this some times. My girl thought it was to move people out quicker because they cant talk. My thought was that they dont have the speakers close to where the employees hang out. The chips were free but pretty stale. It was Saturday morning. Salsa was good and had some zing to it. I ordered a carne asada burrito combo. Burrito was really good. The refried beans are a little thinner and runnier than most places which made them much better IMO. No pepper at any tables. My girl got the Breakfast Cazadore and it was great. Water was cold and refilled often. Overall, its pretty middle of the road. Prices are higher than average and food is about average. The inside is pretty cool and the staff and service are above average. I would recommend El Cazadore

So much meat!I actually had to remove some to get to my homney

Found this place on Postmates. I didn't go there,I got my posole delivered. Both the service and food was great. Two bowls full of meat, and plenty of homney. I was pleasantly surprised they served it up super hot,and just tasteful. I totally recommend this place for posole. So good, and perfect for a cure for a hangover lol plenty of sides:onions, cilantro, cabbage, radishes, and chips with salsa. All delicious and very resonable price. Thank you for getting my order correct and delivered to me nice and hot.

Food seemed like it was thrown together, and service was really slow. We will not be returning.

It's about a 10-minute drive from the Strip, and I appreciated that they gave an estimated pickup time -- that was awesome. The place looks family-owned, nice and clean, and the hospitality from the staff was top-tier. Now for the burritos We ordered the El-Trio and the Bacon Burrito, and my goodness... these things are HUGE (and the prices is beyond reasonable). We split the bacon burrito between my wife and my high school athlete of a son (who usually eats everything but the kitchen sink), and he only made it through half of the El-Trio! That should tell you something. The burritos were flavorful and packed with meat. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly, which is such a plus. Honestly, by far the best breakfast burrito I've had. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my bacon burrito had rice and beans in it, and that wasn't mentioned online. I'm not a fan of rice and beans in a breakfast burrito, so I wish I had known beforehand. Outside of that, please give this place a visit -- definitely a must-try. Sorry, no picture... we started digging in as soon as I opened the bag

During the day you might need to place your order by a stand by the entrance to the kitchen. After a few trips here since my last review I have to admit that this place is HIT or MISS. Honest it is like two different restaurants are in this one spot. All of my lunch visits were horrible. We've experienced the worst service ever and subpar foods. On my last visit we were the only customers in the dining room and we were too much trouble for our server to handle. It took her 25-30 minutes to serve us beverages and chips and salsa. When our meals finally arrived the meats were all dried out and tough in all of the tacos. My salad came out without dressing too. At the same time they had a few to go orders going on and all the people returned their food and asked for their money back. This is so tragic. We previously enjoyed the food and service here our last few dinners. The young male server gives outstanding service and so far the food has also always been good-great at dinner time. Lunch time visits were another story. On both lunch time visits we had female servers that have a language barrier and are not service people. They brought us subpar food too unlike what we tried here at dinner time. I am being generous leaving Asada three stars. I hope it's not too late for improvement. Hit or Miss

Fortunately for my…read morewaistline, Martin and Evelyn's taco truck isn't near my house, because if it were, I'd be a Grande Gordo in no time. I debated between the torta and the tacos, but since this was our first date, I played it safe and ordered the carne asada tacos. At $3.25 each, they're street taco-sized in theory, but the mountain of perfectly seasoned carne asada spilling out of them told a different story. I actually had to ask for a fork just to finish what escaped onto the tray. The tacos came loaded with fresh cilantro and red onions and tasted far more gourmet than their humble appearance suggested. The red and green salsas were both excellent, but the real star was their pico de gallo-style salsa. It had a slightly fermented tang that instantly reminded me of kimchi, and I found myself putting it on everything. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Next time, I'm skipping the internal debate and going straight for the torta.

Yelp Review 2025 #206:…read more Los Gorditos is a food truck that serves some amazing birria tacos. But that's not the only thing they have. They have grilled chicken (pieces or whole), tortas, sopes, burritos, tacos, churros, nachos, huaraches, tostadas, birria ramen, quesabirria, pizza birria, menudo, mulitas, asada fries and ribs. Meat choices include lengua, asada, pastor, buche, birria, pollo, cabeza, and chorizo. You can find them on Craig and Simmons. In the same parking lot as Chevron and Lucky 7's bar. They're grilling meat on site so you can them hot and fresh and it smells delish! I got their 3 birria taco combo that comes with garnish and consommé. Tender meat that's flavorful on its own. Dip it in the consommé and it's just absolutely amazing! Service was friendly and fast. They are proud of the food they serve and it shows. Pricing is very reasonable.
