    California Burrito

I'm from San Diego so I was hesitant to try their California burrito but it exceeded my expectations! 10/10 Just fries, pico, and carne asada. I always add guac to elevate the burrito. This place is a small business and is right next to a gas station. Would recommend!

Chairs are ok as are the tables, but the food is delicious. Great chicken chimichanga and fish taco and fries! Service is quick. It's a diner environment!

My daughter was craving a breakfast burrito and I don't say no to those myself. I saw this place had good reviews so we decided to try it. She ordered hers with sausage, bacon and no potatoes and she loved it. I ordered the steak and eggs but also tried El trio burrito. The steak one was good but felt like it needed more meat. The trio was overpowered by the chorizo and bacon so it was a little more salty than I expected. The salsas were all pretty good with the 2 red ones having a little heat. I'm open to trying more things there in the future.

The asada tacos had a ridiculous amount of flavor. It was so good. I tried the viral green chili burrito and it was amazing. The meat here is fresh and never frozen. Great atmosphere, clean restaurant. Jennifer and the staff are so friendly. Glad i found a new alternative to those other places.

I feel like this place has potential . The chicken taco was good , the burrito arrived cold and the ingredients inside were not mixed in very well. I'm confused how as to how I live down the street and the taco was hot and burrito was cold. Didn't feel safe eating cold food so it was a waste of $25.

I placed an online order before driving over and it was ready before the estimated time given on the website. The chicken enchilada plate, shrimp burrito, and birria tacos were all huge and very tasty. There was enough food for two adults to get two meals, which is a great value. Good variety of salsas available in the shop (green tomatillo was my fav), and the birria consume was great for dipping too. The pineapple agua fresca was very refreshing!

Burrito Tyme is a little hole in the wall kind of Mexican and Mexican Breakfast Restaurant. Burrito Tyme is located in North Las Vegas with a gas station. It's a little place but they sure offer a lot! Besides all the tacos, tostadas etc...They offer combo plates, fajitas, cheeseburgers, weekend menudo, and more. Mostly soft bottled or canned beverages our offered. You can do takeout or dine in at one of the tables inside. We tried a variety of things. I tried an asada taco, a chicken taco, and a fish taco. All the tacos were well stuffed. They all were larger than I was expecting them to be. They were all double shelled white corn tortillas. You fix them up with the salsa bar. They had all kinds of goodies there like radishes and pickled carrots. All the tacos were at least good. I think the asada was actually better than that well known popular place with a location not too far away near SNS Diner. But I really liked the fish taco the best.....It was different than other fish tacos I've tried. Instead of a smoky chipotle sauce it had a Mexican tartar sauce that was tasty and the fish was fried so perfect and had a crispy exterior. I tried a bite of the chile relleno. It was different to me but better than from a lot of places because it had a lot of gooey cheese and was made with a fresh roasted poblano. The people there were very nice and helpful. If you like Mexican food you should give them a try when in the area.

It's still mostly like Hummus Republic but now offers SIX Indian Fusion Dishes. It's a bit different than it used to be and Indian Music fills the air. I thought we'd start off by sharing the Pani Puri Appetizer because they usually are the most delicious appetizers in Indian Restaurants. They weren't made to their description on menu or even the way pani puri are in every Indian restaurant anywhere. On Hummus Club's own menu they say that the pani puri are suppose to be filled with potatoes, chick peas and onions. Ours weren't filled with that and instead had cabbage, corn, tomatoes, lettuce, and tamarind sauce. The water on the side to fill them was much thinner and less herbed than I ever had anywhere else. The biggest fault might have been my husband's build your own bowl. All the food was barely warm and bordered on being cold. I don't know if the equipment is not functioning correctly or possibly they set up in a hurry and just didn't heat up the food? Either way this is a problem. I tried the chicken tikka masala bowl. It was suppose to be served with yellow rice but they gave me white rice. This bowl was made fresh and wasn't the best but was a lot better than my husband's bowl. They also only had one person working. She made the appetizer after our bowls. If they couldn't put something in a dish that should be in a dish (pani puri missing potatoes and chic peas ) I would understand if someone cared to take the time to say something to me.

I really liked how all the flavors just popped. Taste very authentic. Restaurant was nice and…read morecleaned. I ordered the fusion pack which included chicken tikka masala and a samosa.

The place is nice and clean, appropriately decorated in accordance to the name, good ambiance and taste of music (seems mostly 80's-ish), and plenty of seating. This particular business appears to be ran by a local family even though their is more than one establishment of the same name. Not really understanding the concept of being called a cafe when its more of a diner operation. I have not tried their other location on Craig Rd. I always try to support local businesses, of course! Staffing/service were all nice, friendly, and professional, food came quickly. No complaints there. I ordered the breakfast combo with a biscuit and gravy instead of the pancakes. Eggs over medium. This was an ok meal. Certainly not the best but it hits the spot. The gravy was good and thick with a nice peppery flavor, texture was on point. Didn't care for the biscuit, though. Crumbly and dry with the same taste and ingredients as the pancakes. These are not homemade. Bacon was rubbery and chewy. I tend to like my bacon crispy to the bite. I keep forgetting to request it that way, doh! Although, I honestly feel this is low quality bacon....just saying. All in all, I feel the service and ambiance is there but for this meal itself seems to fall short, especially, for the price. Now I know why I see mailers for this place every month since this place can get spendy! This meal cost over $21 without beverage (I got water), a bit too steep in my honest opinion considering other available options. That's including the sales tax (of course) and a tip. Apparently, they also add an upcharge percentage for using plastic...mine was $.71, bummer. Upon first impression, an ok place to go to eat and socialize with good service but expect to pay more than the average here for ok quality food. Oh, yeah, and bring cash to avoid the unexpected upcharge. 3.5 stars.

The explanation in the receipt states as follows: ' Service Charge? This is not an additional fee, the total here is the tip you gave to the team." Shouldn't I as the customer be given the option to provide a tip if I choose to do so? This is automatically added and I bet most people don't even bother to check that it was added.
