It's difficult to find sushi in arvin but this place does a good job offering different sushi options with a Mexican twist. The restaurant is super clean, and staff is friendly. I asked to order a vegetable w/ avocado roll (without any seafood/fish) and they were super sweet and made one. We ordered to go and they added spoon/fork/napkin individually wrapped. The chile and grilled onions were a plus to this meal and added a slight of spiciness.

Delicious mariscos and Mexican-fusion sushi rolls. Had the Buffalo shrimp fries, Habia and Spicy rolls, and strawberry lemonade. All very good.

Even so, we were seated at our preferred outside table within 30 minutes. It was crowded but the team is efficient. Our table outside had beautiful views. Our server came immediately to ask for drink orders and questions about the menu. She was very kind and made our dining experience excellent. We ordered: 3lb rock crab special $60 as of 8/2926: 5 stars! The crab was sweet and delicious. They serve the crab heads cleaned so if you want the tomale, be sure to mention when ordering. It was a treat to eat seafood at its origin; the taste was exceptional. Lobster pasta: acid forward with a good amount of lobster Dozen Laguna oysters: excellent Lobster bisque: rich and buttery, very good Fried combo: our least fave, ymmv! Kids meals are available. Highly recommend for the ambiance and food quality. The 800m walk to the end of pier is fun with lots of historical tidbits. Happy eating!

Between the great service, incredible ocean views, watching the people dive into the ocean and the consistently delicious food, it's an experience you don't want to miss. This visit, I tried the Laguna oysters. Our server mentioned they're on the saltier side, and they definitely were. My boyfriend loved them, but I personally prefer the smaller, sweeter oysters. It really comes down to personal preference. We also ordered our usual clam chowder, which is hands down one of the best I've had. It's packed with clams, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. We couldn't leave without getting the scallops and uni as well. Always fresh, simple, and always excellent. The combination of fresh seafood, unbeatable waterfront views, and consistently great food is why we keep coming back. Already looking forward to visit number five

Just gotta drop a star because our waitress was a bit short and irritable, and the food was really nothing crazy amazing. Ended up having the shrimp and lobster fries appetizer which was pretty yummy, the shrimp on it is the best part. Even the kids loved the fries and ended up also splitting a chicken sandwich that was pretty basic, but cooked well and had a tasty bun. Wife and I split a pastrami burger, and gotta say the pastrami was really good, that was a great choice. It had a bunch of creamy cheese sauce on it as well and was gone in seconds. Ambiance was fine, place was really clean, and service was SUPER QUICK. One critique is when we asked for extra plates to split out food, the waitress told us they were out of plates because they used them all on the party that was in there. This was at max a party of 10, and the restaurant had to only have 10 more people in it total. Kinda weird to be out of plates at 20% capacity... she did end up getting us additional "trays" to use. Totally fine, just a bit odd. All in all, if you need some quick grub, stop in here on your way through. Price was pretty fair, 2 burgers, and an appetizer with ice teas for $50. Decent.
