not a whole lot I can say with it being Carl's Jr, but it is the little things and the basics that matter and as long as it's done right, then it's perfect. fresh lettuce and tomatoes not soggy or wilty or old. meat was fresh even the fries were perfectly tasting. We were on a road trip, and needed some breakfast before 9 am. Everything else was pretty much closed. My husband and I both enjoy Carl's, so we were fine with it. Service was quick and ambiance was busy, since it was the only place at the stop that was open aside from McDonalds. I had a lettuce wrapped double cheeseburger and my husband had a double Famous Star. We shared onion rings. Everything was great. The bathrooms were also very clean. Stopped by to have a quick late lunch after gassing up and heading home. Ordered through the drive-thru there was no one there. I've always enjoyed their hand breaded chicken tenders so I ordered that 3pc only. I ordered my daughter the chicken nugget happy meal and ordered a famous star meal for my husband. After paying I got my drinks and I was told to park just straight ahead because the chicken tenders would take 3 mins. Not sure why I was told to park when there were literally no cars. Just alittle after 7 mins had passed someone came out and brought our food to us. The chicken tenders were hot fresh out the fryer. A bit disappointed that they didn't give us the ranch sauce that I had requested for my tenders and for my daughter's star nuggets. Rude, rude, rude. Never again. I know this type of location mainly sees road-trip traffic rather than repeat customers, but that should never be an excuse for poor service. My husband's fries sat on the pass so long they were cold, so we asked for a fresh, hot order. While waiting, I stood there and watched at least seven orders of fries go out. I asked if I could please have just one order, and was told there were "other customers ahead of me." Cold food, dismissive service, and zero effort to fix a simple mistake. Dropped by as a quick eat. Manager Carlos and staff were super friendly! Both had a very positive and friendly demeanor . Carlos was so attentive you'd think you passed by a sit down family restaurant instead of a fast food restaurant. Wow it's been awhile since I've had Carl's Jr. I have been missing out. This fast food spot is 2nd to only in-n-out with quality burgers. They truly hit the spot especially when you are on the road. While other fast food places have had massive price increases, carls has also stayed about the same. I love dipping their big double cheeseburgers in the Buffalo sauce as well to add a little spice. First time at this location (long time customer of the chain) last week. Good location among many other stores and gas stations for a traveler to stop. My sister and I were the only our way home and a Famous Cheese with fries hit the spot! The interior was mostly clean and in need of a little updating. The walls had some nice local images which was nice. The man (manager?) that took our order and served us was very pleasant. The drive-the was really busy but our order was not delayed in getting to us sitting inside in the nice air conditioning on a very hot day. Was greeted when I came in and my order was taken right away by a really great cashier whose name I unfortunately did not get. Dining room was very clean, an employee mopped it two times while my family ate. Restrooms were also very, very clean which is surprising for a restaurant off a busy highway. I needed gas and was pretty hungry while driving from Los Angeles to Central California. Carls Jr was near and the most logical option for Laval Road East (Laval West has an In N Out). I stopped by for a quick snack, ordering the smallest hamburger and fries. The food was exactly what it was, fast food. However, the woman working there was absolutely the sweetest person. She was patient (it took me a minute or so to develop my order). She was ebullient and timed my order for my restroom break. And she was smiling.
