When ordering the lady asked my boyfriend if he was okay with cilantro, onions, rice okay in the burrito and he omitted the beans. One thing she never asked is we wanted hotsauce on the food. Because when I got my tacos and he got his burrito, it had hotsauce. I think this is something they should ask if you want when you are ordering. What if someone is ordering for a kid and they don't like hotsauce. I say this cos I don't like hotsauce. My boyfriend had to bring to back and they have new tacos with no hotsauce. Another thing that is a hit or miss here are the chicharon. Our chicharon was both crunchy and soft. I noticed it depends what time of day you go and you also know by how much chicharon they have left (you can see it on the display). I like how they have the toppings in a little bar where you can get (hot sauce, pickled jalapeños, cilantro and onions). It is a small restaurant. They have some seats indoor and outdoor. And they even have a tortilla lady in the corner making fresh tortillas.

WOW! I missed by state's food...El Colima is so awesome. Good food is hard to find, even harder is authentic Colima style cuisine. I love EVERYTHING I have eaten here. Even the chile rellenos...my girlfriend says they are the best she has ever had. The pozole is white, like in Colima and how I like it. The sopitos, gorditas are the best. Aguas frescas are made daily and feature exotic fruits like tuna de nopal, pepino, sandia, pitaya and of course jamaica and horchata (real horchata, not that overly sweet pocho crap). waiter, cooks and owner are super cool, friendly. They take their restaurant very serious. my mouth is now watering, craving their pozole! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, GO AND SEE WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN MISSING! El Colima has become my daily go to lunch place. Staff is friendly as can get, i usually always order Camarones Puerto Vallarta. The beans and rice are astonishing. I can seriously taste the homemade food. The red dark salsa has my mouth on fire!! But it is addictive. I want more of it. Carne asada is delicious as well as there flautas combination plate. Prices are unbelieveable you can literally go in with $5 and get a whole dinner meal. I love this place it is nothing compared to the previous restaurant.
