    Carne Asada Fries
    Diego s.

What a great experience! This spot is open late and serves some of the best fast food-style meals around. This time, I tried the asada fries, and they were seriously delicious. They had just the right amount of cheese, guac, and sour cream, and the portion was generous and filling. The fries were loaded with plenty of meat, which I really appreciated. The sauces aren't anything over-the-top, but they pack a nice kick that pairs well with the fries. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality and portion size make it worth it. The workers are friendly, and my favorite part is that they even have a drive-thru -- super convenient!

A bitten bean and cheese burrito ... of course by my son.

Service was great and the restaurant was clean. Friendly staff and gave out all utensils and salsa needed. Food was a little bland . My sons bean and cheese burrito was good in size and taste. The alpastore fries were good but needed a little flavor salsa or more sour cream would have been good. Portions where spot on. The taqitos were on the stale side. Portions once again are spot on. Food was not bad just feels that it sat all day maybe. No seasoning on those taqitos . Will give them another chance cause the price was very reasonable.

Stopped to get an oil change and decided to grab some lunch while we waited. Directly across from Jiffy Lube is Castaneda's Mexican Food. It's a small fast food like place. The food was ok, but definitely nothing special. But as a special little treat I got a surprise in the last two bites of my taco! A decent size piece of plastic wrapping of some sort. We took it to the piece of plastic to the person at the counter and didn't seem to be too big of a deal. Maybe they are accustomed to adding this to their meals. Needless to say we will not return this establishment.

I was there enjoying them with a beer and good conversation. We were taking our time eating and enjoying our drinks; the aguachiles were not the only thing on our table. While we were still eating, someone from the kitchen came out and asked if he could take our plate. We politely said no thank you because we were still working on it. A few minutes later he came back and insisted on taking the plate, saying something along the lines of, "A clean table makes a consumer buy more," but the way it was said came across as rude and made us feel rushed. If the plate had been mostly empty, with just a couple of pieces left, I would have completely understood. But that wasn't the case -- I had only eaten about 2-3 shrimp out of a dozen. I shared how I felt, explaining that I understood clearing finished plates, but we were clearly not done. His response was dismissive and he walked away. The food had potential, and the aguachiles had good flavor, but the service experience left me disappointed. Sometimes giving guests a little time to enjoy their meal, conversation, and drinks makes a bigger difference than having a perfectly cleared table.

No potatoes, no bacon, nothing that made it feel like a premium burrito. The taste was ok, flavorful, the chorizo and eggs were cooked well however it was very greasy. It was just a pretty standard breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, the price completely overshadowed the experience. For me, it just isn't worth $17. I left feeling like I paid way more than what I received, so I won't be coming back.
