This isn't my first review for El Colorado Tire and Wheel but they deserve another 5 star review. I have been coming here for 12 years due to their timely service, good customer service, willingness to make things happen for their customer, and their ability to right any wrongs that may occur. Today I went in looking to finance four tires due to having an AWD vehicle. It is a Sunday so I figured the owner Hector wouldn't be there but I trust the integrity of this team and went in. I was approved for financing but unfortunately due to some card issues, we weren't able to get the down payment to go through. As a single mom of 4 this stressed me out immensely because my tread was so worn down the wires in the tire were showing. Jose the manager was helping me throughout the whole process and being very supportive. Between him and Hector, they were sure I left with tires and are working with me through the financing process. These men go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I live 30 minutes away from them but will continue to go out of my way for their amazing service and Hector's ability to always make it happen with integrity and dignity for myself. Sold me a used tire with a hole in it. Brought it back 24 hours later since it wouldn't hold pressure and they insisted that I had caught a nail within that time frame when I watched them locate the hole without one. The plug is on the outer side of the tire which is unsafe and sent me on my way. Told me it was "good as new". Used to only go here now I'm never going back. read more

I was sick on the side of the road with a flat tire, and when I called around they were the only ones who were able to do a mobile repair. They sent a nice man who helped take off the flat and put on the spare, and followed me back to the shop where they're were able to patch the hole in the flat tire. I was really appreciative they were able to send someone because it was cold and snowy and i just couldn't get the spare on myself. read more

When I arrived, the owner claimed to have no idea of our conversation but he sure did have a set that was $200 plus more expensive that he wanted to sell me. I've been coming to these guys since last July for mounts, discounts, plugs, etc. Last week I brought a bent rim and asked if they knew of any repair shops. They confidently said they could do it and that I could pick it up the next day. On pickup everything seemed okay and I left. A few days later I mounted a tire and it was extremely wobbly. I brought it back to El Colorado and they basically told me they did the best they could and offered me no help or even a partial refund. They blindly took my money without confidence in their repairs, and never even checked to see if the wheel was straight again. I told them I wouldn't be coming back and they couldn't care less. I like this small tire and wheel shop. You can often get service without an appointment or a crazy wait. They'll patch tires and swap tires and sell tires. I once took in a broken wheel to have a tire swapped on to the new replacement wheel. I forgot my ornamental center cap on the broken wheel. When I went back the next day they had saved it for me. I have been a customer of ECTW for years. My car is my livelihood and anytime I have an issue they get me back on the road quickly. Hit a nasty pothole yesterday that blew out my tire and damaged my wheel badly. They had tires for me and fixed my bent wheel. They even touched the paint up in all of my wheels and it no longer looks like I am the official "curb checker" of the metro area. My car was having speed wobbles that are gone since having the wheel repaired. Fair pricing, great service, and genuinely nice guys who care.
