The Haven is a 125 capacity space with brick walls and wood laminate floors. It's a pretty cool picture when you walk in. The Haven used to host all sorts of music but in recent times they've dialed back on hosting hardcore punk shows because people can't control themselves. But if you're interested in all sorts of alternative bands there's still something here for you. Absolutely no alcohol on premises but you can get water. Security is pretty cool and aren't afraid to kick folks out for acting a fool. Parking is anywhere you'd park if you were going to the Fox or Glass House. The Haven is an awesome venue and I hope they start to host hardcore punk shows more often but I don't blame for putting down a pause. That said the sound is real good and it's an awesome place to see your favorites up close. Check their IG for upcoming events if this sounds like your vibe. Highly recommended!

I started coming here April of this year and will never stop coming back to see shows here. The Haven is like a second home!!

We get wristbands and assigned a table. We were told to wait in another line but we were let in shortly after. We bypass the 80's bar and go to a back room to make it feel like a "speakeasy." They gave us some ground rules and led us to our tables. At the table you have a QR code where you can place drink orders. The bar brings out your drinks to the table. Service was fairly quick and friendly. The drinks were all sweet cocktails and in the "Matterhorn Lodge" theme. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. If you're a butterfinger or peanut butter fan, there was one drink that tasted like it (you'll see it on the drink menu). I wouldn't say the drinks were strong. They do a good job of enforcing the theme. They had a "Yeti" come out and interact with the tables. Good for photo ops. They also had a magician doing a few tricks, and I enjoyed that the most. The place was kept fairly chilly! Even the bathrooms had jokes and signage on the walls that alluded to the alps. Overall a great time. Small venue but pretty chill. Can be pricey. Take a sweater. Good for dates and small groups.

The Set Speakeasy hidden inside the 80s bar is one of those spots that nails the concept right up…read moreuntil the cocktail hits your lips. Finding the hidden entrance is always fun, and stepping away from the neon-heavy arcade energy outside and straight into a moody, southern bayou atmosphere was honestly a really cool touch. The low lighting, dim decor, and secluded vibe set high expectations for the rest of the night. Unfortunately, the bar program didn't quite keep up with the ambiance. When you walk into a dedicated speakeasy, you expect carefully crafted, balanced drinks with some depth and fresh ingredients. Instead, the cocktails felt a little rushed, overly sweet, and missing the refined craft you look for in a place like this. For the price tag on the menu, the execution just fell flat. The staff was friendly enough and the novelty factor is definitely there, but the drinks missed the mark. I'm glad I checked it out to see what the buzz was about, but since the cocktail quality didn't match the cool environment, I don't see myself heading back anytime soon. Solid three stars for the aesthetic alone.

We were wearing tank tops and got denied entry at first for no real reason. It felt weirdly targeted and just left a bad taste before we even got inside. Once we got in (after realizing we were actually in the wrong line), the place was dead. Like... no one dancing, barely any energy, people just sitting around. It felt awkward more than anything. They also charge $30 cash only at the door. No credit cards. If you don't have cash, you're stuck using their ATM. That alone was annoying. Most of the tables were reserved and overall the vibe just wasn't it. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend it either. If you're choosing between this and the club next door, go to Flexx Nightclub instead. Way more fun and actually feels like a club.

But when we got outside their very large security grabbed my brother from the front of his neck and pushed him back. I wish I was exaggerating. These men were very aggressive towards my brother and him being much smaller than them they definitely took that to their advantage. If me and the girls weren't there with him they definitely would have escalated the situation much more aggressively. Please do not go here do not support this type of behavior there are much better and more professional 18+ club options.

Came to Flexx Nightclub with my best friend to see Cade Maddox and had a pretty good time overall…read more The best part was the show. I really liked how interactive it was and how the crowd could be part of it. That's something more clubs should be doing. My only complaint is that it felt way too short. It started around 9:30 and we came a little late, so it was basically over by the time we got settled in. After that, it just turned into a typical nightclub. The music was solid and easy to vibe to, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. The owner was also really nice, which added to the experience. I do wish they had more gogo dancers and that they weren't just stationed up high. It would feel more fun and energetic if they were walking around and interacting more. There were only a couple when we went, so it didn't feel as lively as it could be. Overall, I enjoyed it and would come back, but I think it has potential to be even better with longer shows and more performers.

I took it back to the bar - bartender offered more "tonic" (soda)... then offered to remake it. What I got back was sweet, but still very little vodka.
