Chill spot. Pretty much you're average dive. Cheap drinks, pool, darts, jukebox. Only been here a few times but never disappointed.

I felt like these people forgot what customer service is. There were 2 people behind the bar and not one of them smiled or greeted us in any way. I moved on over to the pool table and put my name under 3 people ahead of me. While I walked back to get in line again, the older male worker came around and asked for ID. Not "Welcome" "How are you?" "Hello" even... just hand out motioning for an ID and the word "ID" I quickly realized I forgot it. I left my house without my ID. Rushed out to get it and returned Less than 7 minutes later. The female worker checked it and I was getting ready order. Then I noticed the male worker had erased my name from the pool table list. I found that odd since I wasn't gone long and the same 3 names were there. Kind of aggressive, since I said I was coming back. Didn't feel welcomed and walked out. Making folks feel welcomed is a basic part of customer service. People work hard and have many places to spend their money and It's not that hard to smile I Wish I had a better review since the place is so close to home. read more

It's an old dive bar. Drinks are cheap. Crowd is chill. Lots of locals go here. It's the oldest bar in Rancho Cucamonga.

This place is absolutely the worst establishment/bar I've ever been to in my life!! I waited over 30 mins for an over cooked Philly cheese steak and extremely hard overcooked fries. The bartender must have had better things to do unless he was also cooking because he was barely present with a total of 4 people in here. But when I asked about the status of my order she talked to me like a child indicating I need to tell her what I want instead of admitting she forgot my drink. I don't know, maybe she was drunk? I love me a good dive bar. I had driven by this place several times but since I don't live in the area there was never a good time to stop in. Finally got to go in on a Saturday night. The staff were all very nice, drinks served quickly and prices were reasonable. The customers were also very friendly with no drama. They have 2 pool tables inside. Prices for a game are a little steep chipboard to other bars at $1 per game. They have a large outdoor patio with a table for beer pong and a giant connect 4 board. I'm told they do karaoke on Sundays. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star rating is the jukebox. I put in $3 which gave me 6 credits (standard pricing) and the first song I played was 1 credit. After that I played 2 2 credit songs leaving 1 credit left. I COULD NOT find any other 1 credit songs.... every single one I looked at was 2 credits (and i looked up stuff i don't even like just to try to find one) and there was no function to view 1 credit plays. This meant I couldn't even use all of my credits and it's not like you can get the change back on unused credits. read more

Wasn't to happy here bartender was grumpy and doesn't have a sense of humor I think he needs a vacation, it looked fun in there but to small for me, I couldn't believe we paid for 2beers the big ones and two shots and came out over $50! This is your standard local dive bar. Small bar, with just a few tables/seating at either end of the bar. It's very clear upon your first visit that everyone here is a regular. I haven't had any issues here with the locals or the staff. I remember one drunken stupid night, I was outside puking my insides out, and the big bouncer sat with me and held my hair up... and one of the regulars sat with me giving me water. Today I came in with a few friends to get a couple of drinks for my bday. We were the only customers in the bar besides two other women. I've been here plenty of times at night and always have a good time and the bartenders are awesome. But this time I came around 3 pm. A big dude (and I don't mean tall) greeted us pretty rudely, vigorously checked our ID's for 2-3 whole min (like if we looked 18/ we are all almost 30 or 30+), interrupted us while we were trying to order, had the most annoyed face /expressions, and made us feel uncomfortable by making weird jokes that just seemed rude. Literally, the entire place was dark we had to ask him to turn on some lights, it took him 4-5 min alone to turn on the lights, we were just standing by the pool table waiting patiently (again, there were only two parties of customers). We all bought 1 drink and left, who hired this guy? He hates his job. I would give 0 stars just because of my experience today. I was excited about bringing my friends here to celebrate my bday and he killed our mood. I don't think my friends will ever want to return here with me even if this guy is gone. Perhaps you just want to come here at night when they have friendly staff working. Day shifter was no good. After reading other comments I think the big fat dude is the problem, why isn't he fired yet? read more

I've been a regular here for about a year now. I love the atmosphere here. The bartenders are amazing and they make great drinks! On Wednesday and Sundays they have karaoke night and the KJ is an awesome dude. They have bouncers here who are just two really outgoing guys. I'm friends with both the bartenders and the KJ. They are the most caring people I've ever met in my life. 98% of people here are so respectful. You won't be disappointed it's like a big family at that place. And of course if you're a pool shark Monday's tournaments you'll have a blast. I could write a whole story about this place. I've made so many friends here. read more

Come here for karaoke often and always have a great time! However, my experience last night was terrible. JODY the bartender was SO rude and extremely unprofessional, not only to my friends and I, but to almost everyone she served. When we tried to voice our complaints to security with another party she treated badly, she left her bar area just to come outside to argue with us. Very immature and such a shitty attitude. Jenna is so sweet and cool, Darla knows her stuff and will always make you feel comfortable, Johnny gives off a great vibe, Josh is always moving and giving the best service whether is getting you another drink or cleaning up the bar, and Buddha always makes you feel safe and comfortable! Cheap drinks. Decent happy hour. Meh service. It's a hole in the wall dive bar so you can't expect much out of it. However I've been here on multiple locations and I always seem to have a good time. Normally going early afternoons between 4pm-530pm. There are always the regulars at this time, keeping to themselves and just having a good time. The bar can fill up the later it gets, mainly around 7-8pm. When we first started coming to Deane's we were kind of taken back by the service from one woman in particular. She's very off putting and short answered. But after a few more visits we've learned to put up with it and noticed she has her good days and bad. They're drinks are decently made and at cheap prices. They offer a variety of bar food items. The food I've ordered here has hit the spot after a few drinks. Some menu options are questionable though. I wouldn't have the guts to order a Shrimp Cocktail from a bar like this lol. They have a good happy hour option between 6pm-9pm where you can get a pitcher of any beer and a pizza for $12.50. The pizza taste like it's the Digiorno frozen pizza's. I don't mind it. Like I said after a few drinks anything will taste good. They have 2 pools tables, few arcade games, TV's, vending machine?, and a touch screen jukebox that has a nice selection of music. The jukebox can get expensive though. 2 credits for one song and each credit is $.50 cents. So $1 a song. Hmm I'm good with whatever music is playing. The restrooms are also always kept up and stocked. Overall the experience here will always depend on the company you choose to come with. I've seen the place get pretty packed on the weekends with decent people. Never been here while drama or fights have started so that's definitely a plus to keep me coming back. read more

Cool local hangout place. Drove by this place for years but never checked it out. Thought, 'Looks like a dive.' every time I passed it and that's exactly what it is, but a cool one at that. Came by here on a Sunday night a few months ago when a female friend told me she was going to sing for me. Turns out Sunday nights are karaoke nights. You have your regular singers and first timers and everyone seems to have fun due to the talent or lack thereof. Most people were pretty good that night including my pal. Place was packed and everyone was friendly including the cute female bartender wearing a 'F&ck Off! Tshirt. Came again last night and met an ex coworker. Saturdays are apparently less busy but things kicked in around ten PM. Domestic bottled beers are cheap even at non happy hour times and the food is pretty good and also very affordable. The staff again was very friendly, not too pushy and always checked on us despite the crowd getting bigger as time passed. Even the local drunk that sat near us at the bar who was eavesdropping on us was a friendly bloke. The crowd is a mix of twenty somethings all the way up to people in their fifties. Love that everyone is so cool and people just leave you alone. That seems to be a recurring theme in the other reviews. Highly recommended for a fun local night out. read more

Anyone who complains about the bar most likely did cause they were too drunk and don't remember their rudeness cause this place is a place for smiles and good times. By far the best place for karoake on wednesdays and sundays. The service is top notch. The only problem that just like any bars is once in a while there is a belligerent human that walks in (but what bar never has that problem!). Cool local dive bar with regulars in the day and hip younger crowd at night. Two small pool tables and small tv;s everywhere. Good music playing and run down chairs but it's clean and there is a cool vibe. They have 24oz for the drafts and a full bar. This will be my new watering hole for sure. read more

First time at Deane's.. definitely a memorable one.. so we hit up Deane's as our final night cap, after a long night of drinking.. first impression, why the hell haven't we been here before??!! Very friendly bouncer to greet ya, and another bar patron who goes by "Aquaman" and I'll get to him a little later.. pretty cool set up inside plus a patio outside and the drinks are good, stiff and cheap!! Always a great plus to a bar!! Friendly and sweet bartenders as well.. now as far as our night, well it is called Deane's bar and THRILLS.. and the experience didn't let us down on that end.. apparently some "disagreement" broke out with some individuals that caused a bit of a scene, but that's what adds character to a great bar like this!! Lol.. and apparently my wife was feeling some thrills between her legs, because she couldn't stop talking about one Mr. Aquaman and how good looking he is and how that's a guy she could just go crazy with lol.. I think the entire time we spent there, she kept telling me she just had one thing on her mind and that was her wondering what the "ocean" would feel like with Mr. Aquaman lol.. he definitely had her feeling some wetness lol.. just might have to go back and make a night of the place.. read more
