The Hawaiian Fajitas are the best. The tamales are also a well prepared homemade dish.

A small nondescript spot from the outside, this place was terrific. Outstanding service from a friendly waiter who made sure we were taken care of without hovering. Food was above average. My wife loved her chimichanga.. I had ala Carter's tamale and burrito. Burrito was nothing special but the red sauce it came with elevated it to above average. Just passing through on our way back to Denver. The colorful character of this place was alluring and fun. I had the Fajitas Jalisco and they were pretty tasty. The strips of chicken and steak were too small, though. I liked that the salsa came individual. Our server seemed for feign friendliness, but it was a slow afternoon around 145pm. So he was probably just bored. Basically, this is a great pit stop, but nothing to write home about. read more

I live in Southern California and eat really good Mexican food all the time. This was good Mexican food, not best ever but still very good. The service was really quick when taking my order, serving my food and refilling my drinks. This had nothing to do with the restaurant but there weren't very many people eating when I showed up. However one woman was on the phone speaking at a volume that would've allowed her to adequately address her high school graduation class. Then I experienced a first. The woman used "voice to tex"t to dictate a text message. This was complete with a request for commas, periods etc. Do people have any idea how annoying and how loud they talk when using their cell phone? This is especially inappropriate in an indoor setting when the general public is easily within ear shot. read more

Great authentic Mexican food at a decent price. We stopped by here on the way back from South Dakota to Texas (home) and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Very filling and was easy to take-out to eat back at our hotel. read more

It's a little gas station restaurant with very cute, colorful decor. We came here because of all the good reviews. The place was authentic and colorful but was taken by a strong cleaner smell. The menu was extensive so I got something I was familiar with. I was not impressed by the food: cheap, low quality. You get a huge plate of edible Mexican food - is what I would say. So if you are super hungry and don't really have high expectations of Mexican cuisine, this place is for you. read more

I was staying close by in a hotel and looking for something to eat within walking distance. What a gem. The margaritas were excellent. Just the right amount of tequila and lime. The staff was awesome at this place, but the food was all very bland. I got the enchilada supreme. Ground beef was not seasoned and only had chopped onions for flavor. The chicken was good meat, but again not flavored. The cheese enchilada seemed like a piece of string cheese wrapped in it. We stopped here for dinner on our drive from KC to Denver. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but the food was very disappointing. The chips had a heavy, greasy taste. The lettuce looked old. The tortillas were stale. Chicken fajitas were greasy. Enchiladas were OK, but the cheese tasted funny. Maybe they were having a bad day when we ate there, but I cannot recommend the food based on our experience. The restaurant is clearly family owned and operated, and they were very warm and welcoming. But they need to up their game on the quality of the food! read more

Everything we read on reviews led us here. We were not disappointed. Greeted with a smile. Seated immediately. Decor was colorful and festive (don't let the outside deter you). Seriously great service: fast and pleasant. Food came in less than 5 minutes. Chicken fajitas were sizzling and as fresh as it gets. Burrito San Juan for my husband was "yummy" .
