The croissants were buttery, flaky, and had just a subtle hint of sweetness that made them even better. I paired mine with a perfectly made cortadito, which was the ideal complement to breakfast. Even though we were already full, we couldn't leave without trying dessert. We ordered a slice of cake that was a combination of flan and tres leches (I wish I could remember the name). It was so rich, creamy, and delicious that I had to force myself to share. After seeing all the Latin-style sandwiches coming out of the kitchen, I already know what I'm ordering on my next visit. My husband got the elephant's ear, which he said was light and flaky. We each got bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, mine on a fabulous, sweet, and large croissant. Oh, so good! The egg was thin and folded, just enough crispy bacon, and a slice of white American cheese. I was a big fan of this sandwich! My husband had his on Cuban bread, and the sandwich was grilled. He loved it! They also do great coffee drinks! I give them an A+ for offering all their coffee drinks in decaf. I had a cafe con leche, which was rich and smooth. It was very busy, which I completely understand, but the woman taking my to-go order was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Being busy is understandable, but it shouldn't affect how customers are spoken to or treated. The person taking orders is often the first interaction a customer has, and that experience matters. A little patience, professionalism, and courtesy goes a long way, even during a rush. I enjoy coming to Aioli, which is why I hope management takes this feedback constructively and is more mindful of who is interacting with customers at the counter.
