Great authentic food. The place is small but they were able to accommodate 6 of us rather quickly!

My expectations were not high as I knew this location as Boardwalk Fries and a Portuguese restaurant the quickly went out of business - both of which I was not impressed with. So, I was really pleasantly surprised to walk into a tastefully, well decorated restaurant with full bar. Menus are on tablets with language selection capability - really useful and with pictures. The server came right away to offer help and explain some of the selections we were interested in. However, when we were eating, we were no disturbed. My wife had skirt steak. It was $30, but when you consider the cost of a skirt steak at the grocery store these days and that it came with 2 sides of your choice, I think you would agree its value. I had fish with garlic butter sauce. Don't know what kind of fish it was - didn't ask - but it was delicious. It also came with 2 sides and was only $20 as I remember. I enjoyed a Club Columbia beer with my meal and finished with a fantastic Columbia coffee. (I'm usually a cream and sugar kind of guy, but I took the chance to taste it without sugar and then finished without ever adding it. It was that good.) I had their flan for desert and really enjoyed it. A little thicker than Mexican flan with an almost cheesecake like consistency. My wife had a passionfruit desert which really didn't interest me - not a passionfruit fan, but after 1 taste I found myself going back for another and then another. Overall great food and experience. A note that others have pointed out. When I got the bill, the bottom line was like $97 and that usually includes tax and mor recently a credit card surcharge. I was about to add a tip when I notice 20% had already been included in that $97. So, my meal cost was only $75.00. If you choose to eat here, remember this.

The stand outs were the mini Colombian empanadas and the guacamole served with chicharron, chorizo and tostones. Everything was served quickly and freshly made. The staff is amazing and friendly. The vibe is fun and lively. They also have live entertainment on Saturdays starting at 7:30 pm. Free parking on site. If you've never been then this is your sign to go. I know I can't wait to return.

This is a great place with authentic cuisine. We started with the chicken Empanadas which were crispy on the outside and full of delicious flavors on the inside. I'm sorry we didn't try the beef and cheese ones...maybe next time. The seafood paella was full of shrimp, octopus, mussels and chorizo over seasoned rice with fried onions, red peppers and peas. The chorizo was so good I got a few to take home. The ropa vieja was beef which was slow cooked to the point of falling apart and melting in your mouth with potatoes and a side of rice. There were three in my party and we all had at least seconds and still had some leftovers. Very enjoyment meal and would recommend.

Man, I could eat at this place every week and be a happy camper! The food was sooo flavorful and delicious. Every item on our plates was cooked well and seasoned to perfection. Despite not speaking the same language, we were able to communicate our needs and received good and friendly service from our waitress. The other diners all seem to be enjoying their meals. And, our portions were big enough to enjoy the deliciousness at another meal. Would return without hesitation!

They also have parking in the back, which is always a huge plus! When we arrived, there were only about three tables filled, but as the evening went on, more and more people started coming in. There was a steady flow of customers dining in, picking up takeout, and visiting their bakery. And let me tell you--the baked goods looked absolutely fabulous! I'll definitely be trying some next time. Our waiter, Joe, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire evening. We started with the ceviche de chicharrón, and WOW--it was amazing! The combination of tostones, crispy chicharrón, the perfect amount of onions, and one of the best guacamoles I've had in quite a while made this an incredible appetizer. My husband ordered the fried fish, and it was so fresh and perfectly fried. It came with salad and tostones, and he absolutely loved it. My son and I both ordered the traditional Paisa dish, and the portions were HUGE! Everything on the plate was delicious and cooked perfectly. I added fried onions to my steak, and let me just say... THE BOMB! One more thing I forgot to mention--this restaurant is BYOB! Overall, we had a wonderful experience--from the food and portions to the service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and I can't wait to try more from their menu and bakery! Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Oh, and there's no shortage of free parking at this restaurant. First off, the picture on the menu showed a little bowl for the onion stew, whereas what I got was onion stew spread over the chicken. The stew itself was tasty, but for both the stew and grilled chicken, a bit more tenderness and less chewiness would certainly have elevated both dishes. The red beans and plantains were fine, but the yellow rice lacked any discernible flavour which was disappointing. I believe this place has what it takes to be even better and that both dishes should have been better. I hope they continue to improve and serve the locals (and non-locals) for many more years.

Then I thought the order was cancelled but I didn't receive any refund. I called the restaurant and they said the order was complete. But I never got the food. This means that the restaurant probably gave it to other people by mistake. However, they didn't admit this mistake and claimed they are not responsible for this. They did not show any sincerity nor gave me any compensation for this problem.

I actually came here on a whim with my parents (who are very picky eaters and prefer Colombian food more than anything), and they were very satisfied! They have plates for really any palate, from baked goods to full meals, you will find something delicious. We happen to come on a Sunday morning and ordered smoothies (strawberry ones) to start our meals. A bit on the sweet side, but you can absolutely ask for a bit less sugar. The meal that seemed the most popular was a big chicken soup. My dad got it and was in love. It seemed like a good hangover cure, if u were looking around at the guys dragging around with long faces. We also go a tipical breakfast which included beans, eggs, rice and meat. This is very similar to a Colombian calentado, and it was a huge hit for my mom. Hubby and I shared an order of pupusas, crispy, delcious and hit the spot! All the meals were large enough to share, which we did along side some pastries, coffees and smoothies. The only star I am taking off is because the outside is super shady looking and for a while I thought it was a bar and hesistated to go in. Also, service took pretty long on menu items that weren't on their buffet. Overall, all of us left with full and happy bellies! I would absolutely come back again.
