The restaurant made a serious mistake and refuse to admit it or make any compensation. I made a pickup order from Uber Eats, but the order vanished before I get to the restaurant. Then I thought the order was cancelled but I didn't receive any refund. I called the restaurant and they said the order was complete. But I never got the food. This means that the restaurant probably gave it to other people by mistake. However, they didn't admit this mistake and claimed they are not responsible for this. They did not show any sincerity nor gave me any compensation for this problem. read more

Honestly, the overall rating came down ultimately to the chicken. The service was great, ambience was chill, and the tablet menu was refreshing and fun to use. Oh, and there's no shortage of free parking at this restaurant. First off, the picture on the menu showed a little bowl for the onion stew, whereas what I got was onion stew spread over the chicken. The stew itself was tasty, but for both the stew and grilled chicken, a bit more tenderness and less chewiness would certainly have elevated both dishes. The red beans and plantains were fine, but the yellow rice lacked any discernible flavour which was disappointing. I believe this place has what it takes to be even better and that both dishes should have been better. I hope they continue to improve and serve the locals (and non-locals) for many more years. read more

We decided to go to Mis Riaces Columbian Resturant (Schoenersville Rd, Bethlehem) last evening for dinner. It is a new restaurant that just opened about a month or so ago and it is a "MUST TRY"! Friendly and hospitable service! Thank you Alejandro! Reasonably priced and portions are huge. We started off with the empanadas which was served with three dipping sauces. They were very good. I had the Bandeja paisa (beef steak, chorizo, beans, rice, fried egg, plantains ,chicharrón (fried pork belly or rind) & avocado). When the plate was placed on the table my eyes opened wide and could not believe how much food was on the plate. Definitely could have feed two people. Very flavorful and great presentation! My better half had the Grilled pork (Cerdo a la Parrilla) huge piece of pork with French fries and rice. Seasoned with fresh herbs and very tasty. We were so full there was no way we could have had dessert. But when we were leaving the dessert and pastries that were in the display case tempted us to take some deserts home for a treat later that night. We will be back! read more

The service here has been horrible each time. The last time we came we waited 30 minutes for coffee. This time we got something that we did not order and they refused to take it back even though it was not what we ordered. We ordered arepitas and we got arepitas with some sauce that looked like it came out of a jar which is not what we asked for or wanted. We also ordered steak and the steak was very cold. The plantains were very cold as well. The tomato and cucumbers were old and looked like it was frozen. $61 dollars down the drain and to top it off I wanted to pay two ways and the lady charged me more than what I had said I wanted to pay. read more

The rice and beans amazing, the western omelet amazing, fruits were very very good. Service was nice until my daughter told the waiter she found a long straight hair in her pancakes. It was a 3 stack pancake and she ate half of the forest one before she found it. We told the male waiter and he acted like we were trying to get out of paying. I just wanted fresh pancakes for her plus I was getting more food to go. Very very turned off and disappointed by his reaction. The lady was nicer about it. Had the best server, Manuela. Very attending and cordial. Made us feel very welcome. However, upon checking our bill, we noticed that, not only had Manuela set up the bill as if it was six people (it was only five of us), but that there was 18% gratuity charge on the bill because they set the bill as if it was six. Not knowing about the gratuity charge, we tipped her in cash $60.00 The $60.00 + the gratuity of $42.74 is a total of $102.74. In addition, the charge 3% for using a credit card, $8.41. The food was good but obviously check your receipt before you pay it because they are not honest enough to mentioning all these additional charges up front. They won't see me again. read more

I went there because the restaurant's name was the same as one of my home country. To my surprise it is Colombian food!! They have pan de bono!! Save your money! Huge disappointment. We went at 6:15 on a Friday. By the time we left there were 8 other people in the restaurant. There was a DJ playing. I love music but it was so loud you couldn't have a conversation. The waitresses were dressed like they should be at a strip club, definitely not appropriate when you have kids with you and it's only 6:00. They seemed more concerned with taking pictures and the DJ than actually doing their jobs. In addition, they were extremely unfriendly. As for the food, terrible. Absolutely no flavor and the steak was super tough. My jaw hurt! It seriously was one of the worst meals I had in a long time. My son did say his burger was ok. The sangria I got was very good, but I got it because they didn't have the beer I initially ordered and it took a while for it to come out. They also didn't have coconut rice which I thought was strange. When we were finished we waited about 15 minutes for our server to come back with our check, that did not happen. We actually had to get up and ask. I paid for it at the waitress station. My family and I love to give local restaurants our business but this was such a huge disappointment. We will never go back. Highly recommend this restaurant and bakery. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant and bakery were clean, updated and welcoming. And most importantly, the food was fresh and delicious! I didn't take pics of the empanadas, but they were excellent as well- filled with a tasty chicken and beef mixture . The dough was very good and not at all greasy, which we have sometimes found in other restaurants. They do not have a liquor license, but are awaiting approval on BYOB; however they have a lucious menu of non/alcoholic drinks, and great coffee . We ordered empanadas for a group and were extremely disappointed. We visited the restaurant, sampled the empanadas and then ordered chicken and beef empanadas. We were first told each empanada was $2.00 and evidently the owner might discount an order for 18. When we placed the order, we were told we would be give two free but the cost per empanada was now $2,50. However the cost was not the issue....we called ahead to be sure our order would be ready for pickup. It seemed the person in the phone was not sure. When we picked up the empanadas we asked how to keep the, warm. We were told they would stay warm so no need to warm them. We were given small containers of their sauces, individual ones but not one per person and we wondered why they didn't give us a larger container for 20 people. When they were served and not warmed because we were told they would still be warm, they were not.....ice cold. This company is not prepared for larger orders and the entire experience was poor. Went here with a friend who had previously enjoyed her experience. The latte I had was good. I had the beef pantacones app as my meal. It was very good. She had the Tamal, which she had previously and the first time it was good. This time it was very dry and the meat tough. All in all the food was good but the prices are waaaaaay too high. The ceviche is almost $17! The prices are just too high for future visits, especially if I'd consider taking my family. I did take two vegetarian empanadas to go and when I got home they were meat. I called to get a refund but due to the language barrier and after 20 minutes on the phone repeating myself, I was done trying to explain the simple situation over and over. I would def recommend giving it a try. I'm sure they'll work out the kinks as they go. read more

Don't order the grilled chicken with garlic sauce shrimp. Everything was expensiv, unseasoned, and cold. There wasn't even a hint of garlic on the shrimp! Drinks are small. The service was much better that the food. Only other issue is that the cozy modern ambiance can get really crowded sometime. read more
