The service was good but a little slow for the amount of people that were there. Our server was super nice. We had the fries platter for two and loved all the things on the bite size appetizers. I am glad we got that because our main dishes took a really long time to come out. We ordered a carafe of really yummy (strong) sangria and the view was beautiful so we made due. My whole fried snapper was seasoned really well and the rice and beans was yummy. My husband ordered the large steak nachos and in short they were bad. The cheese sauce was cold and had an odd taste. The waitress told us the sour cream and guacamole was under the blanket of cheese but there was none. read more

Superb location with Ocean view, thus the outdoor seating area is a most. Huge parking area behind the restaurant. Service is very attentive and fast. I really enjoyed both dishes, and the plantain it came with. My dining parter ordered a mojito, which was sweet and strong. She also got the fried red snapper, which was delish. My family is from this city and ever since I can remember, this restaurant was the place to visit on special occasions. Almost did my wedding here, but because we needed something bigger, had to switch locations. This restaurant is known for their delicious Puerto Rican dishes that are just like "abuela's" (Abuela=grandmother). Cooking here is flavorful, fresh food and fair prices! Overlooking a local beach, you can't go wrong eating here. Service is friendly, location is more than worth checking out and food is delicious. Try their mofongo or plantain soup!! read more

SO GOOD!! We ended up finding this restaurant unintentionally but I'm so happy we ate here! The first thing you'll notice upon arrival is the gorgeous view of the ocean right in front of the restaurant. There's a good amount of outdoor seating to enjoy the view and ocean breeze while you eat. We were promptly seated upon arrival and our server was super friendly ! I ended up ordering the mofongo with churrasco which was absolutely amazing! The meat was cooked to perfection and flavours were incredible! Mine was alla criolla which is a typical Puerto Rican tomato based sauce. I also tried the garlic one that my friend ordered on hers and it was delicious ! I would definitely recommend that one if you love garlic ! (Unless you fear having bad breath for the day, opt for the criolla ). Another really interesting thing on the menu was nachos with "platanutres" (plantain chips). In my whole life of eating Puerto Rican food, I've never seen anything like it! My brother was a bit sceptical ordering it, but it was surprisingly a brilliant combination and tasted delicious! Don't forget to order a pitcher of their sangria. Thank me later ;) All in all, I really enjoyed eating here and highly recommend it for anyone passing by or in the area. On my first day back to Puerto Rico, I noticed this restaurant was in walking distance from the house I'm staying at. I walked right up and was seated immediately. I was ready to order in Spanish when the waiter gave me the menu and asked me if I would be more comfortable with an English explanation. The menu is dual language, so even if there was nobody that spoke English here, you would not have a hard time ordering. The food was fantastic and they had a great deal on building your own appetizer platter. I had a beautiful view of the ocean during my meal and was promptly attended to without feeling encumbered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Ample parking in the back if you are driving, seconds from the coast to snap some great sunset photos. read more

It's a buffet. With that the food is really good. They have goat that you put over rice and it's worth the whole $8.50. They also offer a pasta salad that is so good I'm making mention of it. Service was AMAZING. Our server was so sweet and charming! Also- our Spanish is not very good and he spoke fluent English so it helped us out a lot. The area is so gorgeous too. It's beachfront with only a road and some sand between the water. The reason I'm giving such a great review is because of the restaurant itself. You can tell so much love is put into the food. My only suggestion- stick with the Puerto Rican food and not the Mexican. From what we got- the Puerto Rican food was amazing but I have high standards for Mexican food (I live in LA) so the Mexican was only 'eh' to me. But I would still 100% recommend this place if it's a gorgeous day out and you want some seafood by the beach. read more
