I am in town for work and wanted some caldo. I searched around on Yelp and found a few good reviews about the beef caldo. It was a little weird that the vegetables were still hard but it did give it a fresh texture that I have never experienced in my life. The broth was full of flavor and even the portions of vegetables were just right. I'm used to getting a lot of one vegetable and it seems like they have the vegetables portioned out for each bowl. The food was soured and expired tasting and I threw up 5 to 6 times while I was there and I had the beef enchiladas with queso on top with rice and beans and a side of sliced avocado and my mother went back in there to tell them I threw up and they told her that they check the food every day and I don't believe it because how would I have gotten sick ? This was a great spot for dinner in Granbury, Texas. We started out with a chili con queso; which is a must when you're in Texas. They usually serve it with flour tortillas - and these tortillas were homemade and delicious. My sister ordered the fajitas which were super fresh and delicious! The food tasted authentic and was very good however the customer service was lacking in such a way I will not be back period and honestly I encourage anyone else considering this place to keep Moving on down the street. The waitress "Yolet", the best description I can give is inexperienced even she claims the opposite. Things that individuals were allergic were still left on the plate, items were never rang in, but additional charges for multiple sides of condiments or other charges were. Like others - no pricing on the menus for or any of the meals is a DEAL BREAKER. In addition there was a charge for a very very small bowl of chips/salsa. Also a deal breaker. And we had to finally ask for it and no notice that we'd be charged. Sadly I must say the food was quite good and salsa delicious. But I would never return or recommend this restaurant. The server may have been new and was certainly untrained. There were 3 in our party and we ordered 2 entrees plus margaritas and beer. Ordered 2 breakfast taco and they are exactly as I ordered, tasty, and fresh. Tortillas were freshly warmed and not sitting on a steam table which means my to-go order arrived and nothing was soggy. It will soon be on the "clean-plate" short list. I will eat here next time I'm in town. read more

Don't know why yelp is giving them 3.5 stars. My wife and I liked this place. First, the food was delicious. A prerequisite for any 5 star review. Second, the surprising thing was the amount of western food served, too: pancakes, eggs and bacon, burgers, etc. But, third, what was awesome if when my daughter dropped a piece of bacon and they brought 3 replacements just in case any other bacon was accidentally dropped. They even said: well, if no body calls within a few days we bring everything home?! WTF! This is why people have stereotypes, you go eat tacos better check your seats before you left, coz the staffs will not give you the lost and found back regardless. Lesson learned. The worse Mexican Restaurant that I've patronized. First off they charge you for Chips and Salsa with the chips served a bowl the size of what you'd eat cereal from. Second, I ordered a Frozen margarita that was barley frozen and served in an orange juice glass. Lastly, the Queso cheese was more like Nacho Cheese. WE see this Restaurant when ever we drive into downtown Granbury. It always seems to have cars around it so we thought we would try it. 1st thing you notice is that teh TV is set on the Spanish channel and that we were by far one of the few gringos., therefore we expected good Mexican food. The 2nd thing was, and we should have gotten up and walked out, was the menu had NO PRICES on it. We had to ask the waiter what the prices were and he had to look them up. RED FLAG #1. He asked if we wanted chips and salsa. Without thinking we said yes. It is not free and most likely the worst we ever had. Bowl of chips and a bowl of red seasoned broth. No texture to the sauce, just broth. That explains why most people there did ot eat it. My chimichanga was on the low side of quality. The meat was over cooked to just south of qualifying as shoe leather. My wife had the Burrito and it was filled with chicken and good, so stay away from the beef. The usually drinks max out around $2,99 for a soda, not here, they know where to make money. The service was missing, Every time we wanted a refill, a box to go or the bill, we had to ask another waiter/waitress to find out guy. The final thing was trying to get a copy of my credit card receipt. He printed out his, but could not figure out how to get a copy. After getting a boss, she too coudl not produce a copy. We tried it and it got us so not ever going back. They will do good because of location - location and tourists. read more

The young girl with curly hair and the other young girl that always has a little braid. They literally can have a couple tables and still wait tables like they are slammed.
