We were looking for authentic Puerto rican food. This place had few but great reviews. Its in a residential area and one might feel lost finding it. We met the owner and he personally sat with us told us his story. He played us a few local songs on his guitar. Great hospitality. I had fish which I can surely say was the best fish I ever had along with a mashed plantain side. The home made sangria was perfect. For desert we had almond cheese custard and guava cheese cake. The quantity and taste were amazing. They have a new menu every day but they are flexible to cater to your special needs. Its definately a place to visit when in Puerto Rico.

It was recommended by one of our tour guides so it is a great option for both locals and tourists. It had a nice atmosphere and very large menu with many different types of options. The Frutti di mare was one of the best pastas I've ever had! It had almost every type of seafood you could want. A great option for someone who wants to try a bit of everything. It was large enough to satisfy you but not too large where you have to take leftovers it back to your hotel. It also came with a salad and delicious bread. My husband ordered the yucafongo pollo, and was very impressed. It was also filling and well made. The drink menu also had a lot of options. I went with the sangria which was super tasty! It's more on the fruity side. Our service was great and we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food, although it seemed busy. Whether you live in the area or are just on vacation, I would recommended trying it out!

My friends and I shared the skirt steak with mofongo, and the mofongo was the best we had our entire trip. We got to try to chicharron too, and it was crispy and flavorful. I've been eating pork for days, so that was not an option, and I really didn't want chicken nor fish. However, the waitress told me one of the chicken dishes was very good so I tried it. I had an appetizer and a cocktail. They were fine. For the entree, I had chicken breast with a creamy garlic sauce, served with seasoned rice mixed with beans. The rice was flavorful, but it was not warm, not heated thoroughly. The chicken lacked depth of flavor. It was cooked plain with a garlic sauce poured on top and a few slices of red sweet peppers. Service was fine. The waitress was very friendly and asked how everything was. I told her the rice was not warm. She offered to fix it. However, I lost my appetite. Casual dining atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. Maybe is was a bad night, not sure. I'm on vacation, so I will not return.

This 12-seated Chef's Table is an experience and conversation with those around you as well as with the food that speaks volumes while allowing you to be curious. Chef Antonio makes this experience extremely welcoming and accessible for anyone from all walks of life. Sarah made our day when she was so kind in emails leading up to potentially attending the November Cheese month. I had emailed her to see if there were two spots available and she put us on her list and crossed her fingers for us! When we got the email that two spots had opened (on our wedding day) it was the most beautiful gift to us! Sarah continued to be warm, welcoming, and connective on a human to human level. Antonio took us on a journey of the ingredients and how cheese was highlighted in each dish, not to mention the wine pairing that Sarah would create to emphasize each flavor! Truly one of the biggest highlights of our trip! Beyond grateful that we were able to experience the creation and knowledge of these two.
