Very good fried foods and pinchos. My only issue is that the oil didn't taste very fresh, it's clearly been reused a ton. And the bacalallitos don't have a lot of fish in them, there's barely any honestly. LOVED the pinchos though. Service was quick and there's a ton of seating. The vibe is lively.

Everything was great--food was fresh, and the service was fast and friendly right from the moment we walked in.

La comida siempre siempre deliciosa! Mi parada favorita en piñones tienen estacionamiento y siempre hay donde sentarse.

Located in Pinoñes near the beach. We randomly stopped by because the place was full and we are so glad we did. We got an alcapurria with crab, pastellito with chicken, and a chicken pincho. The pincho was made fresh on the grill and was so tasty that once we finished our food, we had to order another one. You can see a man grilling the pinchos right in front of you and a lady frying the alcapurrias/pastellitos fresh!

Hipi Cache is located in a strip of many open air restaurants in Piñones. It was recommended by locals and hidden away from touristy areas. It was about a 15 minute drive from Condado. The meals were by far the best authentic food we had so far on our visit. I opted for red snapper with yuca mofongo. The fish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Yuca mofongo was flavorful and satisfying. The service was great and staff was friendly.

We loved going to this restaurant near pinones. We ordered, oysters, snapper, chicken bbq, octopus and ceviche. Excellent flavor, not overpowering, and we felt the seafood was fairly fresh. My favorite was the oysters, which were large and great with a lime. Everyone else liked the fish and octopus as well. We had fresh coconut as well, which was nice but it wasn't as flavorful as I've had elsewhere (It may not be in season right now). Would 100% recommend a visit! Wish we had more time to visit again.

One of the best spots we found in pinones. This place probably had one of the best mofongos we had on this trip! It was an amazing texture and the aioli they provided was the perfect compliment to be dish! The service was slow though, we almost left because they did not put our order in for a while!

I stopped here while in Loiza waiting to pick someone up from the airport. It is across the street from Pinones beach. I got there about 11a.m. on a Sunday and it was not busy. By 12:30 they were packed and had someone directing parking which helped a lot of people. The fried park was tasty but half was juicy and half was dry and overcooked. The conch was delicious and the dozen Oysters are definitely worth the thirty bucks. It's very casual, my daughter and I sat under a fan far from the smoking hot grills. The waitress was sweet and attentive. She spoke minimal English which was ok since the menu had English. I love the area with all the little shops. Traffic can be a bit heavy in the area.

This is by far one of the memorable food experiences I have had in San Juan. The menu was mostly in spanish, so we just ordered various fried food...and it was amazing! For uncultured gringos like me, the alcapurria is a small fried dough bar with meat on the inside and it is great. The pincho is a large kabob that is to die for. The pinono is a plantain made fried dough with meat on the inside and is amazing. Pastelillos are empanadas with meat on the inside and a must try! The frappe here are very strong if you add alcohol and is really really good and affordable.

Walking around piñones looking for street food and the fresh made bacalito smell brought us in . Great mixed drinks made us stay but the people here are the best vibes. ***Maria, Derlin, and I forgot the other guys name were super friendly even though it was so busy. They made some good drink recommendations and just great Puerto Rican vibes. I Recommend the coco with don Q but you MUST TRY the Don Q 151 if you want a unique experience! It's out for a limited time. Also, try all the street food they have

Pincho Pollo ($3 per skewer). The sauce on the chicken reminds me of a teriyaki/Polynesian sauce. Tasty! 9/8/23

There are plenty of restaurants in the area but this one had the best looking Chicken Skewers (Pincho Pollo) on display so we decided to give them a try. The chicken skewers were $3 each, meat pie (don't know the name) $2 each, and the Pina colada was $6 each. Very affordable if you are in the area. The place also looked bright and had plenty of people. We were glad to have found this gem. We'd definitely come back to try more items! 9/8/23

It was a great spot with beautiful views. The service was a little slow for only having about 6 patrons other than us but we weren't in a hurry and the waiters were both very friendly. I did get a little impatient at one point and walked over to the little fried food area in the front and ordered something while we were waiting on our order and the waiter saw me and his face was like wtf my guy. lol. Food was delicious and in front of a gorgeous beach - I'd recommend Calamari, Ceviche, fritters and the churrasco mofongo! PLEASE NOTE-- service in PR is always pretty SLOW. Waiters are so kind and patient, but just know the actual service can be veryyyy slow. For any sit down restaurants, always be ready to spend ~2 hours on average lol. Sometimes it's faster but sometimes it's slower... Many of the reviews give low ratings due to service/timeliness, but that's just a Puerto Rico standard so I don't think they should get dinged (!)

It was recommended by one of our tour guides so it is a great option for both locals and tourists. It had a nice atmosphere and very large menu with many different types of options. It was large enough to satisfy you but not too large where you have to take leftovers it back to your hotel. It also came with a salad and delicious bread. My husband ordered the yucafongo pollo, and was very impressed. It was also filling and well made. The drink menu also had a lot of options. I went with the sangria which was super tasty! The service was a little confusing at first. We were seated and expected to access the menu through a QR code, which wasn't immediately explained to us. We initially expected traditional menus, so there was a bit of uncertainty before we realized how the ordering process worked. We were also seated near one of the air conditioning units, which made some members of our party feel a bit cold during the meal. However, once the food arrived, all of those concerns quickly disappeared. The food was incredible. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, every dish at the table was delicious. The arroz con pollo was honestly the best I have ever had in my life. It was perfectly seasoned, comforting, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like authentic Puerto Rican cooking at its best. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it made for a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. While the service experience could be a little clearer and some seating areas may be colder than others, the quality of the food more than makes up for those minor issues. I would absolutely return on a future visit to Puerto Rico.

This is authentic comida criolla, which pulls from Caribbean, Latin American, and Spanish influences all at once, and my picky palate keeps asking what exactly it's trying to be.
