This place has been under new management from about 3 years ago. I noticed it has a 3 star rating, but the bad reviews are from many years ago. We went here this past Friday night with my wife's sister and our brother-in-law. I was surprised to be seated by the stage and the hockey rink, which was pretty cool. The service was excellent and the food delicious with large portions, making it an excellent value for the prices. I had the Arroz con pollo which seemed like a never ending serving because it is such a large portion. I ordered it with red beans on the side and mixed them in with the rice and chicken. My wife had the breaded chicken breast, which was 2 large, breaded breasts, served thin and took up almost the whole plate. I thought it was interesting that when the server brought out the appetizers, she brought the silverware wrapped in napkins and plates. Then before our meal was served, she gathered it all up and brought clean silverware and napkins again. It kept the table nice and cleared. We could not finish our huge servings and took the leftovers home with us. My sister-in-law had the salmon and my brother-in-law had the grilled Asada. Both were good sized portions. This place is definitely worth checking out for really good Colombian cuisine.

Came here to celebrate a friend's graduation. There were over 20 people and the service was excellent. The food came out promptly. It has a fun ambiance. It's a little like a sports bar, there are several big screen tvs with sports on. The food did not blow my mind but it was good... except the frijoles (beans), those were absolutely AMAZING. There's a lunch menu with more affordable prices.

I've been in Kendall for 10 years and always noticed this place because it's right next to the ice arena. I remember trying it years ago and thinking it wasn't that good. Recently, I visited for the Copa America event, and WOW! The quality has improved so much. They have great drinks, appetizers, and food. We tried different menu options, and everything was tasty. They even offer Colombian aguardiente and beer. The ambiance was amazing. They organized the Copa America final wonderfully, with a vibrant atmosphere and lively decorations. The music added to the festive mood, and the staff was incredibly attentive and efficient despite the huge crowd. The place was buzzing with energy, and it was clear they put a lot of effort into making the event special. The seating was comfortable, and the layout allowed for easy movement even with so many people around. I will definitely be checking out their live events in the future and returning for their great Colombian cuisine. This place has really turned things around, and I'm excited to see what they do next.

Food, excellent. Service, I went during the week and they had one waitress. It was a Wednesday, she was great but she was the only one so made it a bit slow. Ambiance: I chose this place for my book club meeting, which was ideal before 9 o'clock. But after nine we couldn't hear ourselves talking. They have music and then a live singer. It was still great and we loved the music but we couldn't talk about our book lol. Food was amazing though.

Went to El Gran Bamboo for a Valentines show "pa calzones a calzoncillo" very enjoyable. I recommend this show. Stella Flores "la dama de la canción " was fantastic. Great voice and showmanship. Our server Gustavo was very hospitable, galant and sympatico. We had the chicken and pasta. It was very tasty. The cheese Alfredo cream was delicious in taste but a little to much, over powered the spaghetti which was perfectly cooked. It was a wonderful evening all around. Great atmosphere Beautiful and roomy restaurant.

You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!

Some Colombian restaurants rent in places where the lease is absorbed by the paying customer in the charge of food- this is simply not the case here This restaurant is a staple of the area and don't be surprised to walk in and hear patrons greet the staff as if they were regulars because they most certainly are familiar faces I ordered a bone broth to start with grilled steak and rice entrée and finished with a cup of coffee that was brewed to perfection This is the kind of place you go for quality food in a cozy environment Parking is somewhat limited out front, which adds to the exclusivity of it unless you're in a walking distance While I was there, I also noticed a multitude of Mobile dining orders, which lets you know plenty of people want with this place has to offer and after having eaten here today, I can completely see why: great food great staff amazing price points

The girl that answered was super friendly and told me they could have them ready for the time I ordered, which was great!! I got to the location for my pick up and the whole parking situation was a mess. I had to park a bit far, which was more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. Once in there, I went to the counter where there were 3 ladies working. I'm literally in front of them and about 4 minutes went by before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I'm the one that finally spoke up and said "buenas tardes" and they acted as if I had just miraculously appeared in front of them. I find this absolutely shocking, as most Colombian restaurants are so welcoming and polite. I ask for my order and they tell me to wait a moment. About another 5 minutes go by and they bring out my order horribly covered with some aluminum foil. In the car I grabbed an empanada to have a taste and it is all burned inside and out. When I got to my gathering I removed the aluminum foil and about 10 empanadas were in the same badly burned condition. These empanadas cost a little over $2 a piece! I paid $90+!! I understand Saturday was the Colombia game and they must have been swamped, but if you can't provide quality product, don't overwhelm yourself by taking on more than your kitchen can handle. The oil must not have been the right temperature cause the empanadas were extremely greasy. Luckily we were able to place them on some paper towels to soak up the grease and most of them were consumed. Everyone said that the taste was decent, but they were definitely over fried. I have no idea what their food and service is if you dine in, however I highly recommend not ordering out. There's much better Colombian places.

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.
