We were a party of four we ordered some appetizers and drinks to start, everything was good, shrimp and octopus, tiraditos and caprese salad. The tomahawk was perfectly cooked, same as the new york stip. well seasoned and hot! The wine selection is adequate and mixed drinks are good. I do recommend this place for a nice all meat dinner. Its not cheap by any means but I do believe its worth it

In the states their was a time when a steakhouse was an experience. Being from Chicago I have been to some of the finest, and must say El Grill has just placed amongst the top I have been around the globe. The service we reviewed from Miguel was nothing short of magical, and the food!!!! I can not begin to express the rich flavors and experience we had. From the Sashimi Bronzino to the 90 day aged ribeye. It was an experience from beginning to end. I can not ever begin to express my appreciation and respect for el Grill! We will be back with clients often!!!

Too expensive for burnt meat!!!! Service is attentive as is the case in Mexico, but for a $100 cut of meat it should not be burnt

Best stake house in TIJUANA! I always forget to write a review because I get way to drunk but now as a sober food lover can recommend this amazing place is chil but the food is way so damn good I always get the petite and the lobster tail Try everything I did and is just delicious every time I stop here I try something new and always happy and full! About drinks I always drink wine or the michelada with mezcal ! If you're in Tijuana this is your chance lol ! Enjoy!

Great steakhouse: Enjoyed the ribeye and baked potato. Classic American steakhouse in Tijuana. Pricey than most places, similar to US steakhouse prices.

I pretty much only want to eat here when I come to tj. The chef is a true master everything was cooked perfectly. One of the best meals I've ever had. I enjoyed the tomahawk steak, quail and the beet salad.

The steak and shrimp were wonderful, and that salsa served with the chips was like nothing I have tasted before. To top it all off, the service was amazing, and the environment was so welcoming. We had a filet mignon (filet mignon / flame of yawn) with shrimp and two beers, which came out to about $48 USD. The food is truly outstanding, especially for the price. I will definitely return the next time I come to Tijuana. Please tell the chef how much I enjoyed my meal!

We decided to try this place because of the amazing Google reviews!…read more but boy, were we wrong! Hear me out. From the moment we arrived, we felt rushed to our seats. We asked to move outside to catch the game, and while the server accommodated us, it was clear he wasn't too thrilled about it. We started with drinks, which were actually great; so good that we ended up ordering three rounds plus shots! For appetizers, we had the grilled bone marrow and empanadas, followed by a New York strip loin (recommended by the server) with creamy spinach and truffle fries. The empanadas and fries were delicious, but the steak was completely bland, definitely not worth the price. We asked for a spicy salsa, and the server brought one out "on the house," which was amazing. I even asked to take the leftover salsa home. Now, here's where things turned shady. Throughout the meal, the server kept upselling us on everything; which we didn't mind since we were having a good time. But when the bill came, we noticed he charged us for the leftover salsa that he originally said was complimentary! It wasn't about the money, but the principle. We asked him to remove the charge and told him to forget the salsa. The manager noticed what happened, took care of the charge, and even packed the salsa with our leftovers. The server, however, never returned to the table after that. The ambiance and cleanliness were fine, but overall, the experience left a bad taste. VERDICT: I will not be coming back.

Both the mocktails and the cocktails were delightfully tasty. Our waiter Fernando was exceptional, going as far as to bring us the various cuts of meat when we have questions about what to order. The meat! The meat! The best steak my wife and I have had I'm recent memory! She had the Bite de Lomo. I had the arrechera. We both couldn't have been happier with our choice. We're already talking about making a trip down from San Diego to have dinner here!

The selection of meat was very basic. I def should have checked on that before considering going. We kept getting offered sausage, tripe and burnt chicken. All those meats were over cooked for my liking. We also got picana and asked for filet mignon asked for medium, came out ok but burnt edges. It made it hard to eat. The carving portions were small kinda annoying to have to constantly wait or flag down a server for more. The meat was bland not even a little salt and pepper. Just not it. The buffet part was def not up to parr either. The salads look unappetizing, old. Same goes with all or most of the dishes that were offered. Ceviche, pastas, meat dishes. The kid friendly options were ok but even my kids didn't approve the pasta. We also had sangria which was ok, tasted more like a sour sparkling water. We didn't get a drink menu so we just kinda asked what they offer and opted for sangria. They have a kids room with an attendant which was pretty cool. It's the only reason my kids want to go back. The ambiance is decent. Not too loud, TVs around gave it a bar feel a bit. I wasn't expecting that. I believe the place is priced a little more on the higher side for what they offer. It didn't meet my expectations in food or service. I think it would be helpful to keep a better eye on buffet food. Wilted salads are not a good look. Provide more communication on what is offered for protein in this case. I don't go to Tijuana too often but when I do, I try a new restaurant. Stay tune for the next one.

This dish is more of a grill served at our table, and it came with a variety of meats: various beef cuts as well as sausages. For dessert, I had the flan, which was slightly sweeter than I usually have them, but it was delicious. We were sat at a larger table on the second floor, which felt like being back home in my dining room. It was semi-private, which was nice. This time around, I came with the girlfriend. After driving for 30 minutes from TJ's Zona Rio, we arrived at this fine restaurant in Rosarito. Parking was along the main avenue, at the front of the building. We walked in, and we were sat on the first floor. I ordered steak, medium, as did the girlfriend. Our sides were garden salad, and cheese fondue. I ordered some coffee and lemonade on mineral water, which were both okay. Our dessert was an order of empanadas. I liked the beef empanadas the best, followed by the ones with cheese. Personally, I prefer the parillada over the individual steak plate, but both hit the spot well. This is a decent Argentinian grill in the city of Rosarito. Come check them out.
