I want to like this place. The bar is excellent and the staff always helpful. The problem is the food not be consistent. The Asada way( skirt steak ) can be fresh and seasoned well. Usually, the staff will ask how do you want your steak prepared. The mid rare is the best. Tonight there was no discussion and the steak was served obviously old by a day or two and was bland warm and grey. My sons was the same way. My wife ordered Adada fahita and our plates looked identical to hers. Poor quality.

Alexia was a fantastic server, very knowledgeable and did not disappoint with her food suggestions. The restaurant was all decorated for Halloween and had such a fun vibe. Loved the atmosphere as much as the drinks. Taco Tuesday is my thing and I'm always looking for fun local taco places when I travel. It did not disappoint!

Look, I don't go anywhere anymore. The beautiful wife and I are getting old & boring. But we still come here time to time. Such good food; shame it isn't busier more often.

So amazing! I would have licked this plate clean had I not been in public.

We drive past this place a few times a week always saying we're gonna stop by, today we finally did and it was worth the wait! Saul greeted us as we entered and seated us with no wait. It seemed a little slow but we've seen this place packed more often than not. Wednesday is fajita night, buy one get one half off. From start to finish El Hefe is not your typical Mexican food restaurant. Starting from having unique decor (no Jarritos bottles lining the walls or Dia de los Muertos decorations all around) to chicharrones as complimentary treat instead of chips and salsa. Don't worry, you can still order some chips and salsa for an appetizer. We went with the medium salsa (you can do mild, medium, or hot), green and DELICIOUS!! If you've had fajitas once then you can guarantee to have had fajitas at most restaurants in your area. NOT HERE!!! Ordered chicken fajitas and this was the most delicious, juiciest chicken laid on a bed of sautéed onions, peppers, and mushrooms with refried beans and rice on the side and plated, not on the overdone sizzling pan on a slab of wood. I ordered "The Boss" margarita, a pineapple margarita with Tajin on the rim - MMMMMMMM!!! Dessert we had a cake sampler which consisted of a slice each of Tres Leche, Chocoflan, and Carlotta cake. I wish I would have ordered some to go, I want more. Saul was an amazing server and helped make our night perfect.

Took my team here for dinner after our sales meeting. They can accommodate large groups and the staff was very attentive. Great food and nice bar menu. Everyone loved their meal, Al pastor was good, the steak tacos were my favorite. Pinche Dips app has something for everyone, and the Queso Fundido was really good. BUT, the star of the show were the CHURRO WAFFLES!!! Amazing!!! Some of the best churros I've ever had!!!

Our first stop...finally. El Hefe was recommended to us by the waiter of a different Mexican restaurant. ‍. The hubs got ceviche which has said was good 8/10. I got the shrimp tacos and there was a bite of shrimp every time! Their 'Rita's were good with a slight citrus flavor. Not your typical 6page menu Mexican Restaurant.

A new entree on their specials menu worthy of an update. I had the seafood Quesadillas which were fantastic. Consisted of four quesadillas stuffed with shrimp and white fish and then topped with a few more chunks of shrimp and whitefish smothered in queso and lightly garnished with greens and radish slices, this made for an absolutely delicious meal. A side of rice and a small river of queso made this dish simply divine. Highly recommend.

One of the best margaritas I've ever had. Food is always on point. Especially the dips. The service is always pleasant and timely. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Ohio.

Go hungry and thirsty! What an awesome place to spend your afternoon with friends! Good food and endless possibilities of drinks! Freakin awesome! Service was good and staff was polite! We have visited Vintages Estates from Pittsburgh on multiple occasions now after hearing what a…read morecraft beer haven it is. Honestly it's been a bit of a mixed bag which makes it tricky to review. First off the setup. You enter into a wine shop. Then the next room has a little seating and a small bar. Then shelf after shelf and cooler after cooler of craft beer. You truly could get lost and spend hours exploring the selection. It can be overwhelming. They have a ton of variety and some beers that are tough to find. Prices can be a bit all over the place. My biggest complaint though is the amount of way past date beers and the heavily fruited sours stating must be refrigerated that are on the shelves. I just know now I have to double check the dates on everything and have skipped buying things for sure. The next room has the main bar with seating and a handful of high top tables. This has been where we have sat every visit. I'm not sure how service is supposed to be as it's been inconsistent. One visit we have had table service. The next we had to go up to the bar to be able to order anything. Another someone said they would be right there for our order and we were left waiting a long time. The draft list is a good size and offers a good variety. They also frequently do special events and tap takeovers bringing in beers hard to find on draft locally. Unfortunately last time we went for a tap takeover we were told those couldn't be included in the flight option. They almost push you to drink more because there is a variety to try only in small or full pours. However the small pours are so much more expensive, especially when the full pours are on happy hour. They are known for their flatbreads and have a huge variety of them available ranging from much more traditional to the more creative. They also often have specials available. There are appetizers and other food available as well but we have always stuck with flatbreads. The flatbreads are pretty good but nothing special. Overall Vintage Estates is a mixed bag. They do have something for everyone as far as beer, wine, cider and mead. They have some decent food to go along with it. They just have some things they could improve. We will still make a return visit though for some event I'm sure.

Picnic benches and umbrellas are there too. Umbrellas are a bit unstable. While there one almost flew in to the lake. But we are here for wine. Walk in and you can smell the food. I did not have any food so I cannot comment. Smelled good though. People seemed to enjoy. They had a special on sangria so we went with that. They said it was a pint glass. But it's not a pint. I have had a pint many times and this was just a solo cup that is less than a pint. Not the red solo but clear with lid. Sangria was ok. Fruit was a slice of orange. A bit dry for me. Not horrible but not to my liking. They have a handful of other wines. You can try and taste just ask. The issue was really the employees. I thought they were abrupt and kinda rude. I am here to spend money and it seemed like my questions annoyed them. Never been here so I wanted to know what everything was about. Maybe I went on an off day. There were quite a few people there trying to enjoy the day. Overall i might pass next time. Good view. But so-so on the experience.

To our surprise the wait staff was very attentive keeping our drinks refilled, they never ran empty, when it came to our appetizer and our food they were always asking how it was, if we needed anything else. the wait staff are amazing and if not for just the food being great we would definitely dine here again. The food was immaculate, we had the deep fried pickles appetizer and I will tell you straight from the heart I've never had fried pickles as delicious as these were, not even Quaker Steak has pickles this delicious. 10/10 We each ordered the Philly cheesesteak, hers with the garlic aoli and mine without, and I have to say we were both surprised at how delicious, savory, and tender the steak was. This is the type of dining experience we have expected but have never gotten to witness. Barrel 33 has really out done themselves. The only problem I had and I'm sure my wife probably had was the Ambiance, the music was great, but the lighting was terrible it was difficult to read the menus and I was almost at the point where I was going to turn on the flashlight on my phone to read what was available but it's nothing to complain about, these old tired eyes just don't see very well anymore and it's not their fault. yes I would have liked a little more light to see, but I get it, the feel they were going for, which makes the overall dining experience enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you Barrel 33 for a great evening out with my babydoll. we will definitely visit again.
