Jalisco dip

Great service, reasonable prices, friendly staff. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Southern WV. My faves are the jalisco pasta and the jalisco dip. However, their burritos are also pretty delicious. It's always a great go-to in the town of Montgomery.

Stopped in here for a quick bite after white water rafting all day. The place was on the way home and would be a great place to take a quick break. Here we got quick service, chips, and drinks. It was just what we needed. We all ordered something different and lots of piping hot food. It took a bit to get our food and we didn't get refills, but it was still a good place. I would stop back in there if in the area.

Don't eat here unless you like a little extra protein in your food. This was in the last of the salsa that was served to us.

Good food, friendly service. Worth the trip to Montgomery. Great margarita selection (including flights!) and tequila tasting.

I know good Mexican food having enjoyed the best Southern California has to offer. this isn't the…read moreBell. this is genuine food. the flavors are unique & delicious. I'm not a fan of Heat so their Mild level suits me fine. I love the seasoned grilled shrimp in either a hefty burrito or a generous quesadilla. pleanty of shrimp. add rice and sides like pico, avocado, white cheese sauce, lettuce tomato sour cream & pico. the Guacamole is extraordinary. I've never liked cilantro...until now. used in these dishes it is a much needed ingredient. I'd eat here every day if I could. fresh. genuine. healthy. great service go go go...even at 74 I discovered something new & delicious.

In Hinton WV for my wife's family reunion. Driving through the downtown area we spotted El Azteca…read moreand found a parking spot right up front. We were a little cautious because the door was propped open and several floor fans were running. It was fine, plus the temps there were just high 70s. Our waitress brought us menus and water, then while we glanced over the menu, brought chips and salsa. I asked for hot salsa and a mildly hot one. My wife chose the Lunch Burrito with a side of Frijoles. I went for the Lunch Taco Salad, although I was a bit disappointed that I missed not seeing frijoles in the list of ingredients. However my ant thoughtful wife shared hers. Our food was fairly quick, enough time to polish off a tray of warm tortilla chips. My wife's burrito was excellent, spiced nicely with the hot salsa. I enjoyed my taco salad, even with the absence of beans. And of course my wife had to test the Churros. A pleasant experience overall and good food with fair prices. And good service. A definite plus for little Hinton.

The restaurant itself is very clean and tidy. My boyfriend and I come regularly because it's cheap, relatively healthy, and always hot and absolutely delicious with super generous portions. We pretty much get the chicken and steak fajitas every time and never get bored. Absolutely love this place.

Well, I've got a bunch of negatives for this place, and only two positives. Somehow I think those…read moretwo positives are enough to pretty much balance out all the other negatives though. Although of course don't get me mistaken, if there was a choice, I definitely would not consider coming back to this place unless I had no other option. First of all, the service was pretty bad. They didn't really seem to care to pay attention when you walked through the door to seat you, my waitress barely spoke or understood English, and apparently you need to get up from your table and track someone down to be able to get a knife and napkins and anything else you may need since all you were given was a fork and a straw (since obviously no one pays attention to you even if you constantly look around and give signs like you're waiting on service). For some reason they decided that they would only bring my food out all at once. So I sat there munching on some usual complementary chips, while I waited for my appetizer, main course, and deserve to all be brought to me together. Which I kind of found a little weird. Definitely not the most convenient thing. The food itself was alright. Nothing outstanding, but decent. Honestly, everything was just a little too salty for me. Especially the grilled shrimps, which felt like they were coated in layers and layers of pure salt. Almost to the point where I continued them. I think if the food wasn't salty, despite it being pretty bland, would be pretty decent. Now that I put you through all of that, you may be wondering at last, what are the two positives! Well first of all, it's the price of what you pay and the portions you get. If everything else I said wouldn't matter to you, then this is definitely the place to come for a deal. It is extremely economical to eat here, as you got some outstanding value for your money. The second positive...churos! After my lackluster experience, I was so extremely pleased to have ended the night with this dessert. One of the best churos I've had. Crunchy yet still soft, fresh, very tasty, and topped with a slight cherry glaze.

While on vacation in West Virginia visiting a few state parks and the National Park literally…read moreacross the road, we were looking for a spot to relax and grab food and a drink, but also had our dog with us so needed somewhere with outdoor seating. We found The Burrito Bar in yelp and gave it a shot and think we found a bit of a hidden gem! Located just seconds from the main highway and the main visitor center for the National Park, once you get back into the area where the restaurant is, you would never know it. It is down a little gravel road and nestled in the trees with a bit of a view of the mountains. They had a very large outdoor area, and I think a small indoor area, but I did not actually go inside. Outside there was a bar, lots of tables and chairs and a very large stage for live music! There was a nice mix of sight see-ers, rafting guides, rafting tourists, and was nice to hangout with all and hear some good music. A lot of the guides loved sharing some of their things to see around the area which helped us put some other things on the list of things to do! Food and drink wise was just as good as the experience. They had a very large beer menu, as well as a full service bar with good bartenders. Food wise they had a lot of vegetarian options noted on the menu if you are looking for that but everything tasted very good. I had a pork burrito which was great and also had a bite of a steak quesadilla that was excellent! Nothing super crazy, but all of the food seemed to be real solid. I don't think you could go wrong with your pick! I don't know if we will be back since we were on vacation, but would encourage anyone in the area to give The Burrito Bar a try and have a nice relaxing meal in a cool spot!
