Exceptional prices! Waitstaff was quick and friendly. Food was alright. Nothing bad, nothing outstanding. But good. We had steak fajitas..... meat was cut very very small and they were hardly any onions. We also have the enchilada special. Food was delicious!! Meat grilled and seasoned to perfection. The service was extremely fast; and the restaurant was nice and very clean. If you are traveling on I-40 pull into Warner, the home town of Quinn Jones. Grab a plate of good Mexican food at El Jarocho. The El Jarocho in Checotah and Warner are owned by the same individual. We recently dined at the one in Checotah. The menus are the same. I believe this one in Warner is noticeably better in the food and service. The food we had today was a good 4.5 stars in my opinion. My wife said her plate of food was a strong 5 star. So, five stars it is. Good salsas, especially the picante. It is made from a combination of dried chilis and fresh ingredients. It blends well with the mild salsa. My wife's plate "Enchiladas Mexicanas" was a delicious sampling of the restaurant's meats and enchilada sauces. Four corn tortillas filled with seasoned pork, chicken and steak covered with the restaurant's sauces. I had the #22 a beef burrito, crispy taco and a cheese filled relleno. The red sauce is outstanding. I had it on my ground beef packed burrito. The restaurant's ground beef is lightly seasoned. A good helping of salsa picante brought the spice to it, to make for a perfect taco. Every item that had meat in it was generously filled; no scrimping on volume or quality. A big hot filling plate of enjoyable Mexican food. The relatively new building is clean and comfortable inside. The furnishings show to be well worn. They probably came from their old restaurant that was located up the street. Overall, very good food and service! read more

Not sure why anyone would want to eat here.. the food has no flavor, the salsa is watered down. The beans taste like they came out of a can. The cheese cake had a refrigerator taste to it. I just can't wrap my head around why people call this place authentic. This food is not close to being authentic. We obviously won't be back. read more

Was driving through on my way to Arkansas with my family and my 2 sister-in-law's when we decided it was time to have a good meal. I had been wanting good Mexican cuisine and I took a chance on this location. Absolute Hidden Gem! Must stop here! I got the combination meat skillet it was so good ! They have complimentary chips and salsa and if you ask nicely they will hook it up with "spicier" red salsa. The ambience was lovely and we felt welcomed and food came out in a timely manner. Very clean restaurant. First time visitor and i was very impressed. Food tasted wonderful and our server was very nice and helpful.

The service here is excellent, you never have to look for a server they always check on you, drinks are kept full, empty plates disappear without you having to ask, friendly people. Prices are good, the queso sauce is delicious! I will always stop here when in town. read more
