It's been months since I've been to this location and the food is still good. The food never disappoints. The customer service was amazing and we were seated right away. When we came in the waiters were very rude. They threw the plates at us on the table. The food didn't taste that good. The waiters were not attentive at all. The atmosphere was very off in the whole establishment. Didn't even make it home all the way and my fiancé was already puking. Chicken looked raw and no dishes were really good. DO NOT ORDER UBER EATS with them!!! I wasted 3 nights waiting for a dinner that never showed up because restaurant doesn't take the order and doesn't tell the driver until they show up and never notifies the customer. They don't even pick up their phone to even check with them. I gave them 3 chances but very unprofessional to leave a customer waiting & no notifying them. Although opinions vary from person to person depending on who you talk to in town about this and other Mexican restaurants in town, I personally find El Jimador to be an overall good establishment, though it is definitely not the best there is. The food is decent, but also rather generic for a Mexican restaurant. They have staple Mexican dishes such as tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, chimichangas, etc. The atmosphere is low-key, good for family outings or taking out a group of friends, and the owners are very nice. Overall, a "nice" place but if you're looking for a more lively, unforgettable dining experience, this might not be the place for you. read more

This is probably the best Mexican restaurant in the area for food. My all time favorite is El Vaquero in Columbus and Phenix City for food AND best margaritas. This place,I feel, is equivalent to El Vaquero in food quality and service but margaritas are just a small step below....but still very good! read more

Absolute rip off! Ordered 18. Three chicken tacos for $6.75 they charged me $11:45. I pointed this out and they gave me the run around about an up charge for vegetables and grilled chicken when all I said was number 18 soft tacos.
