A clothing boutique for women of all ages with hip, sexy but not trashy, fun, colorful and unique apparel, not to mention the most fun trucker caps (I've got three so far) and other fun accessories for yourself or for friends. I literally stocked my closet with jeans, tops and sweaters from Howard and Marge and found a couple super cool, retro style shirts for my man. Since I'm not a mall shopper and I prefer to shop and support my local businesses I will probably be wearing Howard and Marge apparel exclusively now.

Bring your dog to work - do NOT YELL at me (the customer) for opening the door in fear that your dog will escape. You screamed at me and made no apologies for it, even though my mother was clearly holding YOUR DOG back from getting outside. Here is an idea, put a long lead on your dog. 2. How about talking to your customers and not just your friends. A quick hello and asking what we were looking for would have been nice. Sorry we did not go to school with you or that we do not have kids that go to school with yours, but we are very faithful Burien shoppers who deserve some attention. 3. Learn to use an inside voice. The volume at which the owner spoke was completely distracting. 4. Put price tags on things. There were some super cute knee high socks that I kept gravitating to, but contained no price tag nor was there any signage about the product. People do not like having to ask for the price of things. Be kind and label them. We have no intention of returning. Feeling sad and frustrated. A side note: I am not giving the one star rating because of this experience. I have been in this store several times before this and every time the owner and/or person working behind the counter seems completely consumed with something/someone else.

The shoes, white short sleeve button up shirt with a blue tie and navy blue or black slacks to match! I was a courtesy clerk at 16 when there was etiquette, training and most definitely strict representation of the store's brand! No matter who you asked from the bagger to the manager, if they worked there, they knew where literally everything was located and if something was out of stock! Nowadays I get a lot of confused looks or "I don't know" and they walk off without attempting to assist! Nowadays you're lucky if you can find 1 committed, hard-working courtesy clerk at any store! To...I digress, let's get it! I initially ordered their 4 piece for $5 and a 1/2 lb of JoJo's. The 1st associate was very welcoming, sincere and thoughtful when picking out the 4 pieces. She'd just saved me a coupon and a trip to kfc for a $5 2 piece meal! As I was leaving there was a man at the door asking for change for food, I searched my pockets and found nothing so I said that I had nothing, he thanked me anyway. I went to my truck to see if I had any change there, I didn't so I went and gave the man my 4 piece and JoJo's and went back inside and ordered another for myself...this was the other associate. I ordered the same thing and she gathered it but not taking time to check the food for what's freshest and what's not like the previous associate had done. I came home and immediately regretted not saying anything; over 1/2 the jojo's were hard and stale! The pieces of chicken she choose weren't any better! Some weren't even hot, but they're all sitting in the warmer together so how is that?! It's the end of the day, I get it. It's a busy mother's Day, I get it. Customer satisfaction is your job...Get it?! Do Better!! To the initial associate: Thank you for your dedicated service! The man in need got some well selected fresh chicken for dinner and I'm grateful for that!

I'm going to work on sending another email to Mike Johnson head of Kroger and the lady who was in charge of Fred Meyer I can't remember her name to see if we can still get bags with handles on them. Safeway has plastic bags and they have handles and that way you can carry six bags at once instead of just one or two.

Price was always high, due to (historically) domestically sourced and manufactured goods, now only one or two remaining items are manufactured in the states (of imported materials)..and yet the prices continue to go up, while the quality goes way down. Their customer service is HORRIFIC. If you have a problem you will be completely screwed!!! Weeks to respond to an e-mail. They have turned off the CC phone lines (you get a recording telling you so, and tough sh*t), the have disabled chat on the site. Local stores are NOT ALLOWED to help if you ordered on-line (they will lose their jobs if they try to help you). RUN, don't walk away. There is NOTHING good left of this once great company!! I am ashamed that I recently purchased an item from here, and also pissed that the sizing is so messed up that i cannot wear it (nor return it because CC simply ignores their customers). Next step is a charge-back on my credit card (sucks, but it is the only recourse with horribly run companies like this).

Shopping in Burien, Washington…read more.. We were headed for this Ross yesterday, but saw IKEA first and bought a bath mat there. Shucks! The bath mats at Ross have a lower price! Oh, well... We looked at pet supplies, shoes, hair accessories, phone supplies, stationary, personal care items, kitchen gadgets, costume jewelry, and t-shirts. We ended up just getting a set of Stitch socks! There was a Security Guard at the door who greeted everyone as they entered and checked receipts as customers left. The cashier was friendly and efficient. We talked about Trader Joe's around the corner and how they still have the mini cooler bags... LOL! Thanks for the Tuesday Club's 10 percent discount!

Practically all of the clothing is geared towards women. I saw plenty of cool stuff though. Steve saw a great leather jacket but it wasn't his size or cut. But despite all of that the inventory here is really great and some of the items are real gems. If you are into vintage clothing shops definitely swing by and take a peek.

A majority of the clothing is definitely female-based but there's still a decent-sized men's section, and I (a guy) managed to find what I needed to complete my fit.
