Nice little neighborhood Mexican place in Wildwood a few blocks from the beach. We came here for dinner on a Thursday night in August when we got tired of roaming the boardwalk. The service was friendly. The place was bright and clean. The food was very good. My girlfriend and I both got tacos and the meat was a little dry but other than that they were great. The total for two plates of 3 tacos each + chips and guacamole and no drinks was $39.50 before tip which seems steep but not sure how it compares to other Mexican places, especially ones not in beach towns. read more

The staff was very unpleasant and we found our table and the floor very sticky and dirty. Will not go back again nor recommend this place.

I wanted to like this place so badly, as I love Birria tacos and am always excited for options beyond pizza and cheesesteaks, but I ordered the street birria tacos, they said 15 minutes, so I took my seat and waited for them to call my name as instructed. By the time 30 minutes had passed, I asked them about my order and they handed my a to go bag that had been on the counter for at least 15 minutes. I explained that I'd ordered "for here" and that these ones were cold and soggy, but instead of offering to remake them, they just said, "yeah, sorry about that." The tacos were a nasty soggy mess. Gas station food at best. I guess in a tourist town where you collect the tip up front, customer service isn't a consideration. read more

Do not listen to any of the negative reviews. I've eaten my fair share of Mexican food including in Mexico and this was on par with some of the best I've had. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The homemade corn tortillas were perfect. The shrimp was delicious and plentiful. The mole and verde sauces fantastic. The homemade salsa was excellent. Even my wife who is "not a fan of Mexican food" told me that this will now be a staple take out spot when we are in North Wildwood. I agreed. read more

Yelp lists this place as permanently closed, but it's not. We had breakfast here this morning and it was really good. I have the eggs with green sauce. Tasty without being too spicy. The eggs were extraordinarily fluffy. The beans, rice, queso blanco, and flour tortillas all taste fresh and light. Daughter had the eggs and Mexican sausage (chorizo) and it was also good. Service was fast and friendly. Staff doesn't have good English but it wasn't a problem. read more

Small but so delicious!! chips and guacamole with three other different sauces for $3! Also they are open year round 7 days/week! Bought over $100 worth of tacos because we had a craving for tacos. We ordered Al pastor, chicken, carne asada and carne enchilada. All the tacos had a good amount of meat on them and nothing was dry like mentioned in previous posts. If you like authentic Mexican food this is a great place for tacos. read more

3.5 stars Solid Mexican place near the convention center. Came here voracious and did not leave disappointed. The carne asada I had was a bit dry, but the guacamole and the salsas they had out were awesome. Excellent horchata and good selection of Latin sodas. My friends adored their tacos and breakfast selections, but I wasn't as impressed with my food. However, the plantains were awesome and a very generous portion. Amazing food. Best in town. We stopped in for a quick bite and it was just that! Quick, fresh and authentic. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress was very nice. The portions are big. We needed a quick midnight snack and saw this place right across from our Airbnb spot. The food was decently tasty. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had but it hit the spot.
