The grilled chicken burrito bowl also was a miss, it was dry and bland, and not something I'd recommend. The rice and beans are a great filler but could better. For dessert, the churros are a must. crispy, airy twists of dough dusted with cinnamon sugar, served with rich Mexican chocolate. The tres leches cake is decent too, classic vanilla sponge soaked in sweet milks. Not the best I've had, but a nice way to end the meal if you're craving something sweet. Overall, I stick to the tacos and churros.

If you're like me and watch what you eat, give it a try. And ordering directly on their website gets you to about $17 total with a tip. Not bad!

It is not saying much for a city that really lacks in Mexican cuisine. To say I did not give this restaurant a fair shake is like saying I only went to an ice cream shop and only ordered the cone. Onto the food. The Sopa Azteca (their tortilla soup) is a nice change from what I had at a previous Mexican restaurant. I would like the portion to be bigger and more meat in it, but I like the Mexican spices and the variety here. It is quite enjoyable. The Queso Fundido should be called a Queso No Divertido. It was awful to eat, with lousy flavor and texture. This is the second time I have struck out with this appetizer. It is safe to say I am done ordering it in this city. Nobody does it right. The Paella is nice, but at its core has the essence of a nice dish. Some parts are full of tremendous flavor, and some parts are dry and bland. The salsa verde has a lot of kick here, but the side salad and charro beans nearly ruin the whole thing. At least the Mexican rice is fluffy and has great flavor. Speaking Spanish to the staff helped curry points in the service department. I like family owned businesses. Everybody was busy and on point. So what if the food does not wow, I have given more, for less. Hence why this is a three star review and not a two star review.
