Impressed with the long line of customers ! The orders were made infront of us and it helps we can see through the glass dividers. I love to see it cooked from fresh ingredients! Table seating was great! FIFA was showing and the place was organized and neat, despite of being full and customers in and out. The food was great, serving was generous, love every bite! Price was reasonable and worth it. I will definitely recommend this place if you're in the are!

Staff: The team here was nice. We came in only for Mexican bread so we only encountered the staff on that side. Quality/Quantity: Wow! Then have a ton of Mexican bread that all remind me of my childhood. All of my favorites for sure. Got 8 to go and they were all fresh, delicious, and a real treat. Value; Fair Overall: I'll so be back.

What a delicious place! Went for the first time and got 4 tamales, 2 beef and 2 green chicken, and a mahi mahi burrito. The chicken tamales were quite good. I look forward to trying the green pork - unfortunately, they had ran out by the time I ordered. The beef tamales were good, but didn't seem as filled as the chicken, and not as flavorful. As for the mahi mahi burrito, it was excellent! I ordered it with just rice and guacamole and it was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better burrito. The flavor of the mahi, with the rice and guac was delicious. I definitely think this place is worth a visit. I'll be going the next time I get a burrito craving... or a tamale craving. Or a beef soup craving. Or just Mexican food craving.

These were hands down the best beef taquitos I've ever had! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful meat on the inside. It was served fresh and piping hot. I also liked that it's a quick order-and-pay service, which made the whole experience super easy and convenient. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

I don't give 1 stars unless things go terribly wrong. Sadly, things did here. You will be treated as a second class citizen if you don't speak Spanish. 1. I was confused by the ordering situation. There's a line to go the Order section at the left. A person will take your order. You then step aside and wait until they call your food at the register. This is where things went wrong since the worker didn't speak English. I know maybe a total of 20 Spanish food-related words but this wasn't helpful. We're in a country where the primary language is English. If you work in a customer-facing role, you should at least know the basic English words for your job. If you don't, then let people order via a list, online, or point at photos. I asked if they had soup since I came for pozole. The sign said they only had it on the weekends and one of the workers said this too---or so they said. 2. Once my food was finished, the cashier confirmed my food. One order was made wrong so the worker had to remake it correctly. That was fine and made me wait longer as the dinner rush went on. You could see the chaos as everyone was running around filling orders. 3. Finally after having been there for half an hour, the order was finished so I could pay, but lo and behold, my first order that was set to the side disappeared. They offered to remake it, but I was done waiting. 4. I saw other orders had soup when they told me it was sold out for the day. Quelle surprise. At the end, the sad thing is that my one completed dish of shrimp quesadilla tasted good. The shrimp was well-seasoned with cilantro and a spicy sour cream. I can't come back here despite the cheap prices over this lack of customer service. I got one pithy "sorry" from the cashier as I left. You could have made up for this with goodwill with a free small food item or discount for my next visit. Sadly, I will warn anyone who doesn't speak Spanish to not come here. I went to El Campeon after since I was so unhappy that I didn't get the enchiladas from my disappeared meal where the ordering process and customer service were far better and what this place should have been.

Fish taco, carnitas taco and a horchata
    Kevin L.

The taco was large and packed with meat. The fish taco is made of mahi mahi and have a good fish flavor. The horchata has a rich flavor and not water down. The pork was lean. Salsa was not self service and the cashier will hand it out.

I came in here to look for my favorite Mexican candy called camote or tecamote but they don't have any, unfortunately. It's a cute market and taqueria. Everyone is very friendly!

This unassuming storefront cafe/diner has the most delicious food and it's reasonably priced. We stumbled in after driving around looking for a decent Mexican restaurant in the area. We over-ordered because of their extensive, enticing menu and we over-ate (!). But oh-- it was worth it. I got a chile relleno burrito (again - !!!!). I've never seen anyone make a chile relleno burrito. It was FAT, stuffed full with ingredients and had that spicy relleno in the middle of everything. My Mom got the taco salad and we shared a plate of potato tacos (she's veg/vegan). Suffice it to say, we devoured absolutely everything. It was savory and delicious. Made right in front of you in the exposed kitchen, by extra friendly staff. The atmosphere is down-home coffee shop vibe inside with plastic cups and utensils and a napkin dispenser for the greasy eating moments which you WON'T regret one bit. One other telltale sign that the joint is a good one: it was filled with patrons latin heritage. If the locals are cramming the place... you know it MUST be good. DEFINITELY take a stroll in the adjacent bakery and I challenge you not to walk out with something. The display case if filled with cakes and puddings topped with fresh fruit. Absolutely give this place a try.

Banana smoothie/ juice? Not sure but it was delicious

I went with…read moremy dad tonight and we shared chicken tacos, a steak quesadilla, and an order of the taquitos....they were all incredible (the steak quesadilla was my personal favorite, however). The chicken tacos were VERY big, I came hungry and I have a large appetite to say the least and one of those tacos itself was pretty filling. Both salsas on it were delicious (they offer a red and green one)! I also threw on a little bit on onion, cilantro and rice and it was even better. Easily the best taco I have ever had. The quesadilla had the best chew on it that is hard to describe in words.....it was slightly crispy on the outside yet a little soft and the flavor on the cheese that was so perfect. The cheese even had that melted and chewy feel to it that just makes your head want to explode because it can't comprehend how something could be so good. The taquitos were so nice and crispy and had such a pleasant blend of all the flavors it packs in its shell, you really get all of them in each bite. They are so generous with their portions in it and fill up the tray all the way to the top. This place is a gift, run here don't walk.

The store is split between savory and sweet. I ordered a few tacos (carnitas, cabeza, and lengua). The full size tacos are quite large and filling. I have to remember to order the street taco version. The flavor is good and with the salsa it hits the spot. I also ordered the menudo to dip my tacos in. Paired the food with some horchata and agua fresca. The service can be a bit slow, maybe because it is usually busy. One thing to note is that you will need to order the drink with your savory order but pick up is on the other side with the sweets.

Plenty of seating, they had indoor and outdoor. They also had a large bar with indoor and outdoor seating as well that was first come first serve and since we had to wait for table, we decided to go into the bar. We were greeted quickly and given chips and salsa and waters. The service was delightful from bussers to the bartender to the waiter ... just outstanding. Very attentive! We opted to order fresh guac, which was made at our table and absolutely delicious pairing with the chips and salsa. It was wonderful. We also shared the chicken fajitas. They were cooked well although I could've used a little more seasoning and came with our choice of corn or flour tortillas along with beans and rice as a side. A must try if you're in the mood for Mexican.

As for the food and service, our party of 7 waited for menus, water, order taking, entrees, refills of water...and the bill. Not all the tables were full on this Friday during lunchtime (non holiday weekend). It just felt like a long, drawn out eating experience and I was in nice company. So us noticing all of this despite the good conversations really made a negative impression. As for the food, when the entrees finally arrived, they were pretty average. I could close my eyes and think of several similar Mexican restaurants with similar flavors and portions. There's plenty of restaurants and eateries around the train station that work hard to earn our business. I was not impressed and won't be returning.
