We went here on Tuesday not realizing that it was taco Tuesday and I'm so glad we did. They have solid Mexican food here with good drinks and great deals. The service was good, our waitress was attentive and friendly plus they food was amazing. I loved their chips and salsa, and the margarita I ordered was good too. We found a caterpillar cooked in our food and when we spoke with the owner he yelled at me and my wife and argued that the teperature used made the caterpillar safe for eating as if my complai t was that the temperature of the caterpillar. The waiter was really nice about this but the owner was extremely rude. Do not go. read more

The wife and I decided to try Los Patios, since we have heard good things about it and had not been. So, off we went to give it a go on a weekday afternoon at lunch. We went insinde to check the place out and were told to sit anywhere. It was nice outside and there was actually a break from the rain, so we chose a table on their patio. It took some time for the waiter to come to our table even though we were one 1 of 3 tables occupied in the whole place. He spent a lot of time at a table that had some people and what I guess was a manager or even the owner, not sure. Finally, we were acknowledged and he took our drink orders and later brought some chips and salsa. Now we had to find out what we were going to eat. The menu is the Mexican version of the Cheesecake Factory menu as it is a book full of many choices. The wife has been trying to duplicate a long time favorite of hers from a Mexican restaurant in the Central Valley. It is a bean and cheese burrito with a chili verde sauce on top. Mostly green sauce, but it has shreds of pork in it as well. We asked if they could conjur up something like this and the waiter said he would check with the cook. He came back and said that they could, but we would be charged the chili verde burrito cost. I didn't think that would be a big deal, so I asked for two of them. Bummer for me, as I should have looked at the menu since the chili verde burrito was $6 more than the bean. The food did not take too long and the bean burrito had a smathering of chili verde on top, certainly we would have received much more chili verde with a full chili verde burrito. So, the upcharge was kinda steep after all. The burritos were big and the taste was pretty good. We did take 1/2 of our burritos home to have later. When I heated mine up the next day, I added some green enchilada sauce and it was decent. I would go again to have the delicious salsa and would try some simpler options. Go. Eat Pretty Good. Went to SC for the surf competition and grabbed an awesome lunch at Los Patios. Carlos is the sweetest and provided incredible service and hospitality. The margarita was terrible. I would rate the chicken enchiladas, a 4 out of 10. The waiter was strongly tried to intimidate me to pay cash. If it's a cash business they should post cash only. I ordered via Doordash and was pretty excited when my food was dropped off because it was packaged very nicely in a Modelo box. However, the menudo I ordered was subpar in flavor and the pieces of tripe in it, while plentiful, were very rubbery. I didn't get any lime/cilantro/onions to go with it, only shredded raw cabbage, chiles, and rice (??). The corn tortillas that came with it were pretty good, although I usually choose flour if given a choice. My order came with free chips, which was nice, but I ended up throwing them away because they were so bitter from the oil they were fried in. Also, I wasnt given any salsa to go with them. The flan was ok, a bit too firm and not worth the $10. I ordered a guayaba agua fresca but received what I believe was tamarind instead, which is ok since I like that flavor anyway. Serving size for the agua fresca was quite large, which I appreciated. Sadly, I won't be ordering from here again. read more
