Finally, my steak enchiladas with mole sauce was out of this world. It was still piping hot, the cheese pull was mouthwatering, and the jumbo shrimp and rice on the side were delectable additions. We found Sol Agave on Yelp and decided to visit on a Saturday night. It was absolutely worth the trip! The restaurant is very spacious and beautifully decorated. We arrived around 7:00 p.m. and were seated on the patio right away without any wait. The food was amazing! The Our Famous Carnitas ($29) was absolutely delicious, served with tender braised pork, rice, beans, guacamole, salsa cruda, and tortillas. It's now my favorite dish at the restaurant! The braised pork was cooked perfectly, flavorful, juicy, and incredibly tender. We also ordered the Tacos De Hongo ($39), which were excellent as well. The prime outside skirt steak was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the portobello mushrooms and grilled onions. Thanks to our server for recommending these two dishes, I might have ordered something completely different otherwise! For dessert, we had the Butter Cake ($16), and it was outstanding. So far, it's the best butter cake I've ever had. The service was excellent! Our server was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations truly made our dining experience even better. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Soy Agave is a great spot for a special occasion. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is beautiful, and it's definitely more of a destination restaurant than an everyday dinner spot. My only issue came during my most recent visit. I completely understand that gratuity is automatically included once you reach a certain party size, and I have no problem with that. However, our group consisted mostly of kids, and one of the adults wanted to order a kids meal because they weren't very hungry. The request was denied by our server. As someone who manages a restaurant myself, I understand the reasoning behind the policy. That said, I also believe there are situations where a little flexibility can go a long way in creating a great guest experience. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did leave us feeling like the restaurant was prioritizing policy over hospitality. Overall, the food and ambiance were excellent, and I'd still recommend Soy Agave for a nice night out. I just hope there can be a little more discretion in situations like this moving forward. read more

I decided to give this restaurant another try and am so glad I did. Not only was the food delicious (Mar y Tierra, Shrimp Taquitos, and FREE chips, beans, and salsa) but the service was stellar. I took my childhood friend here for her birthday and it was an amazing experience. Jorge (I think that was his name) was OUTSTANDING. He was friendly, kind, and patient. He was always there when we needed him. He even overheard me wishing my friend a happy birthday and came over and sang with his coworkers and brought a piece of cake. We showed up on Valentine's Day. They were slammed and we didn't see any open tables. The host of the staff did an amazing job taking us last minute and seating us within five minutes. I was pleasantly surprised because we just dropped in and out of nowhere. The food took a little while to come out, but we were complaining because we showed up on Valentines night without reservations. They were very accommodating and apologetic, really great service. We were quickly seated and the waiter accommodated my daughter's request for strawberry lemonade even though it wasn't on the menu. My group of 11 friends had a 6:30pm Rez to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and found ourselves standing in a crowded entry for 1 HOUR before we were seated. We spoke to the manager several times which was fruitless as he just made excuses for the fact that they overbooked and don't know how to manage their reservations. I love the decoration and very inviting and just beautiful Our waiter Enrique was super nice and it was great service. I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos and I have to say I appreciate that the menu will tell you if it's gluten-free and vegetarian which is great for me so I knew exactly what I was getting. The fish was cooked so well, it was not overcooked the mango slices in there just added such a great combination of flavor. I also ordered a version, jalapeño pineapple, margarita, and that was divine My husband got the steak that came with the avocado jalapeño soup, which it's a cold soup that you have after which I think is a great palette cleanser and he loved it. We started with the Sugar Cane Filet appetizer and wow -- it was so good it could've been a main dish with the rice and veggies. The sauces were amazing. We also had Cadillac margaritas with a half Tajín / half salt rim and they were made perfectly. For dinner we split the "Para Dos - Taste of Mexico" and it was insane (in the best way). So much food and everything was incredible -- we had tons of leftovers. My husband loved the carnitas, the prawns had this buttery sauce with just the right kick, and the chicken fajitas were delicious. I'm allergic to bell peppers and our server immediately offered to substitute sautéed zucchini, squash, onions, and carrots -- which were so good. That meant a lot. My favorite was the steak with mushrooms and cheese, and the cheese fondue in the center was smoky with a little kick -- so flavorful. JJ, our server, truly made the night. One of my favorite date night/ anniversary restaurant. This was our second vday celebrating with sol agave and I gotta say the food is just as good as the first time !! We really went for the calamari but it was sold out by the time we sat down, so we had the pulpo alas brazas and def a must try super flavorful not dry what's so ever or chewy it did have a bit of kick but with the salad it was really not noticeable. The drinks were super flavorful you can def taste the tequila lol I did wish we had a more attentive server he kinda kept forgetting us, but it was a busy day so I'm sure everyone was running around.
