Was within walking distance from work so only took 5 mins. Right across the street from John Muir Middle School. Walking up to the establishment appeared to be very clean on the outside. A little graffiti on the side of the wall but nothing to be alarmed about. Small parking lot and available street parking also. Upon walking in, it was not crowded or busy with a lot of people but the employees were busy in that kitchen tho. Wish I would've recorded them lol. The restaurant, however, is quiet and clean. Menus displayed up above and across the walls. The Hispanic guy who took my order was very cool, full of good energy and patient. Took about 10 mins for my order. I ordered the "Pastrami Special", which includes; a delicious pastrami sandwich on a French roll, fries and a drink. Gotta have mustard, pickles and cheese on mines. Paired that thang with a strawberry soda. Don't drink soda really but forget about it lol. I really love the service and energy here. After checking my order and taking several pics, I put my food back into my bag only for it to tear and my food to fall out on the floor smh lol. Rest in Peace to some of those fries cuz they went straight in the trash. He saw me get back in line then poked his head out and ask if everything was alright haha. Not only did he replace my paper bag but he also put my order in a plastic bag and threw in another bag of fries for my troubles. Talmbout top tier service. I will definitely be back. I came back again and I was not disappointed. First we got there and there was a long line out the door. The line did move pretty quickly and the location is a little small with limited seating. You can't have anyone save spots for seating. However they do have organized chaos they call it but it works! As soon as we ordered our food and drinks we let them know it will be for here and they got us seated right away. I got the mild sandwich, and a medium chicken strip. I also got macaroni salad, collared greens, and a sweet tea to drink. All the food was delicious and I have been thinking about it since. The staff were friendly and super helpful. They make the restaurant fun and inviting. PS the sweet tea was hands down the best sweet tea I have ever had. I can't wait to come back. Please open a location in the IE soon.
