Their deli counter is a major highlight--the sandwiches are ridiculously good, prepared with my favorite ingredients that are always fresh and packed with flavor. My to-go order is always a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread lol. What really stands out, though, is the customer service. The employees and managers are genuinely nice, welcoming, and always ask me if I have found everything. It's rare to find a store with good food and nice workers!

The cashiers, depending on who you get, can be super rude, unhelpful and even argumentative. I still don't understand the deal with their plastic bags - are they charging for them, or giving you a credit for bringing your own bags, or what? I wish I didn't have to shop here, but Aldi doesn't sell certain vegetables that they do have here. Can't buy anything besides that though - it's just too expensive.

I needed to find something and the manager did not bother to help. She finally said my item would…read morebe in the vitamin section. She did not tell me where the vitamin section was. Also, the vitamin section is very large ---and it would have taken a long time to find what I was looking for. The regular employees were doing the best they could. The manager could have helped me --but she did not bother. She did not want me to be there! I have shopped at Natural Grocers in at least five different cities. There is no happiness or good vibes in this store in Tyler. It is a very unhappy, sad store. This one in Tyler needs to have the corporate office step in to revive the place. I was the only one in the parking lot --about 10 minutes later, there were about three other customers. A very somber place. I did not feel welcome. I felt like I was an inconvenience to them---and they wanted me to leave. I like Natural Grocery a lot...and I do not want the company to close its stores because of disgruntled managers.

I can describe her older short white lady with grey/white hair, and she had glasses on. This was my first time going to this store, and will probably be my last due to this "trash customer service experience". I went to this store to find "better for you" nutri grain bars. As I looked through the aisles some of the brands were not very unfamiliar, so I took a photo of a box of bars, to text a photo to a friend to see if they heard / no of this brand. As I was did that the "educational manager" asked me if I was a instacart shopper. I said I was not, then turned back around. She then said I saw you taking photos, and since you are not an instacart shopper you cant. I told here why I was doing it ( to text a photo to a friend to see if they heard / no of this brand ). I then ask is she the manager, she said she is the educational manager. I then ask who is the manager, she then leaves to go get the manager. The manager comes, and just stands there and she follows behind. I then explain what I was doing, and he didnt say anything. The lady then says I got the manager so that things do not escalate. I then say I didnt ask for a manager, you just left and got one. She said I didnt know why you were talking photos, ( even through I told her why ), and I didnt know if you was talking photos and going to another store. She then say as long as you are not doing that its fine. I then say, "that is not what you said". You said I cant take photos because I'm not an instacart shopper, she then changed her story up because of the manager being right there. So in reality this lady was harassing me because she was suppositious of a black man taking photos in the store, once again ( even through I told her why ). This lady should be fired, and educated.

Because many meals are pre-assembled, it isn't possible to remove common allergens like corn or cheese. Looking closely at the ingredients, items include mayonnaise with high fructose corn syrup, sweet potato fries cooked in soybean oil, and Hormel meats with added hormones. Longview has a strong demand for truly non-inflammatory and allergen-friendly options. Simple kitchen updates would transform this into a go-to spot for people with strict dietary needs: Offering customizable, build-your-own options (so ingredients like corn or dairy can be left off) Swapping to clean base ingredients, like avocado oil for cooking and corn-syrup-free mayo (like Primal Kitchen) Introducing organic ingredients, hormone-free meats, and grain-free menu items There are so many people in our community with sensitivities who would love to be loyal, regular customers if safer, cleaner options were available!

This may be a healthy place for lunch if you've just started trying to be healthy and are comparing it to say, fried chicken and fries. But bread, wheat, dairy frozen yogurt, orange juice, pineapple juice - these are not healthy things.

The outside of the store was very nice, as I entered the store it was well lit, so I proceeded on and began to walk down each aisle looking at all the different products on the very clean, well organized shelfs and refrigerated display cases. I walked up and down every single aisle in the whole store scanning the huge variety of products offered for sale. I noticed the staff members were diligently working stocking the shelfs, cleaning as they worked. This store is very clean, very well organized. As I completed my tour of this store I walked up to the exit doors and I stopped and paused for maybe 3 to 4 seconds then I proceeded to my vehicle got in and I sat there and felt a bit sad , I feel like it was because the whole time I was looking over your store I was never looked at or spoken to by any of your staff members.
