The salsas also did not really stick out to me, or have that fresh salsa taste that is typically expected, but both times we went late in the evening so didn't think much of it. We ordered tacos and quesadillas on different occasions, and let's just say, if you do, be sure to have access to the porcelain the next morning. Willing to give them another try because I was really hoping to love this local spot and make it a regular location. The drinks we got were pretty good so I may have to return for the happy hour! We were served chips and salsa when we sat down but the chips were too hard to enjoy. I decided to try their chorizo tacos - it was decent. Behind the counter is one heck of a hard-working family cranking all kinds of Mexican classics. I had 2 spicy pork tacos and 2 al Pastor pork tacos. The portion was insane. I could barely finish it. And the fresh guacamole and salsa verde were sublime. This is like eating at someone's house. The service was excellent, too. They have a decent number of tables if you want to dine in.
