As a Brooklyn guy from Bensonhurst who actually takes food seriously, and someone who runs a food…read morereview page called Brooklyn vs The World, I can tell you when a place is just hype and when it's the real thing. Los Bandoleros is the real thing. The second we walked in, you could feel it. Spotless place, beautiful decor, authentic energy, and a vibe that instantly felt welcoming instead of forced. Michelle was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, sharp, attentive, and just genuinely great at what she does. The whole staff made us feel comfortable, and then owner Dave came over personally to welcome us, which tells you a lot about the pride behind this place. Now the food. The fish tacos were outstanding. Crispy fresh fish, light, flavorful, with fresh slaw and pico that gave every bite the perfect balance. Nothing greasy, nothing heavy, just done right. The brisket quesadilla was loaded. Smoky tender brisket, perfectly melted cheese, crispy tortilla, pure comfort food. But the brisket sourdough sandwich stole the show. Thick juicy brisket stacked high on perfectly toasted sourdough with that buttery crunch. The kind of sandwich where everybody stops talking after the first bite. Even the rice was seasoned right and tasted homemade, which says a lot because most places ignore the details. And the churros with ice cream were the perfect finish. Hot, crispy, fresh, and exactly what dessert should be. What impressed me most was how fast everything came out while still tasting fresh and made with care. As someone who checks out food spots for my page, Brooklyn vs The World, I've seen plenty of places that look good online and disappoint in person. This wasn't one of them. This place gets it right. Food, service, hospitality, atmosphere. Easy 5 stars. We'll absolutely be back.

Delicious, very well made with quality ingredients. You can taste the love and care they put into every dish. They even added some merch so I had to pick up a cool hat.

I ordered the white chicken soup to go and that's one. I would give a three out of five just because I feel like I could've had a little more flavor to it. I definitely had places where they were a lot more flavorful. We got the flautas which were super crispy super well done, and the tamales were also like homemade. I also ordered the quesadillas, which was very good portions were big, and the meat was the marinated pork which had tons of flavor. My mom ordered the seafood soup. I personally don't eat shrimp so I didn't try it, but everyone else on the table tried it and loved it. There was ample amount of seafood in the soup. The service was great. They were on top of everything and no one to check in onto their customers. Talking about the ambience it's very traditional and it's nothing glamorous when you walk in, which makes it very authentic . I personally came here for authenticity not for a great ambience, but instead great food. Definitely recommend

I've had flautas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and more and I have never been let down. I absolutely love the chicken tinga and salsa verde here. The chicken tinga burrito is my go-to order and I always request extra salsa verde because it is the best salsa to ever touch my lips! I could literally drink it...Everything is so fresh and tasty! The inside has beautiful cultural decor and plenty of tables. It is a BYOB restaurant so feel free to bring your favorite adult beverage. They can be quite busy at times, but service and quality have never fallen during rush hour. If you dine in, you'll start off with fresh chips and salsa verde, which if you haven't caught on yet, you will love. I've attached some pictures from this visit and from previous visits and yes...the burritos are *always* that big and bursting at the seams. If I had to choose my last meal, it would be La China Poblana, hands down.

The burritos are always packed, the presentation of the molcajete for two was amazing, and the quality of their chicken, steak and pork is always great. The salsa verde is 100/10 - I could drink it! You absolutely cannot go wrong with the staples - tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tostadas, fajitas, tamales... they do it all, and they do it WELL. The service is also great when dining in. The decor of the place feels like you're somewhere in the southwest - beautiful colors and imagery on every table, chair, and wall.
