Salad with beets, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce and a delicious mayo-based dressing
    Gale K.

Very highly recommended by someone who works in the area. Stopped in for lunch at 11:30. At first I didn't think the place was open because I couldn't see anyone inside and the lights were very dim. I ordered the quarter chicken with fries and salad. I also ordered what I thought was a salsa, however, it turned out to be very thinly sliced red onions with parsley and lemon juice. It was a nice accompaniment to the chicken. The salad had 2 slices of beet and 2 slice s of tomato on a bed of iceberg lettuce. The dressing was mayo based with some herbs and was a nice choice. I could have done with less lettuce though. The chicken was tender and fell off the bone. The chicken skin of the leg and thigh was crispy and delicious. The meat directly beneath the skin was dry and hard. The rest of the chicken was tender though. Flavors? Ah - I was expecting more depth of flavor but it was ok. The fries were hot, crispy, and plentiful. The restaurant is situated in a strip mall next to a restaurant beauty supply store and a laundromat. It was a very cold day and many people ordered soup - they offered several. Not a bad experience, but not unlike other Peruvian restaurants I've experienced.

Hidden 5 star ceviche gem! We enjoyed the authentic Peruvian fresh fish with plenty of octopus and thinly sliced onions and delicious zesty juice :)

Bad customer service / does not acknowledge me even though standing in front of register with menu in hand. I had to walk out.

Went there to get food and stood in front of the yng lady for 15 mins with menu in hand and she didn't even acknowledge me. After waiting awhile I had to ask if someone can help. Not rude .. jst asked the question. Owner heard me and stated , 'chicken is not ready for an hour'. Wow! Won't ever go back! Guess my money is not green.

If you want to eat amazing Peruvian food or just something tasty and relatively healthy, go here! We absolutely love this charming little neighborhood restaurant. The food and service never disappoint. The portions are substantial, especially for the low price. Also, the restaurant is BYOB! Everything is fresh, delicious, and authentic. If you haven't made it here, you're missing out! Recommendations: Churrasco (skirt steak), Mixed Ceviche, Mussels, and Roasted Chicken.

It's not the best Peruvian in the area and honestly deserves a 3.5/5 but I'm rounding to a 4 for the review. The 4pc Half Chicken Combo is a decent deal for the price point. The chicken is moist, well-seasoned, and pretty tasty. The garden rice isn't authentic as far as I know; every Peruvian spot will offer some form of rice & beans but unfortunately that's not an option here. They also serve this with an orange spicy sauce (aji amarillo) which was spicy, tangy, and a bit smoky. I'm surprised it doesn't come with the classic green sauce most Peruvian chicken places offer. I would also love if the Combo came with 2 half sides. Instead, I ordered Fried Sweet Bananas which were delicious but overly greasy and drenched in oil to the point where it was leaking out of 2 bags. The Beef Lomo Soltado is savory, tangy, and slightly smoky. The beef was pretty tender but the fries were so soggy. I almost wish they serve it separately for delivery so it can maintain some crispiness. The white rice pairs well with this since it soaked up all the delicious flavor from the beef, tomatoes, and onions. Not the best in the area but decent try!

The seasoning was just right, and the crispy skin added the perfect touch. The side of fries and rice complemented the chicken beautifully, making for a well-balanced and satisfying meal. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I can't wait to order again. Only downside is when ordering takeout is there is really no where to park and it is a very tight street. Best option is to parking with your hazards on and have someone run in for you. Highly recommend!

They're known for their incredible Rotisserie Chicken which I can confirm is in fact incredible. It's flavorful, juicy, deliciously roasted, and tender. The chicken skin was crispy and rich in flavor but literally the dark and white parts were equally tasty. Honestly probably some of the best Rotisserie chicken I've ever had. My favorite piece was the thigh, super juicy and delicious. The onions were sweet, crisp, and refreshing - I've never had this with a rotisserie chicken before but it's a game changer. They also serve it with their hot sauce which was both smoky and zesty. The sides I got are a non-negotiable, in my opinion. Both the Pigeon Pea Rice & Moro Rice were well-seasoned, fluffy, and went great with the Rotisserie chicken. The portion is also amazing for the price; it was easily 4 servings! The Maduros were extremely oily but I love the savory-sweet balance you get from them along with the chicken and rice. Super delicious! The Jupiña Pineapple Soda was a good try but could be skipped next time. Note: their menu has cash and credit card prices so you will be paying slightly more per item if you pay with card. All in all, it was an amazing meal that hit the spot and great value! Highly recommend.

Food always comes out hot and consistently on point with portions and taste. I crave their Henny wings and of course those Texas size Margaritas! They surely know how to do drinks correct here! They were running promo for new Kevin Hart liquor and offered us a sample of the margarita mix to ensure it was acceptable flavor for us! That nailed it and we both ordered! I also love their fried fish and shrimp combo. You wouldn't think to get that here but it is a dish I always want and think of here first when I could easily get it locally from a restaurant family that grew up making it lol. They just do it right and with all the extras you can't go wrong. Love the free cake pops at the end! Reminds me of old school Entenmann's chocolate pop'ems before they changed the recipe. lol And that's a good thing for Dallas BBQ! I look forward to them! They are always nice and as attentive as possible. Weekends are hectic but it is much calmer during the week and more attention is provided. This is one of those chains I enjoy and look forward to no matter what day of the week! As long as they remain, I will continue to dine here!

Looking around at the people eating we wait in eager anticipation after seeing the generous portion sizes. Our Buffalo cauliflower (and apps for friends) finally come out after waiting a bit of time. While I thought the cauliflower was just fine, Red found some of them a little tough. We both order the double beef ribs. Red gets baked potato with hers, and I get the fries. Again, both the (very tender) ribs and fries were generous in size, but the fries are cold and mushy. Not sure why I didn't complain then, but others at our table who receive fries get them cold and mushy. That is not all we get. After speaking with Red today, it turns out she vomited last night from the food and says the ribs came up. I had two bouts of the runs and felt off the rest of the night. The bills arrived and they auto add a gratuity to the bill for a party of 5+. My bill was $95.44 with tip included and I gladly handed over a $100 bill for the extra tip, as did everyone else at our table tip extra. I don't mind the mandatory tip as we always go in with the intention of tipping well for good food and service. But we do mind cold food and illness that follows. You milage may vary, but illness is not something we tolerate and give second chances. We won't ever be back.

This location has cute Raising Cane's merchandise. The energy inside is wild, but the real question was: does the food actually live up to the massive hype? I came straight here chasing that legendary crispy, saucy bite--and it did not disappoint. The chicken fingers were piping hot, incredibly tender, and practically standard-issue vessels for that iconic Cane's Sauce. The classic crinkle-cut fries were solid, but the real sleeper hit is always that buttery, pillowy Texas toast. When you assemble the ultimate bite--chicken, sauce, toast, and a fry-- it's devine. It's fast, it's chaotic, and it's a total Times Square experience. If you're looking for a quick, comforting, and undeniably crispy late-night bite in the city, this flagship location delivers exactly what you're craving. The staff is top notch and the DJ kept the energy going!
