Great baleadas! We have been on the search for good baleadas since Honduras Cafe closed down a couple of years ago (a travesty in itself). There are only a few places in the neighborhood that serve baleadas, but we have found them all to be lacking. At other places they either come out cold, with too thin a wrapping, and almost no filling for all that bread. Finally, a place that does it right! Baleadas were warm, had plump filling and just the right amount of the different ingredients to balance each other out. We also ordered catrachitas, which were delicious. If you've never tried baleadas, picture naan bread stuffed with egg, avocado, refried beans, grated cheese and a cream sauce (with or without meat). Deliciousness! For $2-4 per baleada, you can't get a better deal, either! Place was clean, people were friendly and the music (is usually) not too loud. (Note that I previously placed this review when the Yelp listing erroneously listed a different address. This is the correct address.) read more

Didn't get a chance to try because after sitting for 10 min before our order was taken and another addition 30 still waiting for our baleadas we realized the rest of the tables were also waiting to be fed. There was only one person in the kitchen preparing meals and the wait was just ridiculous. It's also cash only and so disappointed in the customer service. read more

Here is what I ordered and what I think about each item. Baleada: very oily and the tortilla was burned. Sopa de mariscos con langosta: If you are looking for Omoa style or north Honduran Mariscos soup stay away from ordering this, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. It does not have sweet plantain and the taste is really different. This soups is more Salvadorian style. Definitely the kind of soup I had was not even worth the 20$ I paid . Pollo chucho (pollo con tajadas): chicken was not tasty at all but the tajadas and ensalada were very good . Asking fo recommendations is a very bad idea. read more

Lmfao I use to work here I quit my job here and I don't regret a moment of doing so. For y'all eating here just know we, as in the workers don't wash their hands. When we're in the kitchen cooking for y'all just know once we touch something we don't wash our hands, it wasn't mandatory. We lost so many customers over these few years. So... if you're ever planning on eating here- just know nobody washes their hands before making you eat your food. Lol enjoy the back wash. Omg I just bought some food from there and NEVER again. Tajadas con pollo frito says online $9 but they charged me $13 okay no problem. Got home it was the nastiest chicken I have ever had. What a waste of money smh. read more

I love this restaurant. I usually go there with my wife at least once a month. I usually order the Pollo con tajadas. It is my favorite dish or maybe is that I like it so much that I only order this plate. LOL. It is a very small restaurant and the staff make you feel very welcome. I also love the fact that when you come in, the owner is always there making sure everything is going well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Great food here! Try their specialties - pupusas or baleadas- and you can't go wrong. The Cena Tipica is also excellent - the frijoles are rich and creamy and they go so well with the carne asada, crema and cheese that come with it. Although the music is a little loud, it's actually nice music and none of reggaeton crap. Overall it's a lovely little local restaurant and I'll be back soon! read more

Food was alright service was worst. First it started with getting our order. Before finishing ordering the person that seems to be the owner just walked away. But barely had anything almost dry.we are finishing eating then I see cockroach!! and another on my table by my husbands hand.OMG! asked for the check and since I did not open a can of soda asked if she can remove off the bill or not charge me and she told me she couldnt remove it. B.c it doesnt allow her to Unbelievable. I was freaked out from the roaches I wanted to get out of there. I was thinking Maybe I ate roaches in my food.next asked for bill. ex: was $45.65 I gave her 55.65 which means i get back $10 instead I got $7. She kept $3.00 TIP without me giving it to her. Thought this place was good until I went to dine there one day and there were small cockroaches crawling on the table. Upon notifying our waitress she tried to deny the fact that there were actual bugs on the table and still expected me to want to continue to eat there.
