Parking is plentiful and they have a bright light for late night runs. The tacos are always fresh and hot. I got to steak tacos and some esquite. I was happy to see the esquite wasn't full of water like some other spots. Everything was delicious. But be prepared to pay $5 per taco.

They have really expended their whole food truck area over the last year with more lights, tables, tents, and the buzzers to let you know when your food is done. Our go-to is the pastor burrito. They are always juicy and flavorful and filled up as much as they can be (some burritos we have gotten from other taco spots have too little filling and a lot of loose tortilla, but not here). They have great tacos as well. We decided to bring my sister and BIL with us after we went to a Halloween event at Newfields and they loved it. If someone in your group doesn't like tacos/burritos, then they have plenty of other things to try or there are many other food trucks over here now and they could get a different type of food entirely.

I've been a little hit-and-miss when it comes to the Indiana Government Center's Statehouse Market…read morethis year. I've had a couple downright disappointing experiences, a handful of average ones, and only occasionally something that truly impressed me. I had planned to visit a pizza truck that was scheduled to be here today, but it appeared to be a cancellation. Box Burger was packed, Union Jack's was busy, and I'll admit that nothing else was striking my fancy. I spied the attractive Garnacha Spot truck and was intrigued. It is beautifully decorated. The line wasn't too bad and I was working on a limited time schedule due to an upcoming meeting. I checked out the menu - tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and a handful of other items. I opted for a chicken quesadilla. I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert when it comes to Mexican. I'd almost guarantee I lean toward Americanized Mexican cuisine. This quesadilla was right at $4.50 plus tax. I should have gotten two, but I typically eat outside and I knew I had to rush. What can I say? I loved this quesadilla. The seasoning mix was perfect, the flavor wonderful, and the serving size was definitely right on for a $4.50 quesadilla. Yes, I could have eaten another one. Easily. The best part for me here? The service was perfect. The woman who took the order was helpful and super friendly. While I'm sure they'd have loved a bigger order, they were marvelously hospitable. The person who handed me the order, presented in a styrofoam container, recognized the difficulty of carrying in a wheelchair and offered me a bag - I didn't take it, but I loved the thoughtfulness. This experience was definitely one of the highlights of Statehouse Market for me this year. The people were friendly, the food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the truck is attractively decorated and fits with the personality of the people and the cuisine. I'll easily return the next time I see The Garnacha Spot and I'm genuinely looking forward to it.

Tacooooooooo Festtttttttt!…read more I love the Indiana Discount Mall, but what I love more is Tavo Fest! This event is held outside of the mall, in the back/sides of the building. Taco fest happens a few times out the year, where different food trucks/vendors bring their eats to the streets, a live DJ is on the mic, various entertainment in the inside eating area, and some adult beverages at the bar. Needless to say, I've made it to several. The most recent one my family and I attended was in September. Before I attended the latest fest, I was doing dialysis and on the transplant list. So, I had to watch what I could eat and drink. Finally being able to attend a fest WITH NO LIMITATIONS was the best experience I had. Finally! I was able to have some of those biggggggg fruit non-alcoholic drinks. Man of man! I had been missing out. The vendors that offer these drinks will get more purchases from me, in the future Taco Fest's. I can't wait for the next Taco Fest. You will know of these events from the business's Facebook page. Warning: be prepared to walk! Parking gets crazy

It was kind of a long wait to get my order, but I understand they probably fried the lobster to order, and it tasted hot and fresh when I got it. The sandwich was delicious but tiny, especially for $26! I get lobster is expensive, and I rarely order it anywhere so I guess I don't really know what the standard is, but I really expected the steep price to translate to a normal-size sandwich. I don't like huge portions but I still thought this was too small; I needed to go buy more food from another truck to feel full. Another thing of note is that the sandwich came in what looked like a thick slice of Texas toast or brioche that had been split down the middle, which worked well for this sandwich because the cut surface of the bread got crispy when toasted, but it wasn't the bun that you expect when the sandwich is called a "roll" - I'm sharing this so anyone reading can calibrate their expectations, not complaining. I am undecided on whether or not I would order again, because I liked the food itself but it was unsatisfying to spend so much for so little.
